...they came from the stars
|
It all began in 1937-1938, in the mountains of Baian-Kara-Ula, the remote, uninviting slopes located on the border that
divides China and Tibet. An archaeological expedition, led by the highly respected Chi Pu Tei, discovered a number of unique cave burial sites. What he and his
team found in these previously unknown caves would soon be considered as something highly unusual. For many it would represent one of the greatest discoveries of the century, and change everything they perceived about their distant past and their origins as a people. Those who believed in the Genesis of the Bible only saw the so-called "scientific evidence" as possible proof of another creation of God intruding into Mankind's domain. By faith, this domain and any other living, thinking beings came from the one God worshiped by Christian and Jew alike. |
More discoveries made deeper in the connectiing caves eliminated the possibility that apes had lived there. On the walls carved pictograms of the heavens were found. The Earth, the sun, the moon, and the stars were there, and all were connected by pea-sized dots. It was obvious that the pictures were meant to be a map or chart of some kind, and that they were created by intelligent beings.

The team then made what was called "the most incredible discovery of all."
Half buried in the dirt floor of each cave they found unusual disks, originally referred to as "odd stone disks" and described as
"obviously fashioned by the hand of an intelligent creature." These disks were approximately nine inches in
diameter and three-quarters of an inch thick. In the exact center was a perfectly
round 3/4 inch hole, and etched into its face was a fine groove spiraling out from the
center to the rim, making the disk look like some kind of "primitive phonograph record."

Shortly after World War II, a Polish professor named Lolladoff showed one of the 'stone disks' to British scientist Dr. Karyl
Robin-Evans, who helped bring the story to the western world. Lolladoff claimed to have bought the disk in Mussorie in Northern India and that it was supposed to be from a
mysterious people called the "Dzopa" (or "Dropa") who had used it for religious rituals.
Robin-Evans would follow the trail of the Dropa to its origins, and was able to take a rare photograph of the Dropa leaders in 1947. His visit with the Dalai Lama was legendary, and provided a wealth of information on the reclusive, unique tribe of people. |

According to Nui, one of the lines of the hieroglyphs read, "The Dropas came down from the clouds in their aircraft. The men, women and children of the neighboring peoples (Ham) hid in the caves ten times before sunrise. When at last they understood the sign language of the Dropas, they realized that the newcomers had peaceful intentions...". Another section of the writings expressed 'regret' by the Ham tribe that the aliens' spaceship had crash-landed in such a remote and inaccessible mountains and that there had been no way of building a new one to enable the Dropas to return to their own planet. In the years since the discovery of the first disk, archeologists and anthropologists had learned more about the isolated Bayan-Kara-Ula area. Much of what they learned seemed to corroborate the bizarre story recorded on the discs. Legend still preserved in the area spoke of small, gaunt, yellow faced men who 'came from the stars, long, long ago'.

Russian archaeologists are puzzling over a remarkable collection of
stone discs, thousands of years old, found in the mountains bordering
China and Tibet. So hard is it to explain them in terms of earthly
experience that the archaeologists do not rule out the possibility
that the discs may have come from outer space.
A total of 716 discs, like Stone Age gramophone records have been
picked up in recent years by men exploring caves in the Bayan-Kara-
Ula mountain range, reports the Soviet Union's new English-language
magazine, Sputnik.
Each disc has a central hole and irregular grooves spiraling out to
the edge, but the report says (quite seriously) that the groves are
not sound tracks. It is thought that they are some form of ancient
writing, but scientists have so far failed to decipher them.

Chinese archaeologists estimate that the discs are about 12,000
years old, but have made no headway at all in trying to explain their
purpose or how they came to be in the caves. The Russians, who have examined some of the discs in a Moscow laboratory, claim to have made two important discoveries. One is that the discs contain certain traces of metal; particularly cobalt. Secondly, when placed on a special turntable they hummed in an unusual rhythm like an electrical charge was passing through them. |
For several years, nothing was heard of the disks. Then, in 1974, an Austrian engineer named Ernst Wegener came upon two of the disks in the Banpo Museum in Xian. The museum director could tell him nothing about the disks, which had begun to deteriorate, but she allowed him to touch one of them and to photograph them. He did so, but he had only a Polaroid camera with him. These photos are the ones that we see often reprinted today. In 1994, when Hartwig Hausdorf was in China, he asked the current director of the Banpo Museum about the disks and was told that they had disappeared.
In 1995 China released the following news report::
"In the province of Sichuan, which lies on the eastern border of the Baian-Kara-Ula mountains, 120 people of a previously ethnologically unclassified tribe have been discovered. The most important aspect of this new tribe is the size of its people: No taller than 3 ft. 10 in., the smallest adult measuring only 2 ft. 1 in! This discovery might be the first hard evidence on the existance of the Dropa/Dzopa - a people whose predecessors are said to have come from the stars."
Today, the isolated area between Tibet and China is inhabited by two tribes of people who, in fact, call themselves the Dropa and the Ham. Once enemies, these two tribes now co-exist peacefully. Anthropologists have been unable to categorize either tribe into any other known race; they are neither Chinese nor Tibetan. Both tribes are of pygmy stature, adults measuring between 3-foot-6 and 4-foot-7 with an average height of 4-foot-2, and body weights of 38 to 52 pounds.
They are yellow-skinned with thin bodies and disproportionately large heads, corresponding to the skeletal remains found in the caves in 1938. They have sparse hair on their bodies and have large eyes that are not Asian in aspect, but have pale blue irises. The Dropa people and their talking stone disks remain as mysterious today as they did in the late 1930s. Many researcher feel that the Dropa stone disks are definitive proof of an alien race that "came from the stars."

Have ETs been visiting the earth for millions of years?
Did our distant ancestors witness UFOs?
Well, according to some serious
UFO researchers there is plenty of evidence to suggest so. Figures of ‘Space
people’ and UFOs, they say, are depicted in ancient cave drawings and can be
found on age-old pottery. Furthermore, they claim many myths and legends, and
even the Bible and other sacred texts from around the world, contain corroborative
evidence for such a startling theory. All we must do, they say, is stop treating
these ancient texts and primitive art forms as works of fiction and over imaginative
nonsense, and start reading them as eye-witness accounts. Have extraterrestrials
been visiting the earth since ancient times?
Well, according to some serious
UFO researchers there's a distinct possibility. And among corroborative evidence
for this startling theory they cite ancient cave paintings, pottery, and sculpture;
myths, legends, and even passages of the Bible and other religious texts. All
we must do, they say, is stop treating these sacred writings and primitive art
forms as made-up stories or nonsense, and start looking upon them as actual
eye-witness accounts.

In According To The Evidence,
Erich Von Daniken, a best-selling author and ancient ET visitation exponent,
tells us about the Dogon, a primitive West African tribe now settled in Mali.
Apparently for thousands of years the Dogon have been telling the same creation
myth claiming that they originate from a distant planet. But even further to
this, the myth they tell encompasses astonishingly accurate knowledge of a dim
and heavy star called Sirius B, which, invisible to the naked eye, was not even
discovered until the 1950s by astronomers using the most modern radio telescopes
of the day! So how could the primitive Dogon have come by this and other such
astonishing astronomical knowledge? Well, Von Daniken suggests that the only
possible explanation is that the creation myth is based on fact and the Dogon
really do have ET connections. |
In Chariots Of The Gods, another of his books, Von Daniken turns his attention to the Bible. He urges us to re-examine many of its ‘stories’ in light of our modern experiences of the UFO phenomenon. In particular he draws our attention to the Old Testament Book of Ezekiel. In this particular text the prophet gives a 6th century account of watching a ‘Flaming Chariot’ descend in the desert beside the River Chebar in Babylon. It was amber, says the prophet, the colour of metal and surrounded by fire infolding itself. Later, he described how four objects came out of the mysterious cloud, each a wheel within a wheel with a ring of eyes; and out of them came four man-like creatures in suits of burnished brass, with crystal firmaments on their heads.
According to some, Ezekiel could well be describing a classic UFO/alien encounter. And to corroborate this theory even further, after reading about Ezekiel’s ‘UFO encounter’ in Von Daniken’s book, a respected NASA engineer, Joseph Blumrich, was intrigued enough to study the account further. He was later quoted as saying that Ezekiel’s UFOs had ‘…very credible dimensions and belong (s) to a stage of technology which modern man will not reach for some decades’!
And staying with the Bible, could even the angels have been ETs? It is said that they were ‘messengers’ of the Lord and came from the skies. UFOlogists remind us that Daniel called them ‘watchers’ and that it's written they were allowed to intermarry and eat human food. And what about Jacob's ladder? In his book In Search Of Extraterrestrials, Alan Landsburg reminds us of how Jacob ‘…began to dream, and look! There was a ladder stationed upon the earth and its top reaching up to the heavens; and look! There were God's angels ascending and descending on it.’ Is it possible Jacob saw ETs using some kind of early space age transportation to and from the earth? And what about that other Old Testament prophet, Elijah? When it says he was taken to heaven in a ‘fiery chariot’ perhaps, some say, this could be contemporary biblical jargon for him leaving earth in a UFO.
Researchers say ancient Indian Sanskrit texts, too, provide valuable evidence for the theory of age-old ET visitations to earth. Many classic Vedic and Hindu writings mention metallic flying machines called Vimanas. It is even claimed that an ancient text exists which details how to build these amazing craft and run pilot training courses! But how could such ancient people have come by the technology to have built any flying machine, never mind such advanced flying craft, you ask? Well, obviously only with the help of technologically superior beings from another world, say the advocates of ancient UFOs.
Cave drawings and primitive carvings from all around the world provide even further evidence, too, say researchers. In Lussac, France, for example, there are ancient wall drawings of figures dressed in what UFOlogists claim could certainly be modern day clothes. The startling drawings were found deep in dark caves. Many of the caves are underwater today, and the drawings are in such a position, it is a mystery to experts how on earth the artists’ even saw to mix their pigments and create the works.

But who were the models for these primitive painters? Who were these contemporarily dressed figures primitive people went through so much trouble to depict? Furthermore, how did they even see to paint the pictures? Did they use mirrors to reflect light back into the dark interiors of the caves? Or did they have more advanced technology?

There are also other drawings very similar to be found all over the world. In South Africa, for example, there is one such painting known as ‘The White Lady of Brandenberg’. This particular lady is depicted dressed in a short pullover, gloves, garters and slippers. Behind her is a male figure with some kind of pipe in his hand and wearing some kind of helmet. The UFOlogists maintain it is impossible for a primitive artist to foresee people wearing such items of clothing. So who were the models for such extraordinary works of ancient art?
According to UFOlogists there are endless examples of evidence of ancient ET visitation on primitive pottery, too. In Gold of the Gods, again by author Erich Von Daniken, there is a photograph of an old Mayan vase depicting what certainly looks like a female astronaut. The flying figure appears to be wearing some of the attributes of the profession- a broad belt around her stomach and an apparatus strapped to her back. Pottery festooned with similar ‘space-people’ exist too, on show, says the author, in museums in Turkey and Madrid.
So, did ETs visit the earth in ancient times? Are myths and legends eye-witness accounts of our ancestors encountering UFOs and beings from distant planets or are they simply fairy stories and not to be believed as truth? When we read of ‘angels’, ‘flaming chariots’ and ‘metallic flying machines’ in the Bible and other sacred scripts, what are we to make of it all? How are we to explain the primitive cave drawings, pottery and carvings, apparently depicting ancient space men and women? If primitive man was simply drawing his artistic inspiration from real life, who on earth were his models for such startling works of art?
Truth, someone once said a long time ago, is often stranger than fiction. If, like some of the evidence proposed by UFOlogists certainly seems to suggest, ancient man really was visited by beings from other planets, the old maxim would certainly prove to be extraordinarily wise and correct.

It may sound more at home in Roswell or on the X-Files, but a skull claimed to belong to a five-year-old alien child will be on display at Gloucester's city museum next month. The strangely misshapen skull was discovered in a cave in Mexico about 70 years ago, and is currently undergoing scientific tests to discover its true identity and background. It is thought that the skull could have belonged to a hideously deformed child, but its owners have continued to argue that no known disease could have caused the odd shape.
The man behind the battle to find out the skull's origins, Lloyd Pye, will bring a replica of the skull, dubbed the "Starchild", and will lecture at Gloucester City Museum on March 22. The real skull is currently in an unnamed laboratory undergoing detailed analysis.
The talk is part of Mr Pye's attempts to raise the funds to have the skull's ancient DNA tested, which will prove if it is of human origin or not.

Alleged alien skulls
The brain area within the skull is larger than that of a fully grown human's, and the eye sockets are of a completely different shape. The bone itself has just 40% of the density of normal human bone tissue, but also appears to be twice as hard.
Mr Pye has now carried the skull around the world to raise the necessary funding to have detailed DNA analysis carried out, but has refused to take part in any commercial activities.
He said: "We can't 'taint' the Starchild with commercial hype or merchandising of any kind.
"To do so would irreparably damage our credibility in the event of a positive result.
"The only acceptable means of obtaining funding for scientific endeavours of this nature is through gifts and bequests."
Most of the money required has now been raised, and the skull is at a laboratory in the UK, where the facilities to unravel ancient DNA exist.

MOOSUP -- It was 4:10 AM, and the witnesses were driving north on Route 395, on March 3, 2003, when they saw a square or triangular shape object. If you place your forefingers and thumbs together -- you will see a shape like this <>. There were lights at each "point" and a band of light blue lights that connected the four. Bright white and blue lights were moving around the craft. The sky was full of stars but in the center of the craft was blackness. I yelled at my husband to stop and go back, but he wouldn't because we would be late for work. He later admitted to being afraid. It was just hovering above Route 14 making no sound. FLORIDA STRANGE LARGE FLYING TRIANGLE
MILTON -- It was about 10:30 PM, on March 10, 2003, the witness was taking out the trash when he had a strange feeling just before seeing a large dark triangle shaped object that was at least 80 feet long. It was about 50 feet wide at it widest point, with a large bluish light on the bottom of each tip of the triangle. The witness states, "I could actually see that the bottom of this thing was not smooth, but had form and small dips and valleys in it like something machine/manmade." I heard a faint hum and was in shock because it appeared to be only about 200 feet high with a blurry haze around it. I looked down to clear my eyes and looked back up and it was much smaller. I looked down again to clear my eyes from the light and looked back up and it was gone. It was like a dream, but I don't think I was dreaming, but I felt impending doom. WEST VIRGINIA -ORANGE COMPACT DISC SHAPED UFO
NEW MARTINSVILLE -- Five men were standing outside at 8 PM, on March 8, 2003, and noticed an orange compact disc shaped object moving very quickly through the air. It had a slight zigzag to it's movement but there was no exhaust trail. There were no blinking lights to indicate an air plane, plus it moved in a way too erratic for any aircraft. The center was not as lit as the outside edges were. All of us saw the shape. At one point, we moved because it was starting to go behind some trees. Three of us went one way, two of us went another. OHIO - BRIGHT LIGHTS IN 'V' PATTERN HANG IN SKY'
CUYAHOGA FALLS -- The witness was taking his dog out at 10:15 PM, when he saw lights in a "V" formation moving quickly and silently on March 3, 2003. He states, "I saw a 'V' shaped formation of 12 to 15 lights traveling very quickly northwest. They were traveling, silently, and in a few seconds were out of sight. The individual lights though staying in formation seemed to flit around. It made me think of a group of clear spheres flying in formation with a single firefly darting around in each one, if you can imagine that.
COLUMBUS -- An ATP-rated Learjet captain was flying as copilot in a Cessna Citation II, on March 7, 2003, at 0515 GMT when he saw three bright lights in a triangular pattern hanging in the sky to the north near Cassiopeia, at an estimated altitude of 45-49000 feet. The witness was flying at 39,000 feet and asked his partner if he was watching? He said yes. The lights were all of a greater relative magnitude than Sirius -- perhaps equaling or greater than Venus in brightness. After about 5 to 10 seconds, the lights began to move eastward, accelerating rapidly and fading from view simultaneously (may have been receding?). No aircraft in my experience has ever accelerated so quickly. We believe it was one object -- though no details could be made out between the lights. It might have been three separate objects but they would have had to have been maintaining a precise formation during acceleration. Both pilots have been flying aircraft for over 15 years, and neither had ever seen anything like this.
MISSOURI - OBJECT HOVERS OVER A FIELD
ASHLAND -- While driving to Columbia MO. at around 10 PM on March 8, we spotted a bright star in the sky just above the tree lines about seven miles away from it. The object did not appear to move and as we got closer it had several white lights. When we came right up parallel to it, the object seemed to be hovering over a field with a protruding spot light. As we passed the object, we turned to view it from our back window. A bright red light flashed on the top of the object and one on the bottom. Then, after a minute or so, the lights began to flash all around the bottom of the craft, which made it appear to be spinning. We continued to watch when all the sudden the craft quickly crossed the highway and caught up with us instantly. It flew close but after a couple minutes the craft disappeared behind the trees. LOUISIANA - TRANSPARENT FLYING TRIANGLES
WESTLAKE -- While on the job on March 4, 2003, two workers observed three craft flying over at a very high rate of speed. We both witnessed the three craft as these objects flew toward the Northeast. The witness states, "What really shocked the both of us was that they were transparent!" I could see the clouds right inside of the craft. Thanks to Peter Davenport
MAINE - A LARGE TURQUOISE COLORED SPHERE
WINDHAM -- The witness was outside at work with others at 5 PM on March 8, 2003, when a coworker called for them to look up in the sky. The witness states, "We saw a turquoise colored sphere moving slowly across the dark sky. It appeared larger than a normal aircraft and the light was much bluer than a typical plane. ARIZONA - BLACK OBJECT SITTING ON THE ROAD
CHINO VALLEY -- On March 5, 2003, A black object was sitting on the dirt road (or hovering just above it) at the top of the hill in front of two observers at 9 PM, who stated, "It was at least as big as a school bus but didn't seem to be made of anything solid." It was like a black and gray cloud that moved like an octopus. It came around to the side of our car and passed over the hood and windshield no more than 10 feet off the ground. It made no sound at all. It followed us for about half a mile and we were spotlighted in a bright, white light that must have been above us. Then it was gone. Thanks to Peter Davenport NUFORC
CALIFORNIA - GREENISH GLOWING DISK FLIES OVER
LOS ALTOS -- Sighting occurred at 1:45 AM, on March 10, 2003, when the witness looked out the bedroom window, there appeared this strange craft. The observer states, "I swear it had the appearance of NCG-1701 'Star Trek' and it suddenly 'poof' -- there it was where there had just been empty night sky." The ship's forward area (the round construction) was glowing a fuzzy lime green, while the rest of the ship was dark -- without lights on the periphery. I would estimate that the size of this thing was very large, in that if I held my hand at arm's length, the object would almost have filled in the space of 4 fingers (thumb tucked). Unfortunately, the sighting lasted for less than 5 seconds because it just as suddenly disappeared -- 'poof'-- again. Thanks to Peter Davenport
WASHINGTON - UNEXPLAINED TIME LOSS ON THE ROAD
WENATCHEE -- The witness was taking out the garbage on March 3, 2003, when he saw a bright light in the western sky at 10:40 PM. The light was too bright and within a matter of seconds the object almost seemed to zero in on me dodging left and right in an unfamiliar pattern at various speeds. I called to my girlfriend to come and see it. As she came to the door we both saw a large circular structure or sphere with bright white lights on the left and right sides, a red at the bottom and a sort of blue or green at the top. The craft traveled about five miles away to 50 feet above my head in probably 20 seconds. I am a retired software consultant. I have been very skeptical/analytical about supposed "sightings" for the great part of my adult life. But what I saw tonight will change my reality forever. My girlfriend is a college student/waitress. She witnessed the event with me and concurred with my description.
COSTA RICA - LIGHTS ON SAUCER DANCING IN THE SKY
MONTEVERDE -- On February 28, 2003, it all started at 1 AM, with five dogs barking wildly, and then they all ran away. "We looked to see what was up, and saw a single blue white light, that had red, orange and green lights spinning around the top." A steady bright white light was at the base. The light was dancing in the sky, making deep drops, and steep climbs, other times staying motionless. When it appeared the light turned to the other side, we could see the outline shape of a saucer. At times the object appeared to send rays of reddish light downward to earth. The light at time seemed bright and focused in our direction, at other times dim and focused away. It was mostly in the southwest sky toward Puntarenas and then south over Panama. Once the light disappeared, the dogs all quieted down.
