POLAND: Dozen of Triangular UFOs Seen over Warsaw
UFO Warsaw [Mazowieckie], January 20th 2007, 1 - 2 am. On 20th January 2007 between 1 and 2 am. about 17 unidentified triangular objects appeared in the sky above Polish capital city district of Sluzec. According to the witness, Mrs. Jolanta Z. [53], triangular objects scattered in the sky remained in her view for over an hour, slowly rising up and finally disappearing.

At about 1:15 am. the woman living in a block [in vicinity of a airport Okecie] in Mokotow district, Mrs. Jolanta Z., woke up to smoke a cigarette. At one moment her attention was drawn by a light visible in the sky. The woman who is accustomed with view of landing planes after a while noticed strange behavior of the object that seemed to be suspended in the sky.

When she approached the window, she was amazed with a sight of a dozen of triangular objects. The woman claims that at first she was able to see 17 or 18 identical objects in shape of isisceles triangles scattered in the sky [with their “beaks” pointing eastward]. One of them [located in the southern part of the sky] was noticeably bigger [the witness estimated that it was in dimension of 3 smaller objects].

Each triangle possessed 3 red lights located in the corners, with a line of bluish point lights connecting the red ones. "They were as if suspended in the air. They seemed to be in formation. It seemed to me that one must see another one" - she said. When the woman realized that she is witnessing a probable UFO manifestation she decided to call NPN organization hotline, leaving two voice messages containing the story of the sighting.

The woman also mentioned strange behavior of her cats and dog. When she went on the balcony along with her animals they became scared - her dog began barking. After some time she decided to notify her neighbors and friends calling some of them but most refused to get up rejecting her proposal and didn't pay attention for the woman's revelations. Unfortunately she wasn’t also able to took a photo of the phenomenon.

"It was an unusual phenomenon but I wasn't afraid of it" - she said. At the moment of sighting the weather conditions were good, with rare clouds visible in the sky. The whole formation remained suspended in the sky without noticeable move.

At the moment Mrs. Jolanta Z. is the only one witness of the event. The research is ongoing.

Alien Images: UFOs, Photography and Belief

March 8 – August 15, 2007

Opening: March 8, 4-6pm Admission is free and food will be provided

The ASU Museum of Anthropology is proud to present the exhibit, Alien Images: UFOs, Photography and Belief, opening March 8, 2007. Through a series of large photographic prints, projections, movies and books, the exhibit will explore the 137 year history of photographic images purported to show Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) and the rich variety of interpretations used to explain them.

Since its invention in the mid 19th century, photography has been used to capture evidence of mysterious phenomena, from spirit entities and unusual creatures to strange things in the sky. The images are extraordinary, but the question we each have to ask is this: What are these images evidence of? Over the years, all manner of opaque, glowing, spherical, saucerial, and tubular UFOs have been caught on film. The idea that photographs can exist as documentary evidence of the world has made capturing UFOs an important part of proving their existence. Yet, photographs are not always what they seem. A wide variety of interpretations have arisen to explain UFO images. Skeptical explanations include: fraud, misidentification of natural and man-made phenomena or camera/film/print problems. Other explanations find evidence for otherworldly realities, including: extra-terrestrial craft, secret government technology, angels, inter-dimensional beings, time-travelers and deities.

Acting Curator Scott K. Murphy holds an MA in Cultural Anthropology and is an MFA candidate in Photography in the School of Art at Arizona State University. Over the past ten years, his research has focused on beliefs surrounding otherworldly or sacred photographic imagery as well as non-mainstream religious belief systems.

We will be hosting a press preview of the exhibition on February 28th, 2007, at 6 PM. PLEASE R.S.V.P. if a member from your organization will be attending, so we will be aware of how many people to prepare for. R.S.V.P. by February 21st, to anthro.museum@asu.edu.

Letters to the Editor... Area 51
UFO RE: Area 51

Your site is very interesting. I just wanted to comment on the so called area 51. I have been in the Air Force for quite a few years, and can tell you that all T1 projects have been moved from the area to a much more secure area in Nevada.

Area 51 will soon be unlisted as a top-secret test site, as most highly sensitive work has moved to another site. A lot of the photos are military aircraft and not UFOs.

The new area is located in North Dakota. Area 51 is still very much alive, but mostly for avionics and guidance systems, most of the advanced air frames are tested elsewhere. There has been too much attention to Area 51, this was the reason for moving some of the tests to other locations. I know the name given was simply T1. The technology at both sites is nothing more than beyond belief.

**************************

Responses:

I would like to respond to the anonymous author who has personal knowledge about Area 51. I have a friend whose brother is an Electronics Engineer for the NSA. Although he will not divulge any details of course, he does assure us that the micro-chip technologies currently in use by the NSA are ten years ahead of anything on the open market. Such is also true of most science and technology. We should remember that the Pentium 60 was used as the core in a missile control circuit, five years before it was made available to the consumer market.

Those who choose to believe stories such as those perpetrated by Bob Lazar, et al, should look more closely at what we do know to be facts. Facts are not opinions or interpretations. Facts are based on irrefutable evidences.

I was an Air Traffic Controller for the USAF, stationed in Berlin, Germany during the height of the 'Cold War'. I was trained in all aircraft flight characteristics. Meaning, that if we had "it" or they had "it" I could most definitely identify "it".

I observed several anomalous radar targets, on separate occasions, proven to exist, by a top secret and totally separate radar system than to the one under my control. These "bogies" or "foo fighters" as they were still then known were no glitches in the radar equipment. They outperformed the SR71 or the so called Foxbat and any MIG for that matter. I urge your readers to accept on good faith that I am telling the truth. They were Unidentified Flying Objects. They do indeed exist.

**************************

I admire your Web page for its open philosophy. You welcome all sorts of opinions, whether or not they are factual is left up to the reader. It is interesting that the astronomer, Halley, whom the comet was named after, was actually frightened by the possibility that if the comet infringed our atmosphere, it might release organisms in its frozen ice, into our world. After studying electron microscope photographs of mere Dust Mites, I wondered if they might have stowed away deep inside some meteorite that crashed into someplace on Earth.

Back to Area 51. The anonymous author stated, "The technology at both sites is nothing more than beyond belief." Does he mean that it is incredibly advanced or does he mean it is quite believable? I invite him or any others to write to me at julian_schmidt30@yahoo.com. I am not afraid of men wearing black suits! Once again my compliments to you and your web site. If nothing else you provoke readers to keep looking up. Perhaps they may see something, even if it is only moths flying through a spotlight!!

Julian Schmidt

Hi,

Love the site. I appreciate the work you put into it.

I am writing this to point out that the letter you posted says Area 51 has been moved to a more secure site in Nevada and then goes onto say it has been moved to North Dakota.

Although he contradicts himself in the same letter I must say North Dakota is a joke. There is a reason that Area 51 is in Nevada and that reason is weather. Nevada is a arid, warm climate which would prove to be the optimal in testing experimental aircraft.

North Dakota is frozen 6 to 7 months out of the year. In the summer it is oppressively humid. I'm sorry, but I have to call BS on that letter.

Thank You,

Sam

Re: Photograph from Germany 2004

Hi B J, sorry that I can't tell you what it is-UFO maybe? I have seen this type of craft before.Back around on a Saturday, Oct/Nov 2005, I have seen something similar over Toronto, Ontario. Time would be between 12:30-1:30 p.m.

had been sky watching near Lake Ontario .I witnessed a craft shaped like a futuristic black jet or space craft. The size would be three quarter the size of a commercial airliner. It was moving through the clouds at about 10-15,000 ft .

It had speed similar to a jet, as I watched it for near 40 seconds. This object went out of sight in the deeper clouds. I can tell you that this sighting was a new one for me. I had never seen this type of craft before. Although ,these things do come with diversity of shape, size, and light. Just an observation of what I have seen. Nice photo--take care

Paul

That looks to me to be classic triangle (Germany 2004). And as you explained on radio the shape differs on every angle depending on which angle you are viewing.

Also agree with you on the Phoenix Lights 97/2007 cases, they're not flares!

RE: Air Force Colonel Sighting

Hi there,

While the Colonels images aren't so great as the claims he has made, I still think the objects photographed might be of extraterrestrial origin.

The phenomenon he reported and photographed remarkably resembles the coloured spheres in a woodcut by Hans Glaser, depicting an UFO battle over Nuremberg, Germany in 1561. The formations the Colonel reported could be the cause of spheres docking onto their mother ship as seen in the woodcut.

More about the "battle": http://www.ufoevidence.org/cases/case486.htm

Hi folks,

If I had to guess, I'd say a bird flew through the frame from left to right, and it's wings were on the forward "stroke" when the pic was snapped. Interesting photo though.

Keep up the great work guys.

RE: Las Vegas Video

Regarding your Las Vegas sighting, last year I stayed at the Luxor hotel and witnessed the same experience. I am also very interested in the UFO sightings and continue to check the skies. What was witnessed in Vegas were birds that dive into and out of the light.

Chicago Phenomenon Rekindles UFO Debate
UFO February 17, 2007-On Jan. 2, the Chicago Tribune did something extraordinary for a major newspaper: It ran a UFO story on its front page. The newspaper reported that in the late afternoon of Nov. 7, 2006, a gray, egg-shaped object was observed hovering over Gate C17 at Chicago O'Hare International Airport.

The object was unusually low (below the 1,900-foot overcast ), remained visible for several minutes, and was observed by several mechanics and various United Airlines ground personnel. The object eventually disappeared straight up through the overcast by reportedly "punching a hole" through the clouds.

Observer descriptions of the object are remarkably consistent. It had no wings or lights. Its surface appeared metallic but with a soft luster that shone "like a pearl." Several witnesses reported a haze around the bottom of the object akin to heat waves off a hot road. One witness in an airport parking lot said that the object appeared to be spinning counter-clockwise. She also said that a small crowd of fellow observers were pointing up at the object and that several were taking pictures with digital cameras. The Federal Aviation Administration first told the Chicago Tribune that it had no knowledge of the alleged incident but then quickly reversed its position after the newspaper filed a Freedom of Information Act request.

The agency now claims incredulously that the November sighting was some (unspecified) weather-related phenomenon. Sure.

Even more troubling, United Airlines continues to deny the incident entirely despite the fact that several of its employees maintain that they filed written reports on the sighting with their company, including drawings. United Airlines employees further state that they were instructed by their employer explicitly not to talk about the incident.

In defiance of the company gag order, however, one United mechanic told the Tribune: "It definitely was not an (Earth) aircraft."

UFOs are a 60-year-old mystery made even more mysterious by decades of absurd government denials that anything truly mysterious is going on. UFO proponents say we are seeing space ships from other worlds, while debunkers say eyewitness testimony is remarkably inaccurate and that almost all reports are misidentified natural phenomenon or man-made objects.

Who is right? Draw your own conclusions from just two of the earliest secret, official UFO government documents released under the Freedom of Information Act.

On Sept. 23, 1947 Gen. Nathan Twining, commanding general of the Air Material Command, sent a then-secret memorandum to Brig. Gen. George Schulgen at the Pentagon, stating that "The reported phenomenon (the flying disc) is something real and not visionary or fictitious. There are objects the shape of a disc ... with operating characteristics such as extreme rates of climb, maneuverability ... and action which must be considered evasive when sighted or contacted by friendly aircraft or radar.."

One month later, on Oct. 28, 1947, Lt Col. George Garrett prepared a so-called Intelligence Collection Memorandum for Air Force Intelligence which listed some commonly reported features of flying discs: "The ability to group together very quickly in a tight formation when more than one aircraft are together; evasive action ability indicates the possibility of being manually operated, or possibly by electronics or remote control; and under certain conditions the craft seems to have the ability to CUT A CLEAR PATH THROUGH CLOUDS ..."

It is apparent that technical analyists for military intelligence had concluded as early as fall 1947 that some "flying discs" were real, intelligently controlled, unexplainable objects that could be evasive and even cut a clear path through clouds, precisely like the reported disc-shaped object over O'Hare International Airport.

Will the Chicago UFO incident currently unfolding be the beginning of the end of the 60-year government cover-up?

Armentano, a Vero Beach resident who has published several books on antitrust policy and has written commentary and reviews for newspapers, magazines and journals on various public policy issues, has been following the UFO controversy for 40 years.

Hole in the Ice Fuels Speculation about UFOs
UFO February 15 2007 at 02:31AM-Riga - A hole in a frozen pond in northern Latvia achieved unexpected notoriety on Wednesday as rumours began circulating that it was created by an object falling from outer space.

"We've been collecting information on the story all day, and we'll definitely report it in the morning," Inguna Plume, editor of local newspaper Ziemellatvija, told reporters.

The "unusually large hole" appeared in the ice of a frozen pond near the northern Latvian village of Karki in early February, the Leta news agency wrote. Despite sub-zero temperatures, the hole reportedly did not freeze over for two days.

Locals initially reported seeing "strange things" in the area.

UFOOne girl said that she had seen "a small bright object with a silver ring around it", while other witnesses reported seeing up to six symmetrical beams of light emerging from the pond.

When the existence of the mysterious hole became known, the theory that it could have been created by an object falling from outer space began to gain credence, Karki spokesperson Sandra Pilskalne told Leta.

Scientific experts admit that the hole could have been created by a falling piece of interstellar debris, the news wire added.

The mysterious hole has now frozen over, but water samples have been taken for testing, Pilskalne said. Representatives of Karki council were not available for comment when approached by reporters. - Sapa-dpa

Unknown Object in Photograph from Germany, 2004
UFO

I took this picture on April 8, 2004, in Waldbronn, Germany while visiting friends. I was on my friends balcony just taking a picture of the view and I didn't see anything at the time when I took the picture.

I don't remember hearing a airplane or seeing one. I had a laptop with me that I would transfer all my pics over to every day and that's when I noticed the picture had a object in it.

I zoomed up on the picture and it kind of looked like a airplane but I can't tell for sure and like I said before, I can't remember seeing one when I took the picture. Maybe you guys could confirm if it is a airplane of not.

Thanks,

R. T.

He believes in UFOs. Do you?
UFO Dhananjay Khadilkar-Saturday, February 17, 2007 22:58 IST

Have you ever seen an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO)? A trick question, isn’t it? If you respond with a ‘yes’, chances are people will say you’re bonkers. It’s safer, then, to assume that any suspicious looking thing moving in the sky is some exotic military aircraft and pay no serious attention to it. But hold on, there is a gentleman out there who believes that not only do such UFOs exist but that the encounters experienced on earth are intentional leaks by advanced extraterrestrial civilisations.

Meet 65-year-old Alfred Webre, author, lawyer, space activist and futurist, who has an unflinching belief in the existence of intelligent extraterrestrial life forms. He was also the principal investigator of a civilian scientific study of extraterrestrial communication undertaken by the White House, Pentagon and Stanford Research Institute (SRI) during Jimmy Carter’s regime. Webre, who was in Mumbai recently, spoke exclusively to DNA on the subject that has fascinated mankind for years. As an appetiser, Webre lists the compelling reasons behind his belief. “After studying the huge database compiled on UFOs and following interactions with a number of air-traffic controllers, military, intelligence and Federal aviation personnel, there can be no doubt that many UFOs have been non-Earth objects,” he says.

As an example of the presence of extraterrestrial activity, Webre quoted an unusual phenomenon that was experienced by Soviet Space Agency officials.

“The then Soviet Union had sent a space probe to Mars’ satellite Phobos. However, preliminary verifications using photographs showed that the probe was mysteriously shot down. High ranking Russian officials and President Eisenhower’s advisors believed that Phobos was an artificial satellite,” Webre added.

Besides, Webre has been motivated by the Drake equation which hypothesises that the number of civilisations could be more than one and the string theory which talks of extra dimensions and parallel universes.

The UFO phenomenon though is not restricted to mere sightings. “Contact by UFOs is a grassroots education program for humanity,” Webre says. He further adds that there are technologies like anti-gravity and time travel in the possession of certain governments that have been transferred by extraterrestrials. Webre is a proponent of the Exopolitics model which states that the Earth is an isolated planet in the midst of a populated universe.

“We live in a populated universe in which our planet has been quarantined and this is no random event. The quarantine was lifted in 1947, the year from which the UFO phenomenon began in full force around our planet,” Webre says.

As per the quarantine hypothesis, Earth’s humanity is not yet sufficiently evolved to be included in the universal society. In this model, life-bearing planets such as earth are members of a collective universe that operates under universal law. This model states that life was planted and cultivated here under the stewardship of more advanced societies, in accordance with the over-all principles of universe ecology.

So when will this quarantine end? Webre believes the militarisation of outer space by humans may be the single most important factor preventing the end of Earth’s isolation from civilised space society.

“Humanity may not be permitted into Universe society without an absolute ban on warfare and weapons in a jurisdiction ruled by the standards of a common universe government,” he concludes.

Sheriff Blinded by Light from UFO; Minnesota-1979

August 27, 1979-Deputy Sheriff Val Johnson of Marshall County was on duty that night, driving not far from the North Dakota border, when at around 1:40 a.m. he saw a light through his side window. It was obviously not on a road and looked too glaring to be a car headlight. He first thought it might be a small plane on or very near the ground. He turned left on another road to try to get closer to the light to identify it. Suddenly, the light moved toward him, travelling so fast that it almost instantaneously was upon his car (covering an estimated mile and a half). Johnson was blinded by the brilliance of the light and heard glass breaking, then lost consciousness.

When he returned to consciousness, the car was stalled and had skidded across the highway. He felt sluggish and shaky. He radioed headquarters, at 2:19 a.m., to request assistance. Soon another deputy arrived, who called an ambulance. The doctor who examined Johnson found him to be in a mild state of shock. His eyes were irritated as if Johnson had suffered "mild welder's burns," and Johnson couldn't stand to be exposed to any bright lights.

The patrol car had very peculiar damage. The inside headlight on the driver's side was smashed but not the one to its immediate left. There was a flat-bottomed circular dent on the left side of the front hood, about a half inch in diameter, close to the windshield. There was a crack in the windshield on the driver's side, that ran from top to bottom, with four apparent impacts. The electric clock was running 14 minutes slow, as was Johnson's wristwatch. The shaft of the roof antenna was bent over at a 60-degree angle, starting about 6 inches above its base. The trunk antenna was bent over at 90 degrees, but only near the top. No damage occurred to the car's regular antenna on the front hood. Essentially, all the damage to the car occurred on the left, or driver's side.

Investigations occurred immediately, both by the sheriff's department and by investigators from the Center for UFO Studies. The police determined that Johnson's car traveled about 950 feet after the first damage occurred. No cause could be found for the event, including collision with another vehicle or a low-flying plane, a hoax on the part of Johnson, or anything else. In addition, experts from Ford Motors (the vehicle was a 1977 Ford LTD) and a team of engineers from Honeywell examined various portions of the damage.

A windshield expert, Meridan French, from Ford, noted after examining the windshield fractures that "Even after several days of reflection on the crack patterns and apparent sequence of fractures, I still have no explanation for what seem to be inward and outward forces acting almost simultaneously. I can only [conclude]... that all cracks were from mechanical forces of unknown origin." No cause could be found for the clock running slow, the peculiar antenna damage, or other physical traces.

Fortunately, Johnson's eyes healed quickly, and he suffered no lasting effect from the close encounter.

Val Johnson's own words...

"This is Deputy Sheriff Val Johnson... I report in connection with an incident which happened August 27th, 1979, at approximately 1:40 a.m., western section of Marshall County, approximately ten miles west of Stephen, Minnesota. This officer was on routine patrol, westbound down Marshall County Road #5. I got to the intersection of #5 and Minnesota State #220. When I looked down south #220 to check for traffic, I noticed a very bright, brilliant light, 8 to 12 inches in diameter, 3 to 4 feet off the ground. The edges were very defined. I thought perhaps at first that it could be an aircraft in trouble, as it appeared to be a landing light from an aircraft. "

"I proceeded south on #220. I proceeded about a mile and three tenths or a mile and four tenths when the light intercepted my vehicle causing damage to a headlight, putting a dent in the hood, breaking the windshield and bending antennas on top of the vehicle. At this point. at the interception of the light, I was rendered either unconscious, neutralized or unknowing for a period of approximately 39 minutes. From the point of intersection, my Police vehicle proceeded south in a straight line 854 feet, at which point the brakes were engaged by forces unknown to myself, as I do not remember doing this, and I left about approximately 99 feet of black marks on the highway before coming to rest sideways in the road with the grille of my hood facing in an easterly direction. At 2:19 a.m., I radioed a 10-88 (Officer Needs Assistance) to my dispatcher in Warren."

"He dispatched an officer from Stephen who came out, ascertained the situation as best he could, called for the Stephen Ambulance to transport me to Warren Hospital for further tests, x-rays and observation.

At the time the officer arrived, I complained about having very sore eyes. At Warren Hospital, it was diagnosed that I had a mild case of welder's burns to my eyes. My eyes were treated with some salve and adhesive bandages put over and instructed to keep them on for the remainder of the day, or approximately 24 hours. At 11:00 a.m., Sheriff Dennis Breckie, my employer, picked me up at my residence in Oslo, and transported me to an ophthalmologist in Grand Forks, North Dakota."

" He examined my eyes and said I had some irritation to the inner portions of the eye which could have been caused by seeing a bright light after dark. That is all I have to add except to say that my timepiece in the Police vehicle and my mechanical wrist watch were both lacking 14 minutes of time to the minute."

The most complete account of this case is in The UFO Encyclopedia: The Phenomenon from the Beginning by Jerome Clark (1998), Omnigraphics. Arizona-Stationary Lights
01-09-07-Driving, heading east, saw lights in the eastern, lower sky, straight ahead of me. It seemed about 10 miles ahead of me, perhaps above the area of Gold Canyon, AZ. Lights were low in sky, and in a straight line, the far left one going out and coming back on. It did not look like anything I have ever seen before, not man-made. The lights disappeared very suddenly. My 16-year old daughter was with me and we both watched them until they disappeared.

The sky was very dark at this time. There was no wavering of the lights, they were steady and in a perfectly straight line slanted downward to the right, almost a 45 degree angle. And yes, they did look very similar to the recent Phoenix Lights (early February 2007), but these were much closer and more defined and were slanted downward.

Definitely not something dropped by parachute or on fire (flaring). It was stationary in the sky; no movement at all. It was exactly 6:50 p.m., definitely a Tuesday night, I think it was early January. I make this trip every Tuesday night at this exact time and my daughter and I have watched the sky and area each time. I have not seen anything like it since then. source: www.mufon.com

02-09-My wife, two daughters, dog and I were walking west on East 26 st toward our home at around seven twenty PM. It was a clear night. as I walked west with my dog,I suddenly noticed an object that appeared to be a meteor. I called to my wife and kids and we observed the fireball. As the fireball made a descent, it split into two. After the split the two objects stopped in mid air and split into four to six object. one by one each object disappeared in an orderly fashion, and reappeared in a orderly fashion. it was spectacular. a few moments later the objects merged into one object and continued in a south western direction.

Hawaii-Reddish Colored Object
Jan, 2007-Just thought I'd let you know that while we were visiting Oahu this past January, a man & his son were surfing on the south facing shore of Oahu, spotted a reddish -colored object some distance from them, appearing to slowly come closer towards Honolulu. He stated that he felt scared for himself & his son, telling his son that this may be the end of Honolulu, or something of that nature.

It apparently was there long enough for a local tv station, khon, to film it for awhile before it left the area. This happened on Friday, January the 26th. Didn't hear the time of the sighting though. J. R. P.-source: http://ufos.about.com

Indiana-Two Orange Objects
02-08-My friend and I took a drive and remarked how clear the skies were, noted Venus (25 - 30 degrees up from the horizon.) Venus was very bright (white) in the sky. This was approximately 6:30PM (Central.)

My friend and I witness two orange balls (one larger than the other) at 7:05PM (Central.) These objects were moving. These objects appeared to be very near the Monroe City area, we were in Washington driving west. I quickly found Venus which was evident and about to set, these orange balls were not Venus. Each orange ball quickly dissappeared (not at the same time.) We were travelling west on a country road and saw them reappear in a different location. One orange ball was larger and quickly disappeared. When it did disappear I noticed a twinkling at the location it disappeared. My friend and I noticed about 4 - 6 other twinkling objects (which were moving.) From then on we observed frequent (5 - 7 minutes) of orange balls appearing and disappearing at approximately 15 - 20 degrees up from the horizon. During this time you could see the same twinkling after (some) of the sightings. A drawing of the most common observation (two balls) is attached.

Over the next 3 - 5 minutes we observed a series of appear/disappear events with up to 3 orange balls, some very close to the ground (a 3 ball drawing is attached). I then notice an orange ball, low to the horizon, move straight up, sort of bob up and down then disappear. 2 or 3 minutes passed and we saw the large ball appear followed by 4 more in an semi-circle line and another ball appearing(6 at the same time.) Drawing of this incident is attached.

At this time we called Jerry Sievers (Vincennes) of Indiana Mufon (approximatly 7:20PM Central.) At approximately 7:25PM Central we observed one more orange ball appear/disappear much further south (South of Monroe City 3 miles) which was very low in the horizon.

Our last observation was one of the twinkling objects which passed directly over our heads (approximately 1000 feet) at 7:28PM Central. We could not discern a sound and the object had one red light and a swirling strobe (swirling around in a circle). The strobe was very odd and we both commented how (un-airplane like) the strobe was. We could not clearly make out the shape of the object. The object was traveling North. We waited several minutes longer and did not see any more activity (7:45PM Central.)

We must have observed orange balls at least 18 - 20 times over the 25 minutes. Sometimes the balls were stationary, some times they were moving. The largest gap in time between sightings was 4 - 5 minutes. One time a smaller orange ball seemed to be rotating around a larger orange ball before both disappeared. Our conclusion was that we were witnessing a UFO incident. Each time we observed a new orange ball we shouted "there it is, there's another one."

We tried to reason away these objects as flares, meteors and airplanes. The orange balls varied in "orange" intensity. Each observation was different from the previous observation in movement and location. We did not believe they were flares due to the multiple locations (across the horizon) which we viewed these objects and the twinkling after some of the post-disappearance observations. There were no trailing tails as seen with meteors. The low altitude made us certain these were not airplanes especially when the 6 orange ball event (at the same time) happened. source: www.mufon.com

North Carolina-Shiny, Circular Ball
02-07-07-There were several jets that had been performing test flights all day. I had been watching them off and on. Around 5:45 PM, during the last flight, I noticed like a shiny circular ball about 100 feet over the last jet. It followed for about two minutes, and then disappeared straight up into the sky. source: http://ufos.about.com
Ohio-Strange Object in Vee Formation
02-07-My husband and I went outside after dinner to smoke, as we were standing on the back deck of our home we were talking about a recent article my husband had read about all of the "Junk" that is floating around in space due to satellites or whatever. I looked up at the sky towards the south and thought to myself how clear the sky was and how beautiful the stars were that night. Out of the corner of my eye I saw this strange object appear from the East.

I immediately said to my husband, "What is that?" He then turned around and saw it also. I can only describe it as looking like a group of birds flying in a v formation. Although I am quite certain it was not birds (at least not any that I have ever seen before). It was a v or triangular shape and had no outline it just had about a dozen bird shaped objects forming a triangle. It was white almost transparent kind of like it was reflecting off of something. It was about two tree lengths high ( I'm horrible at judging distances)

I know that birds do not fly that high! It was also extremely quiet. No noise whatsoever. It headed towards the west and then after about five to ten seconds it was gone it just disappeared. The sky was very clear so I know that it didn't go behind a cloud. My husband and I were speechless and then the reality hit us of what we had just seen. He told me to go into the house right away. He was so alarmed by it that he went and got his shotgun out of the gun cabinet and put it beside the bed that night.

Neither my husband nor I believe in UFO's or aliens however, I know that what we saw Wednesday night was not normal. Believe me we have tried to explain it away. My twelve year old son is the one who encouraged me to report this. He found this web site so that is the only reason I am reporting this. I have included my e-mail address please help me to "make sense" of this because believe me I could probably be staring an alien in the face and still be saying I don't believe in them. Hopefully there is some kind of scientific explanation for what we saw. Thank you for your time in reading this. source: www.mufon.com

Oklahoma-Object-No Wings
02-07-I was in my car driving east when i came to an intersection and stopped there to make a left turn. while stopped I noticed a spherical object moving across the sky from north to south slowly at maybe 45 degrees above the horizon. I thought to myself,"what is that?" as I continued to observe the object I did not think it was a UFO, I simply tried to figure out what it was and I could not fit it into any familiar category that I knew of. I thought perhaps it is a bird, but as I kept looking I could not detect any head or wings or feet or tail.

It appeared as a distinct spherical object moving at a steady pace, not fast. the side of the object that was towards the sun was very shiny like polished metal. the side away from the sun looked dull grayish. at this point I could not tell how far away it was or how high. then I saw a large bird in the sky that appeared to be a hawk or a buzzard, or some other large bird. this bird then began flying towards the object as if to check it out. when the bird appeared to be about two feet or so away from the object, the bird abruptly turned away at about a ninety degree angle and flew away and did not return. this gave me an idea of the size of the object, and about how far away it was, by comparing the wingspan of the bird. the object appeared to be very near, and perhaps 200 feet in the air(this is merely a guess) it is hard to estimate the height. even at this stage, I did not think I was seeing a UFO, I was just trying to figure out what it was.

I've seen balloons in the sky, and this did not look like that. balloons usually seem to rise, this object moved laterally. also, it was very shiny. I had to go ahead and make my left turn, so I lost sight of it as I turned north. it was at this point that it hit me how odd this was, I had never seen anything even close to this. at he next block I turned around to go back and see if was still visible. this took probably little over a minute. but when I got back there was nothing to see. I then remembered video I had seen on tv of sightings in Mexico I think of shiny spherical objects, and what I saw was identical to those videos. later in the day when I thought about it, I felt that it was strange that I did not get excited or afraid when I was seeing this. it was like I had suspended judgement and was merely an observer.

As I left the scene of the sighting, I went about my business running some errands and then went to work. I didn't even think about it for a while, until I was at work and I told some people about it. they were all skeptical. I cannot say what it was I saw, but it was so distinct of an object, not fuzzy, or in the sun, or obscured in any way. it was as plain as day. www.mufon.com

Canada-Large Triangular UFO
Summer-2002-Hamilton, Ontario-Myself (an adult) and two other teenagers witnessed a large triangular object hovering just above a large hydro tower. The sun had just gone down and the perimeter had lights all around it.

As we passed by in my mini van I was terrified but intrigued. I couldn't take my eyes off the road too long but, long enough to turn away for a moment. When I had looked back again we all saw that it had vanished from sight.

My girlfriend soon after told me that in the same area, her and several of her friends had experienced an alien abduction in the late seventies/early eighties. source: www.ufocasebook.com
