Unknown Object Videotaped over Oregon-03-20-07
UFO Submitted to the UFO Casebook-Object observed and videotaped between Eagle Point and White City, Oregon-3-20-2007 about 11 AM.

With my eyes it was first seen as a small, shiny, white dot. I got my camera out and tried to zoom in and couldn't find it. Then I saw the shining again and zoomed in and started recording and it was dark again and then shiny again and then dark again before it was blocked by a tree and I couldn't find it again, about 16 seconds of video.

It was just above the mountains and when I was recording it, it seemed to be moving south. When I watched it on the TV and on computer it appeared to stay in the same place above the same cloud feature. We were on Modoc Rd. headed towards Medford, Oregon and it was east of us towards Eagle Point or White City.

I thought maybe it would turn out to be a plane when I watched it on the TV screen but I still couldn't tell what it was exactly. The truck was bouncing me around and it was hard to keep it on the object and we couldn't pull over because we were working. My husband was with me but he was driving and couldn't see it.

There were no airplanes or helicopters in the area. It was a cloudy day, but no rain. There were no electromagnetic effects, missing time, or smells associated with the sighting.

Witness remains anonymous.

Mystery of Uralian Alien’s DNA
UFO translated by Guerman Grachev

Scientists may soon unravel the mystery of the “Uralian alien,” a tiny creature found near the town of Kyshtym in the Urals. Scientists carried out five series of laboratory studies investigating the DNA samples of the creature’s biological material. The latest study conducted by a Moscow-based Institute of Forensic Medicine produced sensational results.

“A gene discovered in the DNA samples doesn’t correspond with any genes pertaining to humans or anthropoid apes,” said Vadim Chernobrov, a coordinator with the public research center Kosmopoisk.

“No gene samples available at the laboratory match the gene. The experts in DNA research haven’t come across any creatures with such an elongated DNA molecule,” Chernobrov added.

Scientists have been looking for an explanation of the Kyshtym phenomenon for more than ten years.

The story began in the summer of 1996 after a miniature creature was found in the Chelyabinsk region. The find was soon dubbed the “Kyshtym alien.” A local medical examiner who performed an autopsy concluded that the dead body was neither human nor animal in nature.

Ufologists regarded the Kyshtym dwarf as a clear-cut case of the extraterrestrial. The clergy believe the dwarf was a demon.

The creature was still alive when it was found by an old and barely literate woman. She was the only one who gave the dwarf a human name – Alioshenka (a diminutive of the Russian name “Alexei” – ed. note).

The curse of Alioshenka

The dwarf from Kyshtym did not do any harm to anybody while he was in the land of the living. Some really weird things began to happen following the death of the creature.

The old lady, a “godmother” of Alioshenka the Alien, died in a hit-and-run accident. The woman was knocked down by a car just a few days before a team of researchers arrived in the town from Moscow.

The body of the dwarf vanished without a trace.

An investigator assigned to the case is reported to have handed the corpse to some perpetrators who walked off with it.

A Japanese TV crew arrived in Kyshtym to do a documentary on Alioshenka. The Japanese posted a reward of $200,000 for information on the whereabouts of the stolen creature. However, their attempts to locate the body of the dwarf ended in failure.

A minute piece of the dead body was the only hard evidence the Japanese somehow managed to recover. The Japanese displayed the object for the benefit of the cameras.

Academician Mark Milkhiker looked into the Kyshtym phenomenon on location. He carefully examined the area in which the dwarf was found. Milkhiker fell seriously ill shortly after he returned to Moscow. He died of a sudden heart attack while in hospital.

The above Vadim Chernobrov was also taken ill four years after the discovery of the dwarf. A mysterious disease paralyzed him from the waist down.

Doctors were unable to explain the cause of his disease. It was Chernobrov who found a piece of fabric used by the old lady for wrapping around the dwarf on the day she found him.

Were all those misfortunes a coincidence? Did the alien really put a curse on everyone who tried to solve his mystery?

It is clear that Deguchi Masao, a producer of the Japanese documentary on Alioshenka, fell victim to his own naivety that borders on idiocy. What did he do? He promised to pay cash to locals who could share their memories of the dwarf with his crew.

Needless to say, the news spread across the town like wildfire. Dozens of bums and drunkards formed a long line around the house where the Japanese were interviewing “eyewitnesses.” It took the producer a while to realize that all those incredible accounts of the event were a fake.

I have been following the Kyshtym phenomenon since it came to light in 1996. I visited Kyshtym several times to get firsthand information from those who were part of the story.

Now it is about time I dusted off my old notebooks containing real eyewitness accounts so that we can separate a few grains of truth from a collection of assorted conjectures and speculations.

I am quite confident that the mummified body of the creature is not a myth. There are numerous witnesses who saw the dead body of Alioshenka. Major (Ret.) Vladimir Bendlin, a former investigator with the police department of Kyshtym, is the most important witness.

On a rainy summer morning the police detained one Vladimir Nurtdinov, a local resident suspected of stealing electrical wire.

The police confiscated a bundle the man was carrying. Having removed a piece of red cloth from the object, the police were amazed to see a small mummified body of a strange creature.

The police placed the corpse on the cloth and videotaped it. Bendlin noticed on the spot that the creature looked like an alien, in a way aliens are usually portrayed in sci-fi movies. The creature looked stone-cold and lifeless. It felt the same by touch.

Bendlin opened investigation into the case of an “alien.” A dead body found under the circumstances normally entails a police investigation.

In line with regulation, the police were supposed to determine the cause of death of the strange being.

Doctors and experts

Igor Uskov, an urologist with a local hospital, was on duty on that day. A telephone rang in his office about midday. He burst out laughing when policeman on the other end of the line told him the reason why his services were required.

“The dead body of an alien? Stop kidding me, will you?”

“Doctor, you’d better take a look at it yourself …”

Dr. Uskov was the first medical professional to examine the body. He reckoned that it might as well be a human fetus aged some 20 weeks. Dr. Uskov asked his colleague Irina Ermolayeva, a gynecologist, for a second opinion. Dr. Ermolayeva agreed that the body looked very much like an underdeveloped fetus expelled from the womb prematurely i.e. a miscarriage.

The doctors’ verdict was music for Bendlin’s eyes. Everything was falling into place.

The strange thing was not an alien any more; it was a human fetus, yet another case of illegal abortion.

The investigator had dealt with several cases of illegal abortion before. He expected to close the case right after getting an autopsist’s opinion.

Bendlin hoped that the autopsist would tell him that the fetus was either stillborn or too underdeveloped to live, and therefore the case would be not be a matter for further investigation.

Stanislav Samoshkin, a chief of morbid anatomy department at the Kyshtym hospital, didn’t smile and make cheesy jokes about aliens when the policemen brought the creature to his office.

He performed a thorough autopsy on the body of the dwarf. And then he announced that the creature was neither a human being nor an animal. According to him, it was some new life form.

I met Dr. Samoshkin several years after the Kyshtym dwarf caused a worldwide sensation. According to him, he never doubted the conclusion he reached on that day.

“The creature was not by any means a human being. The human skull consists of six bones. The skull of that creature was made up of 4 bones. There were other differences in the skeleton structure. Those anomalies didn’t look like any congenital malformations known to date,” Dr. Samoshkin said.

More On Release Of French UFO Files-No Secrets Here
UFO I met, for a second time, with Jacques Patenet, the engineer in charge of GEIPAN, the new French service of UFO studies at the French Space Agency CNES - Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales, or National center for Space Studies - and I can give some more information on the release of those UFO files.

We talked at a TV debate ("C Dans l'air"), recorded yesterday, airing tomorrow, Friday, March 30, on the French national network France 5.

Some more information, and some corrections of what has been already reported:

The name GEIPAN means Groupe d'Etudes et d'Information des Phenomenes Aerospatiaux Non identifies, (Group for Studies and Information on Unidentified Aerospatial Phenomena). It was created in September 2005, to replace the SEPRA which closed in January 2004. Also put in place at that time, a steering comittee (COPEIPAN) presided over by Yves Sillard, former director of CNES, and comprising about fifteen members, whose names are not known.

In January 2006, Jacques Patenet announced that GEIPAN was going to put all its UFO files on the web site of CNES, during 2006. The project had been delayed but has now begun with the release of some 400 files this monthh, covering the period 1988-2005.

Initial inquiries by CNES began in 1977 on the creation of the first service called GEPAN, but there are files from the fifties, and even one from 1937.

There are a total of 1,650 files, including some 6,000 testimonies, and a volume of some 100,000 pages, A4 format (not 100,000 files, as stated somewhere!).

This month, Jacques Patenet has given a number of interviews, in which he warned that we are not going to find any new big case. The best cases, such as Trans-en-Provence in 1981, are known already.

However, there is new information worth mentioning. The number of unidentified cases after serious study (the "PAN D" category), is now estimated at 25 to 28% (depending on the day ot the interview, apparently). This is much more than previous figures. In recent years, it was given at around 13%. So, the revision of the files has at least brought this bonus for French ufology...

Two main ideas are being put forward by Jacques Patenet, in several interviews. First: "There are no secrets, and we are releasing all the files. Our purpose is to put to rest allegations of UFO secrecy. Second, the extraterrestrial hypothesis is conceivable, but there is not the slightest solid proof for it, or against either."

For my part, the point I want to stress is that, yes, these files at GEIPAN are not "secret" files. They are mainly sightings by civilian witnesses, gathered and reported by the Gendarmes - the military police. If there are really secret files in France, they are somewhere else, probably of military nature. At the debate yesterday on French TV, we pushed him a bit on that question, and he had to admit it. So, his first statement is somewhat misleading, in fact. If there are secret files, he just does not have them!

I also want to correct another mistake, seen in the Sunday Times article of March 25, "Spooky... They Start a UFO Website Then it Crashes". It mentions the COMETA Report (without naming it), published in 1999, as being a publication of the French government, at the IHEDN (Institut des Hautes Etudes de Defense Nationale). It had been said by some people at the time, but it is not true. This report was from a private group, the COMETA, even if its true that it had been encouraged at the beginning by the head of IHEDN, General Norlain.

In all, I think that we can consider that publication of French UFO files as a very positive effort, wich has already the effect of renewing interest for UFOs in the French media, and perhaps of putting France back on the map of ufology!

Seven Photographs Submitted from France of Unknown Object
UFO I am located in France, at Brest in Britany. This morning (30/03/2007) I was taking photos of the sky (in burst mode) (see attatched cropped photos) don't really know what it is, seems to be flying a bit high and fast for a bird (I have also attached one of the 7 photos but not cropped and not compressed).

I was using the following digital camera Sony dsc H2 and the time stamp of the 7 photos go from 8:25:36 AM to 8:25:40 AM. It just seems to disappear and does not go any further than that last photo.

While taking the photos I did not see anything, it was when I was looking at them on my computer that I noticed the object. I couldn't hear any particular noises (except the vehicles on the main road). Anyway I will be doing more photos to see if the thing comes back around the area.

What do you think ?

Eyewitness Recalls Alien Abduction / Missing Time
UFO First I'll give you the missing time incident.

In November of 1964, my best friend (Robert) and I were returning home from a dance in Perryton Texas. We were teenagers and for the record didn't drink or do drugs. It was near midnight as I remember and fairly clear. Robert was driving and we had just gone through Stinnett. As we topped the hill and headed into the Canadian River Canyon it became very cold and an intense snowstorm began.

Our visibility dropped to zero. I was trying my best to help Robert navigate the road. Then I awoke the next morning around seven in the drivers seat with Robert in the passenger seat. We were parked in front of Robert's house-I lived two houses away. We were both confused and had no memory of what had happened but I KNOW I wasn't driving. I went home exhausted and went to sleep.

I grew up on the Texas Panhandle and it was common to see UFOs. I'll try to share more now.

I am now near 60 and my earliest memory of UFOs and aliens is when I was around seven. At that time I also started to have dreams and memories of floating, flying, and levitation. I remember standing in a very large cavernous underground base. I am holding the finger of a being that I would consider to be a grayish tint and feminine. I am not afraid and feel somewhat secure. We are watching a spaceship (disc) being loaded. I remember long tunnels going off in each direction.

Somehow and I don't know how, but I know this base is under the Canadian River. I remember how busy and easily they seemed to load the ship. Being young, it seemed very large then, maybe 200 feet and a silvery pewter color. Yesterday I was speaking to my sister about my experience and unsolicited she mentioned that her experiences started at about age seven.

She remembers floating out of our home and on to a ship. She was taken to a place that she began to call the "safe place", because she was told it would be safe in the event of nuclear war. I asked her where it was and she said under the Canadian River. I have several brothers and sisters and as soon as I can I am going to ask them about any experiences they might have had.

My next memory is riding in that very space ship or one like it. I remember being allowed to touch the controller that lurched the vessel forward. It seemed to lean forward and skittered about as it began to move forward and just as quick it began to fly smoothly. I can still feel the sensation of the odd acceleration. It was explained to me how the propulsion system worked-there were three engines and they worked off gravity and anti-gravity. I then started having missing time episodes, with the longest being the one I told you about.

Another odd thing is that I had a lump behind my right ear for years, up into adulthood and then it disappeared. I also remember that while I was six or seven my mother had a small piece of what looked to be a crystal removed from her thumb. I remember that she didn't know how it got there and I watched the doctor remove it.

About ten years ago I went to the dentist to have some work done. Understand, I have never had a cavity in my life until then. He made a comment about the filling and root canal that showed up on my X-ray that he hadn't seen before and wanted to know when I had it done. I told him I had never had a root canal or a filling and I don't think he believed me. A few years later, I had another X-ray and there was no longer a filling or signs of a root canal. I believe these to be some type of tag.

Pat

Silvis, Illinois Woman Claims to Have Seen a Triangular UFO
UFO By Anthony Watt, awatt@qconline.com

March 28, 2007 7:32 PM-At first, she thought what she was seeing was something ordinary.

"As I pulled out of my driveway, I noticed it," Theresa Sinclair, 58, Silvis said. "I thought it was an airplane that was very low."

It was about 6:30 a.m. March 23, and Ms. Sinclair was on her way to her job at the Rock Island Arsenal. What she saw through the open window of her car was a triangular shape in the sky, with bright red, green and white lights along its edges, outlining the shape. When Ms. Sinclair first saw it, the triangle appeared to be over a high-rise building at the intersection of 10th Street and Crosstown Avenue. She couldn't say what distance it actually was away from her, but it appeared big. She said she then looked away because she was concentrating on driving west on Crosstown, but when she looked up again, it was moving -- fast.

"It just, like, zipped to Jewel (grocery store), then it zipped to over by Colona Road," Ms. Sinclair said.

She stopped her car at the intersection of Crosstown and 10th Street and got out to have a better look.

"I decided I was intrigued at this point," Ms. Sinclair said. "Then I looked up, and it was gone." The whole episode only took three or four minutes, she said. The whole time she observed the object, she did not hear anything like the sounds of jet engines or helicopter blades. It appeared to stay the same distance away from her the whole time.

"I heard nothing, I heard nothing at all," Ms. Sinclair said.

And apparently neither did anyone else. Local and federal authorities, including the National Weather Service, the Federal Aviation Administration and Quad City International Airport said they received no reports of anything odd in the sky during that time.

Ms. Sinclair said she did not report it either. "I was just so taken aback by it," she said.

She did tell some of her co-workers about it, though. Jokes about little green men ensued.

"You laugh, but stranger things happen," she told them.

The next day, Ms. Sinclair went out at the same time, but did not see anything. There wasn't a second show. She said Wednesday that she's not on any medications, had not had any alcohol, nor suffered any recent blows to the head. Many officials, and some local astronomers, also could not or, in some cases, would not, explain what she saw.

"Chances are she wasn't seeing what she thinks she saw," said Black Hawk College professor Richard Harwood, who teaches geology, geography and astronomy.

He said that Saturn and Jupiter would have been visible in the sky as bright stars that morning. It's possible one of them could have appeared moving because Ms. Sinclair's vehicle was in motion.

"In her case, who can say," Mr. Harwood said. "Nobody else saw it, it's hard to tell."

When asked what she thought it was, Ms. Sinclair replied with a laugh that it was an unidentified flying object, or UFO.

But then she added, "I can't say."

"I would like to have been able to say it was a plane or a weather balloon," she said. "But I don't know. It was unidentifiable."

Series of UFO Sightings in Michigan
UFO I have been witnessing something in the western sky (mostly) for weeks. Consistently, I have had many of my family members and some friends observe these sightings as well. I am only asking what is going on? I check in on reports on many UFO sites and have finally relented to submitting this as I am noticing some stories are exactly like or very similar to my own experience. Many are coming from southeastern Michigan.

I live in Hell, Michigan, a bit northeast of Ann Arbor. I swear I am not exaggerating any of this. I am going to give you the major and constant sighting and add a few notes afterward.

In the evening hours, at dusk a bright star appears in the western sky. It is a brilliant white star. It usually appears (I've not seen it fade in, and believe me, I watch for it) at about 25 degrees to begin with, then will move to about 40 degrees in the western sky. I, as well as my witnesses assumed it was a brilliant planet, or star, however, it MOVES. It is not stationary or in the same area, just the general position in the sky each night. It basically hovers and will slowly descend or ascend or move slightly toward magnetic north, and back. I have only seen it move away or fade away into the WNW twice. It will stay in the sky for hours. It has been appearing almost every night for no less than one month. I observe this "star" with binoculars. It seems to have a teal or blue green tinge to it sometimes. It also seems to change shape, like it is fluid. I have also noticed it form an "o"... hollow out, so to speak, keeping its brilliance but assuming a dark center. Some evenings it pulsates, bright to brighter, not strobing, or flashing on an off. If this were a satellite, it needs reprogramming as it is not stationary and it does not follow any set route. It is sporadic in its altitude and the length of visibility is not consistent. It has NOT been in the sky on average once a week.

Along with this object, orange, or reddish orange satellites are often present. They seem to approach this light from all directions. The busiest I've witnessed was one evening when I counted no less than seven smaller, different sized objects in the sky at once. Twice. So the commencement of these "fleets" from all directions occurred twice in one evening. While observing these objects through binoculars the orangish lights behave unlike anything I am accustomed to seeing in the sky.

I can focus on one and while I watch it, it will blink out at reappear still within my sight but not where it was. Almost as if I were seeing flashing lights dispersed around a larger object. I have not seen anything solid between the points were these lights appear. It is almost as if they are moving in and out of a veil. Or one step forward, two back...

I get the notion they may either protect this brighter star, or it is a homing point for them. I have also watched the smaller lights merge into one another, or meet and one just disappears. Occasionally I see someplace around the "satellite" orbs an oval display of blue/white small, definitely undetectable without binoculars, spinning at a specific distance.

Meaning these spinning ovals stay in one area. We have heard military jets zoom this area at very strange times in the very late evening into the early morning hours. One occasion got us out of bed as it sounded as though it were going to crash into the house! It made our chests vibrate and we watched in awe some kind of jet approach from east, fly over us to the west, turn and come back, circle the area toward the east again though not out of sight then take off and disappear into the southwest. It was patrolling or something....we just don't get that activity in these parts.

I have also observed this light in the eastern sky, at about forty degrees, and beginning much earlier than the western sky object. This, too, has the orange/red satellites but not as many. About six weeks ago after checking on it (eastern sight) it suddenly, and without noise quickly and purposefully moved off to the north until it was lost behind the tree line. It returned later that evening around one AM.

This past Saturday (March 17) I did a check out my bedroom window (east) as there was the regular activity in the other direction already. To my amazement I watched a bluish/green/white light approaching just above the tree line moving due south and descending behind the trees. I was using my binoculars although they wouldn't have been needed as it was that close (less than quarter mile) and I could still see it moving just behind the trees and then it stopped. I was sober. If I'd not seen it in the sky I would have convinced myself that a car was driving in the woods (where there isn't a road) and stopped with its lights on.

A curious note about this light is that it was elongated vertically. Within one minute a second followed the same course however once it went behind the tree line it was just gone. The first could be seen pulsating in the trees for thirty minutes.

I live in a residential but rural area (we are on a lake) and I know my neighbors are already wondering who the heck I'm watching so I cannot observe for long stretches of time, fearing someone will call the police. I have to check throughout the night.

This is a very very small town and an "everyone knows everyone" community. I know I cannot be the only person on this lake witnessing these events. The glowing star is out again tonight. I watch the constellations moving past it. I know it isn't a plane. I don't sleep too well anymore. I am amazed, intrigued and want to know what is going on!

I'm sorry for the length of this letter. I have other details and events I would love to share but I'm not sure how this will be taken so I'll stop with this.

Peace

1994-UFO Sighting of Flight AF-3532
UFO On January 28, 1994, at the beginning of the afternoon, the crew of Air-France flight AF-3532 (Nice to London) observed an unusual phenomenon. UFOCOM asked some questions to the pilot and commander of the flight, Jean-Charles Duboc.

INTERVIEW OF COMMANDANT DUBOC:

You were a flight commanding officer at AIR France and on January 28, 1994, you have encountered an unusual phenomenon as you were doing the Nice to London flight 3532. Could you tell what you witnessed?

I was indeed commander of flight AF-3532 of January 28, 1994, with copilot Valerie Chauffour, and 24 passengers on board.

I have kept a copy of the "OCTAVE", which is the data-processing follow-up of the flight and I can specify that above the Paris area at the altitude of 11700 meters (FL 390), the outside temperature was of minus 59 Celsius degrees, and with a wind from the North-West had a speed of1 80 km/h (311°/101 kts). The visibility was of more than 300 km (150 Nm) and the cloud cover consisted of altocumulus. The flight encountered no air shakes. The navigation was under excellent weather conditions, in spite of the facing wind of almost 130 km/h (70 kts). That gave us a ground speed of 650 km/h (350 kts). The takeoff hour in Nice was 00h56PM UT and the arrival hour in London 02:13PM UT.

It was a particularly calm flight, without particular problem. We arrived above Coulommiers when a steward who was in the cockpit noticed an object which he thought could be a weather balloon. This object was then seen by the copilot and myself a few moments afterwards.

According to their description it seemed to have a variable form and to come very quickly across our road. I first identified it like an aircraft facing us, at approximately 45 km (25 Nm), at an altitude of approximately 10500 meters (25 Nm) and at an angle close to 45°. I found this slope absolutely abnormal because aircraft are not inclined at this altitude beyond 30 degrees without risking to fall down. This object seemed to us then absolutely abnormal by its size which seemed immense, its dark red color and of the fuzzy edges. I had the impression to observe a gigantic lens in evolution. It did not resemble anything we had seen in our flying careers.

This object, this phenomenon, remained motionless while we left it on our left side, still at an approximate distance of 45 km. We observed it during a good minute, conscious that we were seeing something utterly anomalous. We continued to observe it when it gradually merged with the environment. We saw it becoming translucent, transparent, diluted in space. That was absolutely amazing.

After some interrogations we contacted the control center of Rheims to announce this unidentified object to them, as we are required by air transportation regulation.

Was this "object" tracked by your instruments? What about he black box of flight 3532? Were the communications between your aircraft and the control center in Rheims recorded?

Our ON BOARD instruments are not intended to locate other aircraft.

The airborne radar is only intended to locate storms in order to be able to avoid the air movements ascending and descending, associated with them, characteristic of these clouds, the cumulonimbus. During this event the radar was not in operation, as it is only necessary in instrument flying (IFR).

In the same way, the black box cannot in any case detect aircraft or phenomena far away from the plane. On the Airbus 320 there is a first recorder which is the Quick Access Recorder (QAR). It records only flight parameters, speed, altitude, mechanics, engines, electric, etc. It is analyzed by the maintenance service.

The second recorder, the DFDR, has the same recordings but must support the constraints of an accident. This recorder is analyzed only if a crash occurs or on request of the crew. As no parameter of our flight has been modified, the tapes were not analyzed because it would have been pointless. The UFO was at nearly 45 km of our aircraft, and there has been no electric or magnetic disturbances.

On the other hand this UFO was approximately 10 km above Paris, and the Parisian people, under layer of clouds, were much closer to the UFO than we were. If there had been electromagnetic disturbances, a few million people would have noticed it.

The communications were always preserved, and it is the same for the main TV and radio shows!

Which were the continuations of this affair, at a professional and personal level? Have you been interviewed by the civilian or military authorities?

In the immediate, the continuations were non-existent, because I did not submit a written report to avoid being ridiculed. It was three years later, as I read an article from Paris Match, which described how a UFO has been detected above Paris, that I made the connection between this UFO and that what I had seen.

I then submitted a report to the Gendarmerie Nationale (French police, having an SOP for collection of UFO reports).

Was your testimony transmitted to the SEPRA? Which were the continuations brought by this branch of the CNES?

My report was transmitted by the Gendarmerie to the SEPRA, and the UFO Committee, was created within the framework of the Association of the Former Auditors of the Institute for the High Studies of National Defense (IHEDN). I was heard during nearly one hour and half by the group chaired by General Denis Letty. After discussing about the observation, we concluded that the object was approximately 300 meters in diameter.

I took note of the radar recordings by the CODED (Operational Center of Air Defense). There is a very curious characteristic for the trajectory of the UFO, as it shows that it would have almost collided with us. The minimal distance on the recording is less than 1 Nm, that is to say 10 seconds of flight.

This kind of observation is traditional in electronic war. The modern military aircraft are furtive, and at the same time able to synthesize a virtual image of themselves by delaying the radar echo. If a missile had been drawn on this UFO, which was above Paris, it would be our A320 which would probably have been hit by the missile.

I think that it is not desirable to shoot fire at this kind of phenomenon.

Did you speak again of your observation with your colleagues of flight 3532? Which is, now, their feeling about this affair?

I never found the steward who was in the cockpit. My various requests to find the list of the crew for this flight were left unanswered by the of the commercial flight crew personal management (PNC). I had indeed four crew in two days, and I did not keep the lists of the members with me, because they are on the on board documentation.

On the other hand I have reexamined the case several times with the copilot who has a very precise memory of the event, and who wrote a report for the gendarmerie (police) of the Charles De Gaulle Airport.

I can only suggest you asking them about their feeling now.

During your pilot career, have you heard from colleagues or other air personal, of similar phenomena?

I barely speak about this encounter, and I had the surprise to note that about one out of ten pilot had observed a unidentified flying phenomenon.

Your testimony appears in the COMETA Report, page 11, which has been published in a special edition of the VSD magazine, this summer 1999. Were you interviewed by this association? What do you think of this report, from a general point of view?

As I said, I was actually auditioned by the above mentioned UFO Committee, which took shape in an association named COMETA. I have recently met Mr. Denis Letty along with a friend who is flight commander on the Concorde, responsible for the training of pilots at the General Management of Civil Aviation (DGAC), in order to study a regulatory possibility to have a reports form for UFO observations on the board of all French airliners.

Their report seemed to me extremely well conceived, written by high level personalities, and constitutes a reference for UFO question. It still has some restricted diffusion because this subject is still one of the three great taboos of aeronautics.

The first taboo is the cosmic radiation on aircraft. From May 2000 on, the flying personal will have to carry a dosimeter and the amount of radiation received each year will be measured and calculated according to the recommendations of the project SIEVERT which is developed by the General Management of Civil Aviation, the Institute of Protection and Nuclear Safety (IPSN), the Office of Protection against radiation Ionizing (OPRI), and the Observatory of Paris-Meudon.

Flight crew of aeronautics, as well as astronauts will be soon classified among the people who receive amounts of radiations on their workplace. The amount of cosmic radiation received by passengers or members of flight crew during a Europe to US trip and return trip is similar to a lung radioscopy, and this fact is carefully hidden to the crews and the passengers since nearly 35 years. Indeed, a recommendation of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), back in 1964, requested that the airlines take measurements of on board radiations on airliners. A modification of the European regulation in May 2000, European directive 96/29 of May 13, 1996, divided by five the maximum amount of radiation applicable to the public, which will be able to take only 1 millisievert per year, instead of five. The airline pilots, hostesses, steward receive between two and five MVS per year, which is more than the majority of the workers in nuclear power plants.

This taboo will disappear when the information circulates in the general public.

The second taboo is the suicide of the airline pilots as they fly, and it will be shattered by the accident of the EGYPTAIR 990 flight, if the assumption of the suicide of the copilot is to be confirmed.

The third taboo is the UFO phenomenon UFO, and in particular the 220 visual observations confirmed by radar, among them is mine. We can thank the COMETA team which, by the quality of its members, its knowledge, its overview, its hypothesis, makes it possible to start to discuss seriously about the sightings from all points of the planet.

On December 7, 1999, TV viewers have an occasion to see you in the "Why? How?" show, animated by Sylvain Augier and Julie Bhaud, for the France3 channel. As I took part myself in the recording of this show, I had the pleasant impression that the questions were not "oriented." The "And CO" team (producing the show) seemed opened, although skeptic, and very sympathetic. If the editing does not suppress it, do you think that this kind of show can have some utility for general public? What do you think about the attitude of the medias, in general, as for their editing of UFO related information?

As I wrote above, there are several taboos in aeronautics, and the reporters who dare to face these interdict risk to be ridiculed, but also to have trouble finding a job. This type of show require curiosity and courage, and the journalists know that they risk negative reactions, or aggressive reactions, and derision.

This type of emission is very important for it makes it possible to give previously confidential information to the public. Information must pass gradually, whereas we must know that there will be all sorts of reactions.

The bottom line of this problem is the maturity of the public.

Is the public ready to receive the information?

The social psychologists can consider the consequences which an official meeting with an extraterrestrial civilization would have, if they have several million years of technological advance. Which upheavals would be induced? Will there be panic in the population? Which disappointed hopes? Will we find the best, the worst, or both? Which information should be given to the public?

Today, do you think that the origin of the UFO phenomenon is not our planet?

The immensity of the universe, its beauty, its unknown features, the current technological progress, the space travels, the orbiting stations, and what I saw, can only convince me that we are not alone in the universe and that we will take part, if we do not destroy ourselves, in the community of the species which travel across the galaxy.

The true current problem of our planet is not the existence, or not, of extraterrestrial civilizations but all the problems caused by pollution, the accumulation of the weapons of destruction, fanaticism, totalitarianism, the overcrowding of our planet.

California-Saucer Objects
02-28-07-They were two far away objects high in the sky with weird behavior. I first thought they were birds of prey. Then I realized they could not be birds or planes as they don't come in round black "donut" shapes... or was it red triangles?

They seemed to be shifting shapes! I rushed into the house to grab my camera and my roommate. We stepped outside and saw... A red and black donut shaped "Whatizit" and an arrow shaped one. I would like to think they were balloons, but they really looked weird.

The second object ( I mean the one that was following the other) turned bright and disappeared into a cloud in a flash !! ?? That was far from us and we could not believe our eyes. Someone else than us must have seen those. This was right over Hollywood in the middle of a sunny afternoon,on Feb 28 2007. 2 witnesses here... source: www.mufon.com

Michigan-Six Lights Seen
03-22-07-It was very windy when I let my dog out to do her business at 5:24 A.M. I know the time because the microwave is right by the side door to our kitchen. It was a mix of high clouds & swirling winds with a storm brewing to the west. I stared into the NNW sky over 3/4 of the way up there were a series of lights spaced well apart moving at the exact same speed as the others.

There were 6 of them total. I saw the one & it was dead silent except for the wind occasionally gusting. I first thought it was a distant star until I followed it & it WAS moving. I noticed through the breaks of clouds that there were others not too far way. Obviously no set pattern, but they all moved at exactly the same speed. It would not have helped to have my camera as they were too far away to get a good shot.

The clouds moved in a few minutes in to my tracking & it was over. I wish I could have gotten my telescope out of the garage to get a better view, but time was not on my side. Then I tried to get back to bed. Knowing that what I just saw was inexplicable. But I know what I saw. Sincerely, M. B. source: www.mufon.com

New Mexico-Triangle Seen
03-17-07-While in my sunroom which faces East, I looked up out the window and saw an object nearly straight above me. Thinking it is a weather balloon like I have seen before I got out my binoculars to get a better look. I couldn't get a real good view of it so I went outside. I was able to get a better look and saw a triangular object, it was metallic in color and each corner of the object was dark.

I heard no noise coming from it, yet I could here the engines of passenger jets as they passed overhead shortly thereafter. I could not determine the altitude because it was overhead with nothing to reference it against. I watched the object for a couple of minutes and then went into the house to get a more powerful set of binoculars, I was gone for less than a minute and the object was gone. I scanned the skies and could not relocate it. source: www.mufon.com

New York
03-20-07-I witnessed the same thing a few nights ago, like that night, I was outside with my dog, and I was looking at the stars like I always do. The sky was just starting to get dark and I noticed a very bright star to the west of where I was standing then noticed the big dipper start to form. That's when I saw a star like shape moving, only this time the shape moved South to North and was moving slowly.

There were planes in the sky that had blinking lights, this object did not have any blinking lights and it was luminous like a star. When I look up at the sky I look to see if any thing is moving, and that is what first made me notice it. When I saw the object I was like " not again?"

I just noticed something the other night, and around the same time too. My feelings were of astonishment and anxiety, also I said I can not report this, I just reported something the other night these guys are going to think I am nuts... source: www.mufon.com

Oregon-Photographs of UFOs
03-17-07- I was at my fathers house for the weekend. There was an abnormal amount of contrails in the area and I felt compelled to use my camera for the first time in several months so I decided to take pictures of the trails and the scenery at my house. I will get back to that later.

My main sighting took place at around 5 or so in the afternoon. My father had asked me to go and get firewood from the barn and I reluctantly agreed. I was lagging behind a bit and by the time I left the house he was already inside the barn gathering wood.

When I was almost off of my deck I heard the ever so familiar sound of a helicopter flying by and since I'm an avid fan of aviation I stopped and looked for the source of the sound. There was something quite odd about this sound, almost as if it were hollow, like a recording. I didn't pay much attention to this fact until I saw what the sound was coming from.

The sound was coming from a amber/orange ball type UFO that was moving at roughly the same speed as a slow moving helicopter (but it definitely wasn't a helicopter).

I immediately dropped the wood carrier that I had in my hands and bolted inside the house to get my 4 megapixel digital camera. After scrambling around for it and putting new batteries inside I managed to get 3 pictures of the craft before it went behind the trees/hills. I would've gotten more, but unfortunately it was impossible to see it in the viewfinder since it was displayed as white instead of orange.

The weekend had passed and I was quite proud of what I managed to take a picture of. Little did I know is that several of the other photographs had UFOs in them also. The strange thing about these other photos is that I never saw, nor heard anything. And I'm 100% sure none of them are birds as it was a fairly barren day bird wise. This may not be related, but there was also a fairly odd X shaped contrail barely above the horizon (which would probably result in a jet slamming into the ground if it tried to make it). source: www.mufon.com

Tennessee-Cylinder Object
03-17-07-At 11:21 AM I walked into the front yard and my attention was directed to a DC 10 (engines on rear of aircraft) that was very low and probably just taken off from Knoxville airport. This aircraft was headed east. Far above it were two objects. One was clearly a commercial aircraft, leaving contrails and I could clearly see the wings.

A few thousand feet below that, not leaving any contrail, was another object, cylindrical in shape, with no visible wings. The lower object (from my point of view) paced the commercial aircraft. I watch both until the cylindrical object was no long visible and the commercial aircraft was just a point of light. Cylindrical object was the size of a cigarette butt held at arms length. Commercial aircraft was about half that size. It made no turns at all. I kept wishing it would do something goofy but it continued pacing the commercial aircraft until out of sight. source: www.mufon.com
