Two Photographs of Alleged UFO over O'Hare Airport
Editor's Note: We may be beginning a wave of unsubstantiated photographs of the O'Hare Airport UFO. I am posting for all to see the first and second photographs that have come to light from two different forums. Neither of these has been confirmed as to their authenticity and no source has been established as of the time being. These are interesting, and for now, that is all that they are. Remember that wanting to believe and believing are two different things, so proceed with caution.

UFO Casebook report

Government Fails To Look Into O'Hare UFO
UFO By Editorial Board-Earth was visited by aliens in November. Or at least it's possible. Many employees of O'Hare Airport in Chicago have come forward and described a round gray object hovering just below cloud level around 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 7. But since then, there has not been a single probe by the FAA or the government.

It is understandable that every alien spacecraft sighting is not investigated. Simply poking around the Internet for 10 seconds looking for information on UFOs will reveal an astonishing amount of sightings. But there is something different about the O'Hare case. In this instance, many employees and a few pilots have come forward and presented United Airlines (where most of the employees worked) and the FAA with accounts of an object hovering over Terminal C. Six of these individuals have spoken with the media under the condition of anonymity. These individuals, although viewing the aircraft from different vantage points, all describe roughly the same account of the visit, including the object suddenly bursting through the cloud cover and leaving a hole behind.

Both the amount of witnesses and their credibility is extremely high. That is what sets the O'Hare sighting apart from most other sightings. These employees are well-trained mechanics, managers and pilots whose main motivation for reporting the sighting was the safety of airline passengers. But even after such a large amount of people risked their livelihoods and reputations to report a UFO, nobody has taken them seriously.

United refuses to acknowledge that any incident ever occurred, saying there is no record of the event. The FAA has chosen not to investigate, chalking everything up to a weather phenomenon. Why?

By ignoring the statements of a multitude of incredible witnesses, the organizations hope the issue will just go away. It probably will. But this is not a viable course of action. There should be an investigation about the sighting, if for no other reason than the fact that objects flying over restricted airspace could cause accidents killing hundreds of people. Maybe it wasn't a UFO, but the public deserves to know their plane isn't going to be blindsided upon runway approach by a weather balloon. And maybe, during the investigation, we find out what visited O'Hare. The truth is out there

FAA's Credibility & Veracity Over O'Hare UFO
by Don Ledger
UFO Date: Mon, 22 Jan 2007 12:56:27 -0400

Initially when the O'Hare UFO sighting occurred, the FAA [Federal Aviation Authority] in the United States declared it a weather phenomenon. Not only was this an ill thought out and silly explanation with no regard to the actual times involved but probably issued by the wrong agency.

The FAA has no expertise in the area of anomalous aerial objects reported by not only the civilian population but by military pilots, general aviation and commercial aviation which involves airliners and air freighters. The real expertise where the aviation portion of the FAA is concerned is with the pilots who actually fly the airplanes not with the civil servants and ground bound employees of the FAA.

Why is it we are always acquiescing to an uninformed authority when it comes to explaining these objects. There are various departments in the FAA that are concerned with aviation regulations and the whole system of air traffic control. The section of the FAA dealing with media relations is peopled by ex-media people.

Other positions in the FAA are populated with supervisors and managers who don't know an aileron from an empennage. Some of these persons are parachuted into these jobs by political representatives who have to pay off a favor to the individuals and reward them with a federal job with the perks and pensions that apply thereto. The same thing applies in Canada at Transport Canada and other federal agencies. Some employees are aviation savvy and are experts in their fields but usually at the technical level where accidents and air traffic control are concerned. They might have the expertise but do not have the ear of the public.

Often policy making at the top levels is concerned with keeping the system of air travel running and making money. Any perceived threat to that trend such as a UFO report at a federally operated and controlled airport is quickly dealt with by the media representatives of the top levels of management not any expert at the FAA. They have no expert in this area.

The response to a UFO report such as that of O'Hare on Nov .7, 2006 is knee jerk in nature and not an informed one. In this regard Jon and other reporters should note that in their articles. Even the weather response had no credibility as informed scientific fact and that too should be noted.

It should have been asked where this expertise came from... certainly the FAA does not process it. This is the purview of the US Weather Service. They have the scientists who are knowledgeable about weather phenomena, not the FAA.

The history should be checked for this phenomenon of the UFO and the study by those informed in this area by the media. The media falls down and frankly dismal in its approach to these reports; often the questions they ask and their attitude toward it are embarrassingly simpleminded. In Jon's case, he at least treated it as a puzzling event - and I was one who sent him one of those hundreds of e-mails he received - praising him for doing so. He took the trouble to issue and FOIA request and stirred up a hornets nest as a result. This attention to detail is not always the case.

The databases regarding pilot reports of UFOs/UAP number in the thousands some of which include highly dangerous near misses and in some cases collisions with these things never mind the on-record incidents of pilots reporting these objects harassing them and then never being seen again with ATC losing contact with them while they on the radio reporting the episode. This is a fact not fiction. This can be a dangerous phenomenon often not reported by pilots because they fear just the kind of nonsense offered up by the FAA for the O'Hare incident.

Often they are made to look the fool. I find it curious and very disturbing that United Airlines have attempted to subvert freedom of speech by ordering their employees not to speak of this incident. A few thoughts in a limited forum.

Best,

Don Ledger

Kelltown Reports a Close Encounter — of Some Kind
UFO Published January 25, 2007 10:30 pm -

Jana Cone-The Tifton Gazette

KELLTOWN — A South Georgia ufologist has reported a sighting of a UFO in a small community between Moultrie and Tifton about a week ago. The UFO was sighted near the community of Kelltown in Tift County about 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, according to Billy Rachaels of Thomasville, who documents UFO sightings for the national organization Mutual UFO Network.

“It was spectacular,” Rachaels said.

Rachaels said the sighting was made of a lone unidentified flying object just at dark along Highway 319 South.

“It was flying at fairly low level,” Rachaels said. “It had a lot of lights. It had a ring around the center of it, like the planet Saturn.”

Rachaels said UFOs with the ring around the center are not seen as often as other shapes.

“It was impressive,” he said. “About 10 to 12 cars pulled over to the side of the road so they could watch it.”

Rachaels, who was born and raised in Thomasville, worked in Tifton for three years at WTIF. “I have been a radio-newsman for 35 years,” he said. He is now retired and documents UFO sightings as a hobby.

“I was working in Tifton during the UFO wave of 1972 to 1974,” he said. “The sightings started near Dawson and eventually spread to 12 states. There were just a lot of sightings.” Rachaels recalled a sighting in 1973 that occurred between Tifton and Ashburn.

“A woman was on Interstate 75 going to Ashburn and all of a sudden her car went dead,” he said. “She had to have her car towed in.”

The woman said she saw a spacecraft and spaceman nearby her vehicle. Rachaels said he spoke with the woman’s mechanic and the man told him the woman’s car engine had melted from the inside out.

“Spacecraft have been known to stop car engines,” Rachaels said.

Around that same time, Rachaels said a UFO was seen in Doerun. It was flying close to the bridge at the Ocklocknee river.

“The spacecraft actually landed in the roadway and blocked traffic,” Rachaels said. “The man who saw that one said it looked like the top of a grain silo.”

Rachaels said he has been documenting sightings for 40 years now.

“I take it very seriously,” he said. “Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan reported seeing UFOs and both Barry Goldwater and Gerald Ford were very interested in the subject.” Rachaels said his first sighting was a daytime sighting in Thomasville in 1967.

“It was going along in level flight, real close, about 2,000 feet above us,” he said. “One minute it was there and then it was gone in a second.” “There was no exhaust and no sound,” Rachaels said. “The craft was smooth, with no openings.”

He said it was shaped like a barbell, long in the middle and round on the ends. “It was shiny,” he said, “like polished silver.” Rachaels said that within minutes the sky filled with U.S. Air Force planes. “I think they were tracking it on radar,” he said.

Rachaels pointed out that not all UFOs are spacecraft.

“Anything you can’t identify is a UFO,” he said. “Lots of people see things that are UFOs but not all of them are spacecraft.”

Rachaels said MUFON “is the most prestigious (organization) in the UFO field.”

“It has been around since 1969,” he said.

Rachaels said MUFON meets the first Saturday of each month in Boston, Ga., at the Boston hardware store.

“We have been meeting there since April last year,” Rachaels said. “Before that we met in Cairo.”

2006-According to the preliminary report by Dr. Anthony Choy, this UFO was photographed by Marco Antonio Zeballos, a member of the Civil Defense Regional Committee (CRDC), when the witness was in the town of Matalaque preparing to evacuate families affected by the volcano. Researcher Choy says that the photo has not yet been subjected to detailed scrutiny. However, in his opinion, there is a high likelihood that it is an anomalous object that crossed the camera's field of view, without entirely dismissing that it could be an insect or bird that flew past quickly, causing distortion in the image. Strange Lights in the Sky Spark UFO Call Frenzy in Carolina
UFO By Jack Kramer

Jan 25, 2007-Look - up in the sky. In South Carolina that was the situation on Wednesday night. After the Chicago O'Hare still unexplained UFO spotting, it appears that all kinds of curiosity has been piqued for night sky viewing. According to Fox Carolina News blue and green lights were spotted in the sky around eight o'clock Wednesday night.

WYFF Channel 4 News also notes in a report on the website that viewers called and e-mailed to report seeing some strange blue lights in the night sky Wednesday. The lights appeared at about 8:15 p.m., according to the reports. Sheriff's offices in the state say they received dozens of calls reporting the lights.

Fox shares this e-mail from a viewer on the website. "I was traveling on Michelin boulevard at the intersection of highway 24 when I saw what I thought was a small plane heading for the runway of Anderson county airport. I realized quickly that it was not a plane but appeared to be something falling. I thought maybe a meteorite."

WYFF4.com reports that while no definitive information is available, WYFF 4 Chief Meteorologist John Cessarich said the most likely cause is a group of meteors streaking into the Earth’s atmosphere.

The color could be an indication of the composition of the meteors, the report claims.

Cessarich said that he was able to confirm there were military helicopters on routine training missions operating in Greenville and Pickens counties on Wednesday night, but there is no indication that those flights are related to the other sightings.

Possible Abduction Attempt Foiled (2007)
UFO A report has come in regarding a UFO sighting that occurred last week above the Niska Bridge in the area of Buffalo Narrows (northern part of Saskatchewan). Apparently a woman was driving to work while it was still dark. As she approached Niska Bridge there was a strange light around her car.

Another car approached from the opposite direction and passed by. The light vanished. When the woman arrived at work she received a phone call from the person who drove by her and was informed that the person had seen a UFO over her car upon approaching the bridge.

So it would seem that there could have been a possible abduction attempt but was foiled when the car approached from the opposite direction.

We are trying to obtain further information from the persons involved. In the meantime, we are asking residents in the area to contact us if you witnessed any strange lights or objects last week.

MUFON Turns UFO Skeptics To Believers
UFO 1/24/07-Valerie Hisam

For 22-year old Kristen Cennington, seeing a UFO was strange enough once, but seeing one a second time turned her into a believer.

Cennington works with the Mutual UFO Network, an international organization that has recently landed its headquarters north of Fort Collins. MUFON, as it's better known to its members, aims to educate skeptics that UFOs do exist and field calls around the globe.

James Carrion, 41, is the newest director of MUFON and has taken the organization to Bellevue.

"We basically listen to peoples' stories that other officials don't want to listen to," Carrion said. "What we find, is that truth is much stranger than fiction."

Carrion has been interested in UFOs since he was boy where he naturally ended up doing field investigations after 10 years with the organization, which has been around since 1969.

Not long after Cennington moved to Colorado in April, she noticed an unusual object in the sky while sitting on her porch one afternoon. The UFO appeared to be floating and when the shiny object shot straight up in the air and disappeared, there was no doubt in her mind that is was a flying saucer.

A few months later, Cennington saw another strange object floating in the sky and this time she thought, "It's coming to get me."

But Cennington's sightings have not been the only ones in the state, and in fact there are tens of thousands of UFO sightings all around the world each year. With the help of organizations like MUFON people are able to report any odd behavior and have an investigation take place.

"We have a mission," Carrion said. "It is a myth that only crazy people see the weird; most are competent observers that when they are seeing something that they can't explain and at first try to explain it, that then is when they call us."

Cennington, MUFON's local business manager, admits some callers could be potentially mentally ill.

"We get a lot of weird people and a lot that could be clinically crazy," Cennington said. "But I've realized it's not safe anywhere; it's all over the world. I didn't use to think about how an alien could come take you away."

Although Cennington has only worked with Carrion and MUFON for a few months, she is already a believer in the paranormal, while Carrion calls himself a skeptic believer - meaning that although he has never seen a UFO, "there is something to this phenomenon but I just don't know what it is.

"There is one of two things going on: One, either we have a higher intelligence controlling things and we don't know how extraterrestrials exhibit technology greater than ours. Or two, the government has exotic technology that we would like to be shared, but they are secretly maintaining it from the public."

But not all groups that study UFOs believe in the extra terrestrial life or the government-control theory. According to the Committee for the Skeptical Inquiry, not all answers are aliens or the government.

"We try to provide the alternative point of view," said Barry Karr, 41, the executive director for CSI. "With all of the TV shows today about aliens visiting the planet, in this particular category of UFOs, we look at the claims and reports to see if there are other explanations that should be touched upon."

But for Karr, it isn't a matter as to if people are actually seeing UFOs, it is more a matter of the evidence that says that there is extraterrestrial life out there. Karr said that there is "no question that people are seeing things," but he just can't accept that they all have to do with aliens.

So are aliens really visiting Earth?

"I think it would be great if we did have evidence of life visiting us, but right now, we haven't got enough evidence that there is something visiting us from other planets," Karr said.

For Carrion and Cennington, other life out there is 100 percent possible, and they are just waiting for the phone calls and emails so that they can go and investigate another sighting.

"(Working at MUFON) has definitely changed my perceptions of UFOs," Cennington said. "It has changed my perspective of what's really going on and what possibly is most definitely going on. There are the possibilities that you never really thought about before."

"There's thousands upon thousands of people seeing the same things, so there has to be something going on," Carrion said. "This isn't fiction, it is truly life imitating art where the truth is stranger than fiction, and some of things in our case files are way stranger than folks can imagine."

French to Reveal UFO Secrets
UFO By VINCE SOODIN-January 25, 2007

UFO sightings in France are set to be revealed - exciting paranormal enthusiasts in the UK. The archive of over 1,600 incidents will be released by France's National Space Studies Centre (CNES) and has led to calls for the UK to publish all its sightings. The highly-anticipated online archive was due to go live this month but has now been delayed until at least March, said the space agency.

Nick Pope, former head of the Ministry of Defence’s UFO projects division, said the France archive could track the paths of unidentified flying objects across the Channel.

Nick said: “I really welcome the French move. There is a huge interest in UFO sightings. It will be great to see if there are reports in there which relate to classic UFO sightings.”

Nick believes an online archive should be published here and claims that many reports gathered by the Ministry of Defence are still kept under wraps.

He said: “There is a lot of files which have not seen the light of day. If the MoD published them, it would be a huge step forward.

“I don’t believe there is a cover up but the MoD leaves itself open to that accusation.”

However the MoD said it has released information on sightings on a annual basis. A spokesman told the Sun online: “We regularly receive Freedom of Information requests on UFOs and these are published in full over time. The MoD said that based it remained “open-minded” about the existence of extraterrestrial life-forms.

But added: “To date we know of no evidence that substantiates the existence of these alleged phenomena”.

Yesterday CNES told the Sun online the launch of its archive, dating back 30 years, would be delayed.

A spokeswoman said: "The archive is not online yet. It will be in mid-March."

The archive - likely to be revealed on the CNES website - consists of around 6,000 reports, many relating to the same incident, filed by the public and airline professionals.

Earlier this month agency official Jacques Arnould said: "Often they are made to the Gendarmerie, which provides an official witness statement and some come from airline pilots."

Columbia-UFO over Nobsa (Boyaca)
UFO The Journal of Hispanic Ufology - January 20, 2007

DATE: 01.20.07-Some locals claim that the objects had lights, were shiny and changed colors. An expert cautions that they weren't terrestrial.

Jose Guio, a plastic arts instructor whose workshop is in Dichó, in Nobsa (Boyacá) was taking photos of the sky at 4:30 pm on December 31, 2006 when his eyes fell upon an elliptical object like an (American rules) football, crossing the sky.

It was easy for Guio to focus on it with his camera lens. According to him, it floated in a single place for 40 minutes and then moved slowly toward a mountain known as Cruz de Aranda.

Guio's eyes weren't the only one to see a UFO over the municipality's airspace.

Ramiro Barragán, the town mayor said that he had seen two figures similar to the one described by the teacher "suspended in the air" on January 7.

He was at a vineyard located at Puntalarga at 3:30 p.m., and was able to see through binoculars that the object changed colors. It shifted from yellow to black to white. Adolfo Zárate, former secretary of Development for Nobsa, was another witness. "It spun on its axis and was orange-colored. Then another object showed up," said Zárate,

On January 7, the alleged UFOs also flew over the Duitama bullring near Nobsa. Several fans of the "corrida" at the local fair saw 3 glowing objects in the sky.

Alvaro Bonilla, a member of Contacto Ovni Colombia - an organization devoted to this phenomenon - traveled to Nobsa to collect information and after analyzing the photos claimed that they were non-terrestrial objects. "This is evident from their characteristics and the way they flew."

This could perhaps have something to do with an alleged magnetic power concentrated in the region's mountains. According to Jaime Vianchá, an Nobsa historian, a team of engineers climbed Cerro Gavilan five years ago, next to Cruz de Aranda (where the majority of the objects have been seen) and the compasses they carried with them went haywire. Rafael Garcia, an official with Ingeominas, added that there are no reports to certify this theory.

For the time being, the residents of Nobsa are happy that their municipality, aside from tourists, is also visited by ETs.

Full Description & Details

It was one warm summer Friday around 10:00 PM in the evening in California's Santa Clarita Valley. I was brushing the swimming pool with a long pole and attached brush so that the kids could swim the following day. The pole requires you reach up to push down. I was standing on a high platform next to and overlooking the pool and about 4 feet over the rest of the pool area. As I reached to upper end of pole, I saw a craft approaching the house from about 1-2 blocks away and from the West and heading South East.

I knew right away that it was not a helicopter or plane. It seemed flatter and wider and with lights in a circumference of the main frontal area. I ran towards the house and called my family to see it. Only my wife came out. By that time it was directly over our house and pool. It was approximately 75-100 feet above us. We stood along side of the pool deck. It made no sound whatsoever, and it was at a complete stopped over us for about 40 seconds. The only motion was a slight wobble and when it moved and tilted downwards at an angle. I took this as some form of acknowledgment. During the entire time, we were frozen in disbelief. It is a strange sensation knowing that what you are seeing is not supposed and very foreign. It was like seeing a Greyhound Bus floating over your house!

The craft was about 75-100 feet in diameter. It had small porthole and lights around it in the upper dome section, it was solid, metallic and shiny. There was a dome in the upper section attached to the body with no visible separation, as if it were molded as one solid craft. The under section was concave towards the center and had two rectangular shapes along side each other and the length of the concave under-section.

The rectangular shapes were about 7-10 feet in width and as along as the craft's concave underside center. I also noticed ski like devices on the front and on each side of the front leading edge window.

What caught my attention was that the devices were not in the center or the "center of gravity" for the craft's length and design but very forward. The skis were S shaped with the top of the S facing forward but a design I could not replicate. Upon the craft leaning in a downward motion we could see a window or cockpit like glass that was situated in the underside, it was on the front lower edge of the round craft. The rectangular window was approximately 4 feet in height and possibly 12-15 feet in length. There was a glow of soft orange and blue lights from the inside but we could not see anyone or any controls.

It remained at a forward and downward angle for about 10 seconds. We both had the sensation of being watched. As it was angled, I noticed that light was emanating from the upper section that was not facing the swimming pool lights. Thus, it seemed to generate light through skin of the craft as the lights that first attracted me faced forward and were much lower than the upper section of the craft.

My wife and I did not say anything to each other during the experience but she kept saying "oh my God" over and over again. The craft then left slowly at 30-40 MPH. I jumped on a wall around our property to continue seeing for at least 7-miles. I instructed my wife not to discuss it, to draw what she saw and then we would compare drawings. They matched, although mine had more detail and accuracy.

My background include Group Propulsion Systems and later as an executive with several major computer companies. What we saw was close, real, solid, and a beautiful designed craft. I know from my aeronautical engineering background that mankind has no such technology

New Mexico-Craft without Wings
01-24-07-I was walking my dog just a few yards to the South of South of Skyline Road NE in Albuquerque ,NM at approximately 9:05 am. to 9:25 am.At approximately 9:13 am,I happened to look up to my 11:00 position above my head I saw ,what I thought was an aero plane, except I couldn't see any wings, traveling in a Northeast to Southwest direction at approximately 15,000 feet. The weather was very clear with no clouds in sight. As I watched to see if I could see the wings, the object disappeared.

Once again,NO CLOUDS or anything else to obstruct my view. There was no discernable sound coming from the object, but I can't swear to that because a Southwest Airlines jet was taking off from Albuquerque. Int.. Airport and was swinging around to head on a Northwest heading taking it pretty much right over my head.I did not see any lights associated with the object and it looked like a fuselage of dull grey with no wings. It did not reflect the sunlight, which was very bright at the time. The other thing I remember was that it appeared to be starting to bank to the South and that is why I was looking for shadows of wings or a tail when it "disappeared" from full view, still at the approximately 11:00 position. source: www.mufon.com

North Carolina-Lights Form Triangle
December-2006-Twice I have seem orbs in the night sky once about 3 years ago. the lights were moving and zipping around each other, as if they were playing a game. All of a sudden they formed a triangle. In that triangle appeared to be energized with electrify or something. Then they disappeared.

The second time was 1 month ago. we were coming home from an appointment. it was dark already approximately 7:30. I kept seeing these funny looking lights, real bright white. very odd glow. We would travel a few miles and them would be ahead of us then behind us. As if they were looking for something. we were on a straight road by the way. They finally disappeared. After being at home for a while, i decided i would look out at the sky. to my amazement the lights, closer now were in the sky toward the west, the direction that we had come from. I stood on my porch and watched to see if they were planes or what. The lights all moved together. They did not move straight, but were as if a large triangle in the sky turning around. If indeed this was a solid object i would say it would have been 100x100x100 feet, very large.

PS I am a person that watches the skies, and I have seen many things that I can't explain from what seemed to be a shooting star, that stopped and went back out in space, to what looked like a enormous red flare pass over my house. source: www.mufon.com

January-2007-"My kids and I were coming home after church last night in the Matthews area. We did see a greenish like light low in the sky, we really thought a small plane or helicopter was going to crash at first. This was around 8:00pm. We watched as it went down, I was even waiting for a crash, but ofcourse there wasn't one. We didn't 911, but I can't wait to tell the kids when they get home from school that we weren't the only ones who saw it. Wish we did get a picture."

While I was driving down Catawba Ave. in Cornelius around 7p.m. last night, I noticed a really bright light in the sky and it disappeared within seconds. I assumed that it was a airplane since there are flight paths over our town. This light seemed brighter than a plane though."

"My wife and I were leaving our development off of Rocky River rd last night around 8:00.I looked to the sky and saw a blue/green light. It quickly disappeared. Both myself and my wife saw it and thought maybe it was some type of flare."

"I was on 77 around 8 pm last night and I was just passing under th overpass for the exit before 85 and I saw a green light that that was dropping to Earth heading my direction. I saw it for a couple of seconds, and then just like fireworks, it started to blink and then dissapeared. I saw something very similar about 3 years ago over the Bi-Lo on Prosperity Church road. It was a bright green light that just fell to Earth." source: http://www.charlotte.com/mld/charlotte/news/breaking_news/16544483.htm

Texas-Star-like Object
01-25-07-Me and my dad were just leaving Murphy's gas station located on the Wal-mart store property when I noticed a star like light to the west, around 200 feet in the air and around 2 to three miles off. We were headed to Quanah on north 287 and once we were on the highway, I aquired the object again and watched it as we left town. I watched as much as possible and after a few miles, I concluded it was moving parallel to the highway had moved to about five miles off the highway. I had to go through Chilicothe, Tx about 15 miles from vernon and reaquired the object on the other side of town and now it seemed only about 1 1/2 miles off the road.

As we were aproaching Medicine Mounds outside of Quanah, I pulled over and filmed the object for a few minutes, trying to get a close up but could not hold the camera still but managed some footage. I noticed it slowly moving off and we got back on 287 and headed for Quanah.

As we neared Quanah it's attitude lowered to the point of only being around 100 feet, still heading West, but was changing hues still having a constant light with never a flicker such as aircraft do. We took a side road and went around the south edge of Quanah as fast as I dared with my Dad in the car, but when we cleared the town lights we could never reaquire the object even though the land dropped off giving a clear veiw of the horizion. the one thing I concluded was it travelling around the same speed as we were aproximately 68 to 70 miles an hour cause it never gained on us till we stopped. I only once before had seen a similar object, but was to far off to intercept and at lease wanted to get a few frames of this one, sorry but I don't have a TV card to down load them to my computer maybe later. but this is the first time I've taken the time to tell anybody of my sightings, yes I have some more and one day I'll tell y'all but not tonight.

Seeing this one really stired some feeling and if my dad had not been with me I think I could of intercepted it and got a good picture but I have got to start somewhere. I hope someone else confirmed this one, I just know it did not act like a plane and flew very slow for an aircraft as I watched it for thirty miles before It took off. source: www.mufon.com

Virginia-Object Hovers over House
Clifton, Virginia UFO Sighting by Norman Gagnon 23 March, 2005

Classification: Hynek CE1 - Vallee Type 1a

In the midst of a midnight thunderstorm, a woman is awakening by strange clicking sound that is emitting from her bedroom's phone answering machine. Shortly after she rose out of bed, the entire house went totally black from an apparent power outage. Curious to see how the weather condition was on the outside, she gingerly walked over to her front door and opened it. As she looked up, she was astonished to see what appeared to be a very large object hovering over a neighboring house upon a hill. As the UFO begins to rise upward, a lightning bolt flashed and in the blink of an eye, it vanished!

On March 24th, I received an email from a Clifton man pertaining to an extraordinary sighting that his wife witnessed the night prior. His email indicated that his wife got up around 12:30 AM, and shortly after, a power outage took place. He also added that she opened the front door to see the rain and wind conditions and saw a large, oval object hovering over a nearby home. The object was bigger than the house and seemed to be at an angle to her view, with the bottom exposed and had lights all around it that were evenly spaced. The next day, I received a second email entailing a slightly different version of the incident, describing what he believed the sighting might have been. He wrote that his wife may have witnessed multiple balls of lightning. I checked with Dominion Virginia Power's electrical outage legend and it showed that there were about 24 homes that lost power in the early morning of the 23rd, within the Fairfax County area. Temperature details during that time period: 44 degrees, cloudy with rain, average humidity 81, wind 13 mph NE. Clifton is located about 20 minutes east from Route 66 and is a national historic district. The Southern Railway runs right through this small town, surrounded by sprawling estates, horse farms, parks, and there are no electrical towers or industrial plants in the area.

A few days later, I telephoned the witness to obtain a little more details from her. As she was observing the UFO, she was facing south towards Manassas which is approximately 4 miles away. The length of the sighting lasted just a few seconds, from when she first saw the aerial phenomenon to the lightning flash. She also noted that the lightning bolt appeared to have been manifested from the ground and traveled up vertically into the space above the house, directly at the position where the UFO was seen. This event took place about 1/8 of a mile from where she was standing at her front entrance. The power returned two hours later.

Canada-Two Reports
North of North Battleford, UFO Hovers Over Barn (2006) - Hi I live in Canoe Lake. It's an hour and a half north of Meadow Lake. I just got your web info and I have an story about my oldest son. He lives 13 miles north of North Battleford on a farm just east of Prince. He came home one night, I'm not sure what time it was, in the spring of last year but when he got close to his house just turning off the #4 highway he noticed a large light not far from his house but thought it might be some sort of plane or something. But when he got to his yard the light was over his barn so he ran into the house to get his video camera. He told his wife and ran out to see if it was still there and it was so he took some video footage of it. I have seen the video. It has a typical ufo glow to it and as the camera tries to focus on it, by the way it's sitting in one spot for the whole time but as the camera tries to focus it actually focuses on it for a second so it is within the focus distance of the camera then it just for lack of a better decription implodes to nothing. I'm sure he still has the video. Thank you to the witness! We would definitely be interested in seeing that video.

North of Buffalo Narrows, Triangle UFO Above Highway (2006) There's a friend of mine up here. He is an (withheld by SPPRC Inc.) in Turner Lake. He was going home about or before Christmas when he seen this ufo. We were playing cards when he got brave enough to tell us. His wife was aganist it. Anyway he said he was just a few miles north of Buffalo Narrows when this huge triange shaped ufo slowly crossed the highway in front of them then stopped. It didn't have sharp corners he recalls but it was triangular. So he stopped to look at it. His wife was terrified as he was trying to get her to look at it too. It was colorful like other sightings then it just left slowly, continued on its way north I think. Can't remember what he said but he also said as an (withheld by SPPRC Inc.) he gets alot of reports from people in the Laloche and Bear Creek area. Thank you to the witness. We would definitely be interested in hearing from your friend! source- http://ufoconnectionradio.spprc.org

Great Britain-UFO and Plane
01-22-07-I was walking towards the field when a plane in the air caught my eye, as I looked towards it another bright light caught my eye. The weird thing was that the ufo was going considerably faster than the plane. As I was watching the ufo,it was flying towards the plane. when the ufo reached the plane it stretched and the out of nowhere it seemed to merge into the plane. After watching that I did not see the ufo again. I AM CONVINCED THIS WAS A UFO. source: www.mufon.com
