UFOs, Aliens No Strangers to Grand Valley
    UFO Depiction
    By GARY HARMON

    The Daily Sentinel

Sunday, March 30, 2008-Far from being vast, vacant spaces between us bipeds and the stars, the skies are full of wonders, some closer than you might think.

By some accounts the skies above Earth are busy with activity. That there are unidentified flying objects is not exactly a revelation in the 21st century. They’re part of the cultural lexicon: UFOs. But the skies above western Colorado and the Grand Valley might be a little different, unusual, even. It was somewhere above western Colorado, maybe eastern Utah, that a Kansas man said he found “hard evidence” that UFOs are, as the phrase frequently goes, “not of this Earth.”

And in Paonia lives a woman who says she can explain why it is that strange lights seem to pulsate with some regularity over the Grand Valley’s skies. Hint: It’s not necessarily because of what’s above, but what lies beneath.

“Grand Mesa is a huge facility,” said Marcellina Beckwith. “There are portals and vortexes that open up all over the Grand Mesa.”

Humans can’t see them because they exist in different dimensions than humans occupy, she said. Beckwith said she’s in a position to know. She is the reincarnated soul of the commander of the craft from Zeta Reticuli that crashed in 1947 in Roswell, N.M., Beckwith said.

The author of two books, “Stranded on Earth: The Story of a Roswell Crash Survivor” and “Zeti Child: Lost Upon a One Star World,” Beckwith is a regular columnist for the monthly UFO newsletter “Star Beacon,” writing as Commander Sanni Ceto, her identity at the time of the crash.

The sky above the Grand Valley is a busy place, Beckwith said, because its inner recesses are filled with creatures who are working with the American military. The creatures, called reptoids, are not to be trusted. She is here, Beckwith said, because “someday, your earth might need our help, to save you from a disaster that might be man-made.”

    UNDER QUARANTINE

The fact is, said Beckwith and Max Harris, a Grand Junction man who tracks all things UFO, Earth is something other than a paradise. Actually, humans and Earth are under quarantine. Humans, it turns out, aren’t to be trusted and that is why the race is stuck on a tiny rock swirling in a far corner of the universe. One of many universes, actually.

There is more. A lot more. But for the moment, it’s enough to know that the reason humans occasionally see UFOs is because more advanced beings are checking up on their progeny. It’s also important to know, Harris said, that it’s no accident that the Mayan calendar marks the end of days on Dec. 21, 2012. It’s at that point that Earth’s universe begins a new revolution of 25,625 years, launching us all into a new, better dimension. In the meantime, though, Earth remains a cosmic Hells’ Kitchen. Like a restaurant with a reputation for poisoning the clientele, “We’re on everybody’s maps” as a place to avoid, Harris said. “We’re angry. We’re hostile.”

But, like any other malignancy, humans also have to be observed, presumably from safe vantage points.

    LIGHTS OVER REDLANDS

Perhaps that explains the experience of KJCT-TV news director Karla Shotts, who got a call Jan. 25 from the newsroom about 7 p.m., telling her the station was getting calls about lights in the sky. Sure enough, Shotts said, the lights were visible from her Redlands-area home. There were three sets of lights, Shotts said, hovering in the night sky. She thought of them as a clock, with the moon at midnight, one set of lights at 11, another a 3 and the third in the center, where the hands would attach.

The light arrays were identical, she said. A larger light that flashed blue, red and then gold was surrounded by tiny lights that behaved like strobe lights.

“All three stayed exactly in the same place for at least two hours,” she said.

About 9 p.m., it was over.

“The one at 11 disappeared first, then the second to disappear was the one in the middle and the one at 3 was the last to go,” she said. “There was no motion, no nothing. They were just gone.”

Shotts checked with military bases in Colorado and was told no one was doing anything in the skies over Grand Junction. There’s no video of the event because “power bumps” that night near the station left it with irregular electrical service, she said.

No, nothing cosmic. More like road work, she said. “We lost a lot of stuff that week.”

And about the UFO? “It was just really neat,” she said. But she and other Redlands residents saw something. In that, they are — yes, but wait for it — not alone.

    ‘SMOKING GUN’

Robert White, a Kansas man who was passing through the Grand Valley in 1985, was driving west on Interstate 70 out of Grand Junction when he, too, spotted lights hovering in the darkness. His view was of two parallel, elongated tubes, glowing blue, in the sky.

“Then I saw a huge ball of light and the thing took off straight in the air,” he said. He saw something strike a nearby hillside and ran to see more.

He found a groove in the ground leading to a glowing, hot object, White said. He retrieved something from the car to help him hold the object, which had cooled by the time he returned. The object, shaped like an elongated teardrop with “chads that stick out,” has been determined to be pure aluminum, he said.

“It does strange things,” such as interfere with electrical devices, pick up radio signals and mystify viewers, White said.

“Everybody that sees it agrees, they’ve never seen anything like it, ever,” he said.

White has taken polygraph tests, submitted the object to various labs and been generally frustrated that the object hasn’t generated the interest it deserves, he said.

“The mainstream media doesn’t want to touch it,” he said.

His Web site calls it “the bullet from the smoking gun” that shows there is more science than fiction to UFOs. On his Web site, ufohardevidence.com, White speculates that the artifact might have a Martian origin. White wasn’t alone when he had his encounter. There was another witness, he said, but declined to elaborate.

“She’ll never be found,” he said.

    ‘I DON’T DOUBT’

Robert St. John, a fixture in Grand Junction radio for decades, said White is “the real deal.” He’s hefted White’s artifact and talked to White, St. John said. More to the point, he saw what White saw, 10 years later.

He was running on Colorado National Monument one August morning in 1995 when he saw the same kind of thing described by White hovering over Fruita.

“Then it drops two pods that shoot into the Bookcliffs,” St. John said. “There was no sound. They gave out a white light like a welder’s light. Poof, poof and they were gone.”

The object itself floated in the air, he said. “It shimmered into existence and it shimmered out of existence.” That very same day, minutes later, a man in Salida saw exactly the same thing, St. John said. He got the Salida event on tape and it was shown on Denver television, St. John said.

Given all that, “I don’t doubt anything anyone says anymore” about UFOs, he said.

Which brings us back to Beckwith, who said that White’s story about his artifact “makes sense, as Earth people haven’t perfected the process to create pure, flawless aluminum.”

White’s theory, though, that his object came from Mars is flawed, she said, because Mars is mostly iron.

    ‘I’M A STAR PERSON’

It’s now Beckwith’s job to help humanity find its way through the maze of growth in the cosmos, she said. Humans didn’t just happen upon this planet, Beckwith said. The planet itself is no coincidence. Earth is the result of “terraforming” and mountains make for great bases as they can be hollowed out, “like Cheyenne Mountain.” Earth’s denizens are the result of sophisticated genetic work by the Pleiadians, a race of human-like people who hail from the stars of the constellation Pleiades, she said.

“I’m a star person,” she said.

She has sewn together representations of her father, Khinyeo, as well as other grays, and she sells them on the Web. But her real work is the preparation for the events of 2012, when the fate of humanity will be decided, she said. It is then that humans will decide whether they are to be creatures of love and peace, or of hatred and war, she said.

“I’m here as a teacher and educator” intended to reveal the truth of humanity’s origins and its potential, Beckwith said.

“I want to see the cover-up ended.”

She is particularly suited for her job because she had a reckless streak, herself, as Sanni Ceto.

“We were not supposed to be there,” she wrote in “Stranded on Earth.” “As a matter of fact, we were violating the orders of the Council by coming to Earth in the first place. Earth was strictly off-limits to all spacecraft, but my desire to lead a specimen-collecting scientific expedition there had been just too tempting to let a little thing such as Federation rules and regulations stop me.”

Her craft crashed because she was momentarily distracted during an electrical storm, and in her book, Beckwith recounts her treatment by her human captors and her eventual torture and death as Sanni Ceto.

Beckwith grew up in Ohio and made her way with the help of the Star Beacon to Paonia, where she said she finally feels at home on Earth.

    HELPING HUMANITY

There are ways, said Harris, to help humanity along its course.

“When somebody does something unselfish,” he said, “they potentialize themselves.” And in doing so, “You accelerate our own evolution. Every human being is the beneficiary.”

He hasn’t seen a UFO, Harris said, but he doesn’t need to, either. And those who have seen them aren’t necessarily ready to concede that aliens walk among us. But among many who say they have seen a UFO, there is a bond.

“Once you see, you know,” St. John said. “Once you see, you understand.”

Understanding, though, has its price. Ask Agent K of “Men in Black,” who dealt daily with the scum, and the cream, of the universes.

“They’re beautiful, aren’t they?” K said, scanning heavenward. “The stars. I never really look at them anymore, but they actually are quite ... beautiful.”

The Elite Agenda on UFO Dislosure: Do We Collaborate?
    UFO Depiction
    by Ed Komarek

There has been quite a bit of debate recently within the UFO/ET community as a whole and exopolitics in particular about cooperation with mainstream media’s seemingly orchestrated UFO/ET disclosure process. Some folks believe that they need to tone down the extraterrestrial angle so as to play into the mainstream media’s disclosure or propaganda operation as an initial first step toward public recognition of exopolitical realities.

Other folks believe collaboration with mainstream media is similar to collaboration with an occupying power and that collaboration only strengthens the occupier’s position and weakens the resistance to occupation. I am reminded of the struggle during World War Two in occupied France between the Resistance and Nazi collaborators.

Some of the French people decided to collaborate with the Nazis and accepted occupation as a reality that was there to stay and decided to cooperate so as to ease their suffering under occupation. Other French people argued against his and created the resistance that eventually helped free their country from the tyranny of the Nazi occupation.

Over the past several months there seems to have been a shift in tactics by the mainstream news and entertainment propagandists in regards to UFO/ET realities promoting a more open acceptance that UFOs are indeed real and that what they really are is unknown.

This would represent a change of propaganda policy instituted at the highest levels of government and supported by the special interests that control government and who own most of the mainstream media. These new developments encourage more people in our field to seek to cooperate with those that maintain the UFO/ET cover-up in the hope that this is a first step toward full eventual disclosure.

The apparent shift of tactics by the propaganda press from flat out denial and ridicule to a more benign acceptance of UFOs is sure to continue and expand the debate between those that favour collaboration and those that favour resistance. It is certainly a step in the right direction that much of the mainstream media seems to be cutting back on the use of depreciating words and phrases like, “UFO buffs“, believers, crackpots, amateurs, conspiracy theorists, lack of evidence, lack of credentials etc. we should not let our guard down. The propaganda game may only be moving from denial to spin where the occupiers continue to remain in the driver’s seat gaining strength as more collaborators hop on board.

Many of the public are now becoming aware and understand that entrenched special interests have gained secret control over global governments, mainstream media and finance. This secret elitist control could be rightly called an occupying power. Even more disturbing yet much harder for the general public to understand are the many reports now coming to light of secret extraterrestrial alliances and treaties between these various very secretive and deceptive elitist factions.

It would appear that secret alliances have been made not with just one ET race but with several different races of a similar predatory mindset as the entrenched interests that govern earth in secret and behind closed doors. This should come as no surprise as it seems to be a universal law that like attracts like. Such an alleged alliance between ET predatory special interests and earth human predatory special interests could be the driving force behind the covert implementation of a sophisticated global Orwellian world order.

So if the above is indeed true, then we could say that we are experiencing a secret covert gradual occupation and takeover by as yet unknown extraterrestrial powers aided and abetted by our own home grown elitists. If this is true this would certainly be high treason of the most serious and dangerous kind putting all of humanity at risk of enslavement and eventual overt occupation.

Many would wonder how can we to fight against this kind of sophisticated very advanced psychological and technological attack. Fortunately there is hope because the universe seems to be a very diverse place where evolutionary processes of competition and cooperation play out in many diverse ways just as here on earth.

I have taken it upon myself to identify and focus on those extraterrestrial races that favour cooperation over competition and predation. I am well aware of the predatory ET races and their treasonous global entrenched autocratic allies. However I feel hope and salvation from such an enveloping dark future lies with the more cooperative and ethical races particularly the celestial humans in which we seem to have much in common.

The best that I can tell is that some of the celestial humans, the same as recorded in ancient religious texts in both the east and in the west, are not party to and do not cooperate in the covert enslavement of humanity. Perhaps religious people may be the first to catch on to the overall state of affairs because sacred texts like the bible outline the struggle between cosmic intelligences of both predatory and cooperative nature. In the end times the struggle comes to a head with the predatory both exposed and defeated.

The problem is that the Bible was written thousands of years ago and extraterrestrial reality was perceived in a more primitive way than in our modern enlightened scientific time. The Bible seems to have gotten it right but now needs to be updated and brought into alignment with modern scientific discoveries. What was known in the past as the heavenly host can be more accurately described as the extraterrestrials of modern times. Just as in the past, the struggle between cooperative ET species and predatory ET species continues as to the fate of earth and its humanity continues to remain in the balance.

We each have to make our individual decisions as to cooperate or resist the enveloping Orwellian occupation. In order to do that we need to understand the environment in which we are operating and choose accordingly. It’s a fine line between cooperating in a public disclosure process being orchestrated by an occupying power and not having our actions strengthen that covert occupying power. As UFO/ET disclosure and its spin progresses we all have to continuously monitor the situation and adjust our actions accordingly. The last thing we want to do as the collaborators in France did, is strengthen the occupier.

    UFO Reported over Maine Turnpike
    Depiction of UFO Sighting
I was driving east on Blackstrap road in Falmouth around 7:47 pm when I crossed an overpass of the Maine Turnpike. I noticed two severe bright lights to the north, directly above the highway, which I thought were a very large plane. It is a typical flight path for the Portland Jet Port, and was maybe half of a mile away.

The sky was very clear and stars were out. The lights came very fast in my direction- maybe two to three seconds, and was about 20-30 feet above the tree line.

I watch planes fly through this route all the time and they are always noisy and slow, getting ready to land. This thing had two white lights at each end in the front, and a blinking red light in the back. When it got past me I could see the lights formed a perfect triangle. I was less than a mile from my house and I watched it fly in that direction at a speed that was incomprehensible.

I was driving, so I could not get pics, and it happened so fast. I would like to know if anyone else saw this- the highway was busy, so someone had to have seen it. It flew from North to East at a phenomenal rate of speed.

When I saw this, I rolled down my window to see if I could hear it, but there was no sound at all. No missing time and no engine/electrical disturbance. When I returned home, I was quite shocked , and looked out my window in the direction it went.

A 'wave' of cloud, smoke, or something eerily moved west to east, then disappeared. Very curious if anyone else witnessed this. It would have been near exit 53 off the Maine Turnpike, the evening of March 24.

UFO Sighting Report from the Netherlands
    Milpitas, California
When watching this video my only thought was: Déjà Vue!

I live in The Netherlands, in Hoorn, a town 40 kilometres to the north of Amsterdam. On the 12th or the 13th of March around 13:00 hours I was lying on my couch, looking out of my kitchen window. I always do this for half an hour before going to work.

It was a cloudy day, just like in the video, and all airplanes flying over my house were leaving a contrail. Then something caught my eye and attention. I only saw it for maybe two or three seconds before it disappeared behind a cloud. But it struck me as different to the planes I saw up to that moment. Firstly, because almost every plane that I see, crosses my house, flying northeast to southwest, or southwest to northeast.

En route towards or away from Schiphol Airport. This object flew perpendicular to the common flight path, going from an almost southeasterly direction to the northwest.

Secondly, because it left no contrail at all. But I thought this could be because it was much lower in the sky. And thirdly, because it looked not like a plane. At the height it flew, I expected to see something of the wings or certainly the tail of a plane. But it looked the same on both ends, like a rectangle, not cigar shaped.

I jumped up from the couch and walked to the window in the hope I would be able to see it again a little further along. A group of seagulls was flying around. The thought crossed my mind: Did I see a seagull? And nothing more? But I immediately knew the seagulls were much closer by. And just a few seconds later the object came from behind a cloud, where I expected it to happen. It flew in a straight line, not fast.

Looking at the video at the same pace I see it going there. I still could not make an airplane out of what I was looking at. And after 3 or 4 more seconds it disappeared again behind a cloud. After that only clouds and more clouds obscured every possibility to see the object again.

Have I seen the same object? I am sure it was at least identical to the one in the video.

With much regard to your work and web site,

    C.J.D.

UFOs over Yeisk by Paul Stonehill
1960-There have been a number of UFO sightings and crop circles reported in the Russian city of Yeisk during the last century. After the fall of the Soviet Union, an active UFO-research group, headed by Yuri Stroganov (now a journalist) was established in Yeisk.

Recently I received an interesting confirmation about UFO sightings from Yeisk, and a very coherent explanation as to the nature of the objects. A prominent Russian UFO researcher, author, and journalist Mikhail Gershtein sent it to me, and I want to share it.

In 1960, a group of Soviet army cadets observed anomalous phenomena in the sky. They decided to write a letter about it to the KRASNAYA ZVEZDA newspaper.

    The letter contained the following:

    September 10, 1960

    “Dear Editors:

We are residents of Yeisk. We are asking you to explain an unusual phenomenon. In August of 1960, by chance, twice we have observed flight of a celestial object. On September 9, at 20:15 (Moscow time), the flight again took place, from west to east. The heavenly body was of an average size. The speed of its flight was less than that of a satellite.

The flight lasted 8 to 12 minutes.

Here is what was unusual about it:

    1) It flew sideways from the observers ;

    2) Its luminescence was flickering;

    3) Its movement was curvilinear

What could it have been? Would we be able to observe it again?

    Respectfully,

On behalf of a group of army cadets,

    Kozlov Valery, Barilin Igor

    Our address is:

City of Yeisk, VVOL, Stalin Street, K-1-V

On September 16, 1960, the editors of the KRASNAYA ZVEZDA sent the letter they received from Yeisk to the Moscow Planetarium. They requested that the Planetarium scientists reply to the letter.

Some time later (the date is not indicated), the Moscow Planetarium sent a reply to the cadets.

    “Dear comrades Kozlov and Barilin!

The phenomenon you had observed was one of the experiments to study the upper layers of the atmosphere. Such research was described in PRIRODA magazine, Issue 5, 1959; pp. 74-76.

    Respectfully,

    Lecturer Tsigankova.

Another letter from the Planetarium to KRASNAYA ZVEZDA stated the following:

    “Dear Editors!

As to your inquiry, we are informing you that the comrades who sent you the letters had observed research projects, planned through the program of the International Geophysics Year. The purpose of the projects was the study of our planet Earth as a whole; scientists from over 66 countries had participated, including Soviet scientists. (signed)

    Rosenblyum.

While the explanation proffered by Soviet scientists was probably correct, other anomalous phenomena sighted over the city and in its fields were cannot be easily explained.

Today the city contains the Yeisk Air Force Academy and VM Komarov Higher Military Aviation School, and 959th Training Regiment. The Aviation School had trained such prominent personalities as the Cuban astronaut Arnaldo Tamayo-Mendez, and the Commander of Ukrainian Air Force Viktor Strelnikov . Yeisk is located in the Southern Russia, not far from the battlefields of Chechnya. Krasnodar Krai, of which Yeisk is a part, is a region of great economic significance for Russia. The krai (region) contains transportation infrastructure vital to Russian and Caspian Basin energy exports. It is also an important agricultural area and lies in Russia's fertile Black Earth zone. Like most Russia, Krasnodar suffers from an insufficient energy supply, inadequate infrastructure, and a lack of capital.

    1991

It all began in the summer of 1991. On August 16, Maxim Churbakov, a cadet of the Yeisk Military Aviation School, took off on his third solo flight. The engine of his airplane functioned for just fourteen minutes and then it stalled. Churbakov reported to the flight control: "Forty-second, engine shutdown, altitude 1400, r.p.m. down to 20 percent."

On the ground they were unable to find a solution to the problem at once, and the cadet had to take a decision himself. Fifty-seconds after the engine shutdown he reported: "I am preparing to eject and am turning away from the town."

The second minute had begun. At the moment of ejection, the plane was over a body of water. Soon a fishing boat picked up Maxim. Meanwhile, on the shore his plane was in flames.

In this case no UFO was involved. In the newspaper of the military district there soon appeared a snapshot of Maxim with his flying instructor, and the correspondent quoted the words of the area commander Air Force Major General V. Mihailov: "You know, when I first heard about this accident in the air training regiment, I was upset. It's a pity to lose an expensive machine. But when I established all the circumstances of the incident, when I had spoken to the cadet, and listened to the tape of the radio traffic, I was even glad. I felt much better about it. What fine people we have!"

After this rejoicing over the cadet's self-possession and presence of mind, the general gave instructions that a copy of that tape is used as a training aid... so that other future pilots should learn from it how to behave in emergencies.

The correspondent concluded his article on the optimistic note: "...after the necessary medical examination Maxim will return to his flight training. And, I am certain he will become a fine pilot."

The newspaper appeared on August 27, but Maxim was a short-lived hero... for only one day. To be more exact, until August 28, when at 5:31 p.m., during another training flight, at an altitude of 4000 meters, he saw an orange sphere. The object was similarly above the clouds, somewhat on his starboard side, and Maxim immediately reported it to the flight control. Meanwhile, the sphere had begun approaching him, increasing to two meters in diameter. It burned his eyes, and the pilot shut them and lowered his head. ("At first I felt curious, but then I felt dread" Maxim later recalled those moments.)

    FROM MAXIM CHURBAKOV'S REPORT:

"I had the feeling that someone was watching me, and there was an unpleasant sensation on the back of my head in the right side. I began lifting my head, but was unable to look--for some reason I experienced a feeling of fear. The "generator" indicator on the emergency panel went on. I began reporting a generator failure, but just then the "fire" warning system went on. I saw a trail of smoke in the wake of the plane. The burning sensation in my eyes increased, and smoke appeared in the cockpit. I began extinguishing the fire, and reported everything to the flight control.

I was ordered to eject. I declined to do so, because I saw a large populated center in front. The "fire" warning light continued to blink. I went into a glide toward the fields. My eyes hurt badly, and because of tears in them I could not see well. Much of the radio traffic was incomprehensible. Someone was intervening in the radio exchange, and sometimes there was nothing but a screeching sound in the earphones. The plane was difficult to control, and its speed fluctuated plus-minus 100 kilometers. At an altitude of 1000 meters I ejected and came down in a field of maize."

On the ground the cadet was viewed with unconcealed suspicion. To wreck two planes in a row was no laughing matter. A week later the area commander came to the hospital where the recent hero was being examined. To start with, the commander debunked his recent act of heroism, saying that the engine of his plane had been shut down by the cadet himself and had not stalled. The general admitted that he had been hasty in commending the future pilot. Actually, General Mihailov said some more things.

    FROM MAXIM CHURBAKOV'S REPORT:

"He said they had found an aluminum wire, which I had supposedly wound around the autopilot switch. And while doing so, I had let go of the control stick. The commander said that all this had been proved and there was no point in my denying it. If I did not confess, the documents would be sent to the prosecutor's office."

Such "cordial" discussions were conducted with him more than once. In the end, criminal proceedings were instituted against him. It was soon after that his mother, in tears, and her visibly upset son arrived at the Russian UFO Center (SOYUZUFOTSENTR at the time), begging its researchers to find an explanation of the mysterious sphere. Maxim was accused of deliberately destroying expensive machinery. He was to be made a scapegoat. The military authorities informed the mother that Maxim, a young man, can spend the next ten years in prison, and still be only 29 at the end of his sentence. Zinaida Ivanovna, Maxim's mother, did not want her son to spend even a day in the prison. Maxim was already expelled from the Yeisk Military Aviation School (visscheye voyennoye aviatzionnoye uchilische, a prestigious institution), and sent to serve in the army.

Several Russian ufologists initiated an investigation of their own. They recalled a similar case in the Soviet Union in 1981. In October of that year the Air Force pilot V. Korotkov was flying his MIG, when suddenly a glowing sphere, approximately five meters in diameter, appeared in front of it. For a few minutes it accompanied the fighter. As a result, the radio communication system ceased operating, fuel combustion was disturbed, and the engine shut down. Then, the sphere shifted toward the tail unit. There was an explosion that damaged the fin, and after that the sphere vanished from view. The engine began functioning again, and the airplane made a safe landing.

Experts investigating this incident arrived at the conclusion that the entire blame rested with glowing plasma. It ionized the air, and a powerful electric charge built up on the plane's skin, exploding and fusing part of the fin. It too could have caused the engine shutdown.

The investigators at the SOYUZUFOTSENTR also have reviewed many facts on record of car engines stopping when a UFO appeared in the vicinity. Ufologists know, too, that the effects of UFOs extend not just to human beings, who experience a burning sensation in their eyes, temporary blindness, and shed tears. They also affect machinery, electrical equipment being particularly vulnerable. As for what happened to Churbakov, the area where the incident occurred-the boundary between Rostov region and Krasnodar Krai-is well-known as one where there have been frequent UFO sightings. In fact, one of the most active Russian ufologists resides in Yeisk, and has recently completed a book about Russian military studies of UFOs. His name is Yuri Stroganov, and his research work is widely known and respected throughout the world. Yuri sent an interesting piece of information to the Russian Ufology Research Center (the information was later confirmed by Alexei Burenin, a top Russian chemical engineer).

In 1992, a UFO landing was reported from the Two Sisters hill near the town of Belaya Kalitva in the Rostov region. At the site, a circle 9 meters in diameter was discovered, and there was a black deposit in the soil. An analysis of rock samples from the Two Sisters hill performed at a laboratory in the city of Rostov revealed that the samples were of a brittle porous mass, yellowish brown on fracture and with traces of thermal effects (fused and enriched with manganese and iron) on the surface.

The surface changes in the samples were 2-3 mm deep, and the manganese content in these layers was hundreds of times higher than in samples of the rock proper.

The first report about Maxim Churbakov's misfortune arrived in my center in 1992. Boyevaya Vakhta (Battle Watch, a Russian military newspaper) carried an article titled "An orange sphere against fighter airplane." The author, Y. Leonidov, was clearly moved by the young pilot's story. He asked the military investigators to pay attention to the information about UFOs that has come down from such "heights" as the Air Force Colonel General I. Maltsev. The distinguished Russian general had revealed in 1991 that the UFOs encountered by Soviet fliers had possessed great maneuverability, as if lacking any inertia. The aircraft on our planet, added Maltsev, did not possess such capabilities.

In 1992 ,Ye. Leonidov was not very hopeful that Maxim would be set free.

Two years later everything changed. The investigators of the Russian UFO Center had completed their work. Ye. Leonidov published excerpts of the investigation in the UFO Center's newspaper "UFO."

FROM THE CONCLUSION OF THE UFO CENTER:

"Having examined the documents and circumstances relating to the event, the commission considers that during the flight there was a typical encounter with a UFO. The data of the UFO center confirm the diversity of the effects of unidentified objects on people and machinery. The most frequent of these are effects of electric equipment (as a rule, it switches off). In the case of human beings, it is the organs of vision that are affected first."

This case was examined not only at the UFO Center. The findings of the ufologists were borne out, for example by S. Kuzionov and Yu. Raitorovsky, two investigators of anomalous phenomena. The experts tested the cadet by subjecting him to retrospective hypnosis. Rima Leibow, the director of the New York Center for Treatment and Study of Anomalous Injuries, worked with them.

Here is an excerpt from the affidavit issued by Rima Leibow (as reported by Ye. Leonidov):

"Maxim Churbakov was guided by common sense and acted in line with the circumstances that arose. This is a normal reaction to such an event. His account is absolutely truthful, and the accuracy of his description in his report of what happened cannot be questioned." In conclusion, here is another document.

FROM THE DECISION TO DISMISS THE CRIMINAL CASE

"An analysis of the evidence submitted justifies the conclusion that the stimulation of engine shutdowns and a fire during M. Churbakov's flights on August 16 and 28, 1991, took place not because of his will or desire; therefore his actions implied no breaches of flight regulations, and the criminal case against Churbakov shall be dismissed owing to the absence of any crime in his acts."

The story of the encounter between Maxim Churbakov and a UFO had a happy end, after all. The former pilot escaped a very dangerous fate of a prisoner in the overcrowded and chaotic jails and prisons of modern Russia. Also, because he was expelled from the uchilische, Maxim did not become a military pilot, and escaped the bloody, protracted war in Chechnya. The encounter with a UFO turned out to be very auspicious for Maxim, after all.

    California-Strange Lights Hovering
03-23-08-It was early morning at 3:30 AM when my girlfriend and I were walking back from our friend's place. We were at MLK and 57th Street in Oakland. I looked up and saw strange lights hovering above us. My girlfriend said later it looked like eight aircraft flying really low above us.

I didn't take time to count but I took her word for it. I saw the lights too but was stunned by their passing. We didn't hear any planes. The lights headed northeast. They were about five hundred feet above us and the lights were really bright. The lights passed by fast! I grew up in Oakland and have never seen anything in the sky like these lights, it was not a plane or anything else, it was unexplainable to fly so low and have such bright lights unlike I have ever seen. source-www.mufon.com

    Florida-Red, Star-looking Object
03-29-08-We were at the beach having a bonfire, the sky was clear, and it was about 8:30 or 9:00 PM. I was looking up at the stars, and noticed the small red looking light (star?) and thought that it started moving. Then I noticed it was a really bright light that was moving, not the red light. It was moving northward and it seemed to be moving pretty fast. I had everyone look up and we were trying to figure out what it was, and as it was moving across the sky heading to the north it quickly changed directions and started moving eastward, it didn't turn it moved quickly to the east and we continued watching it as it disappeared into the sky it appeared to disappear into the stars.

I watched it until it could no longer be seen. We all deduced that it moved too fast and changed direction too fast to be a plane. Also, it was such a bright white light. We all tried to come up with a logical answer to what we were seeing but all we could figure out is what it wasn't-a plane, a satellite, or a comet... would love to know what it was. source: www.mufon.com

    Kansas-Triangle ala Phoenix Lights
1997-I just happened across your site and I had a sighting that was something like what was described in the Phoenix lights in March, 1997. I lived in Kansas at the time. I know it was March because it was right around my birthday which is March 8. My birthday party was a few days before this incident.

I was driving west in the town of El Dorado, Kansas. I was with my friend and we both saw it in the sky. It was around 10:00 PM. There were three bright red lights in a V-shape, and it darted from one end of the horizon to the other and back, it was so fast.

The horizon is so large and it did it in less than a millisecond. Then it darted out of the horizon. It was crazy. We were both freaked out, and drove 70 miles an hour through town to get home. I tell my husband now, and he says I am crazy. I say, no one would believe what we saw, unless you were there. I know what I saw, and there is no worldly explanation for it. NONE. I just wanted to add my story to the rest. Jami source: www.ufocasebook.com

    Maryland-Saucer Hovers
1966-In the summer of 1966, I saw a UFO in Silver Spring, MD, in the Kemp Mill area on Arcola Ave. I was about 17 years old, now I'm 60. It was hovering about 50-100 feet over the telephone lines, and heading south very slowly. I ran about a mile following it down the street.

There were windows, and I could see something or someone in the window of the ship. I was quite winded so I stopped running for a second or two, and put my head down about 10 seconds. When I looked up, the ship was gone. It was circular and big enough to hold maybe 50 people my size [ 6'3 200 lbs].

I went home to tell my parents and they just laughed and said not to tell anyone. I kept quiet, and didn't report it at the time. Even today I feel they are coming back to make contact with me and other people that saw them. It's like mentally, they left a message that they would be back to talk to me. Tell me what you think, I can still draw the image of the UFO today it's so clear in my mind. source: Steve M. http://www.ufocasebook.com

    Montana-Triangle UFO
Fall, 2002-I have only told a few people of my sighting. I saw a triangle shaped, three lighted UFO. I am a normal person and have no need to be recognized at all for this. I lived at the time in Roundup, Montana, with my sister. I was 26 at the time, and had just driven home from Billings and was waiting for my sister to get home.

I was standing outside my car star gazing and watching for shooting stars. I saw two of them, and also three airplanes. It is so beautiful in the Bull Mountains on Harper Coulee Road-you could see the stars so easily.

While I was looking at the stars, I saw the same type of thing that is on your web site. It was moving so fast and almost circular patterns. It was not a helicopter for it was way too far up to be a helicopter. It was not a plane because again way too high and way too fast, It was a UFO.

It was going really fast, I mean not so fast I couldn't see it, but seemed to cover thousands of miles in seconds just judging by sight. I didn't get pictures of it but you have a picture of what I saw right there on your site. It was only like a few minutes I saw it but I will never forget it at all and I only mention it when it is brought up.

I just recently told my 11 year old son about what I saw. He does not know how to take it. It makes me feel like I am nuts, thanks for reading. Thanks for a very cool site. source: www.ufocasebook.com

    West Virginia-UFO like Shooting Star
03-27-08-I saw a UFO in West Virginia. A light came down from the stars to earth like a shooting star. It dropped straight down and the light went behind some trees 10 seconds.

Later it came passing overhead slowly, then taking off quickly. There was no sound coming from it, just a beam of light like a headlight. I know that this was a UFO. source: www.ufocasebook.com
