Posted: March 30, 2007-Date: March 30, 2007 Time: Approx: 4:00 a.m. Location of Sighting: South-West Mississauga. Number of witnesses: 3 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Saucer.Full Description of event/sighting: I went out to smoke in the balcony at around 04:00 am and noticed a lighted flying object in the sky. It was approaching towards my apartment building from the southwest direction. At first I thought it was a really slow plane, but as it flew nearer I saw it had only one bright white light, which was not flickering. Then it went left and remained in one position for about 15 minutes. I became excited and woke up my wife to witness this peculiar object. We both could clearly see its shape, resembling that of a flying saucer. It had three beams of light emitting from its base. With all this commotion my 11 year old daughter also woke up, and saw herself, the reason for all this excitement. My 6 year old daughter slept undisturbed. The object then after swinging left and right for a few minutes, zoomed up with its light fading above the clouds. For some reason it flew back to its original position, and stayed glued till 06:00 a.m. Then it again shot upwards above the clouds and stayed visible till around 06:45. There were planes flying since 04:00 a.m. There is no way they did not detect this UFO on their radars. This was certainly a most fascinating experience for us. My only regret is that I couldn't capture the whole incident on video, but only managed to snap a few photographs. If they are convincing, then I will upload them soon. Thank you to the witness for another interesting report.

According to popmech.ru this photo is presented from a private collection of an old Russian Air Force retiree, who have seen with his eyes the flying saucers made for the Russian army in the 1950s and even had a chance to make this photo.
Their AF squad had a task to compete those machines in order to test their characteristics in air fight. This particular photo was made in Russian Air Force base on Spitzbergen or Slalbard Island, north to Norway.

Gillian Anderson Goes on the Record with Interest-
By Wes LauriePublished April 04, 2007 Oops! Did She Do it Again? On September 10th, 1993 the first episode of what would end up being the nine season spanning , conspiracy fueled show The X-Files aired on the Fox network. The show was the brain child of Chris Carter and starred David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson as special FBI agents who explored the realms of the paranormal. Capitalizing on the cult following and the success of the series X-files the movie was released in 1998. The film was accessible to people who did not follow the show and was also a continuation in the shows story line which relied heavily on a conspiracy involving aliens and abduction. Due to the subject matter and accessibility the movie was considered a success, however a sequel was never made. Every few years there has been talk about a possible X-files sequel, however due to many industry issues including the X-files creator filing a lawsuit against Fox over syndication profits, the talk has been without action. Carter has since settled his lawsuit and now the talk seems to be creating more serious discussion and consideration. Actor David Duchovny has long been a supporter of the proposed sequel, but his co-star Gillian Anderson had more reservations towards the idea. It appears now that she may be entertaining the idea and embracing the possibilities of returning to her character. In a recent interview with Empire Online, Gillian revealed that she would indeed be interested in a certain type of X-files sequel project. She is quoted with statement saying the possibility of a sequel is closer to being a reality. The idea for the X-files movie sequel, according to Gillian, would not center around the overdone aliens plot used for the previous film and much of the television series. She isn't aware of exact plot details, but spoke of Carter wishing to do a more "stand alone horror story" that he has been wanting to make for years. This concept seems to be what draws Gillian to the prospect of the project, since she has stated her lack of interest in following up with the alien plots. X-files fans and movie audiences around should consider these talks of an X-files sequel as a positive step towards some interesting ideas being brought to their cinema in the future. Carter and the show have a universally appealing premise of interest and the track record of success is undeniable. Industry insiders have tipped off that production for the X-FILES sequel could and will most likely begin in 2008.

Bridlington free press 15/3/07-The paper printed eight separate reports of orange and red balls of light seen along East Yorkshire coast line. Some of the sightings were multiple witness. And they all claim the objects were silent able to move up and down and sideways . They say the balls of light moved in deferent directions to each other which would rule out Chinese lanterns or balloons as these would travel in a very similar line with the following wind.
So what are they? UFOs seen over Bridlington 5/3/07 After a long talk with David Hinde on Sunday evening i came away feeling that his sightings still fitted comfortably into the category of UFO. David seemed very articulate and level headed and openly admitted to having no interest in ufo before this sighting. His journey from Malton to Bridlington was uneventful until he reached the dottrill public house. David used this as a reference point as it was from this location that he saw the lights. They were quite high in the sky and red orange in colour. He estimated there size to be about twice as big as a star. They were not moving as a plane would and seemed to be able to move up and down and side ways. They were so unusual that he decided to pull over in a lay by and watch them. Using the road as a sort of guide he realized that they never moved from the right hand side of the road. He also estimated that they were somewhere above the Honeypot pub. This public house is quite remote and off the beaten track. As interesting as the sighting was , after 10 to 15 mins [time now 1105PM] David reluctantly got back in his car to drive home. It was at this point something a little unusual happened. Spooky was David's words. As he started the engine and turned on the lights the red/orange light of the ufo went out. At that point he felt a little uneasy. I did ask him if it was merely that the lights from the car had stopped him from seeing them. He said not, and that the sky that evening was very clear and bright. David continued to look for another minute or so and to his surprise they appeared again. At this point David continued his journey home, his head full of what he had seen. And like the rest of us still looking for answerers to the puzzle. ILF now has many sightings and reports of these orange/red spheres over Bridlington and they seem to be on the increase. I would like to here from anyone else who has seen them. An unidentified seen hovering 2/3/07 over a field near Staithes on Monday night by a teenager returning home. Steven Dye (18) who lives in Staithes, says he saw the phenomenon, silently shining close to where he was driving towards the village from Boulby at around 8PM. He said: "I saw something floating in between Staithes and Hinderwell from where I was looking." It had about eight lights, red and orange coloured and it just stayed in the same place for about 10 or 20 seconds before fading away. It is the first time I have seen something like that. I told my Mom and we went back down there later on but there was nothing there. It is interesting to note that these sightings are within a few days of each other and along the same stretch of coast line. ILF-UFO have reports of other people seeing these objects and fishermen off the coast of Bempton and Bridlington.

Published by Mark- April 3rd, 2007 in Far Out / ScienceFrom the New Scientist blog “Is the Pentagon obsessed with flying saucers? It keeps pouring money into efforts to build them. The latest example is a contract to GFS Projects in Peterborough, UK. The initials stand for Geoff’s Flying Saucer, which can get off the ground and hover, as you can see … The saucer is about the size of a classic garbage-can lid that might have portrayed a flying saucer in a very low-budget science-fiction movie. But it really flies, thanks to a trick called the Coanda effect. An internal fan blows air upwards, directing it through nozzles that point out from the top of the saucer; the air then flows down along the curved surface, propelling the craft upwards. Vanes along the sides keep it from spinning around, but it can move and hover, properties that make it attractive for military use as an unmanned surveillance aircraft. The aerodynamic effect is used in some aircraft and has been studied for inverse hovercraft, which blow air up instead of down…”

What name would you like to use on report?
New London, CT, USA-March 29, 11:49 am or so
Photographer was accompanied by his girlfriend, but neither saw the object. Very clear day, lots of wind blowing and very cold There were no electromagnetic effects, smells, or missing time associated with the taking of the photograph. Well, I was trying to take a closer picture of the bird you'll see in the picture, and I finaly took it just before the bird flew away. When I got home I checked the picture in my computer and that is when I see this thing in the sky. And to tell you the truth I did not see anything or hear anything at the moment of the picture. I just want to know from an expert if this image is something strange or if it has a simple explanation. Thank you, Junior

RE: 1960s UFO Sighting
Hi, I'm writing in regards to the article about the 1960's UFO sighting of 2 red, round objects in the sky. In June of 2003 I saw two red, round objects side by side one another above a Steak & Ale restaurant located in Edison, NJ at around 7:00 PM on a clear night. I really don't know what they were, but I don't think they could have been balloons from the distance they were in without popping. If I had to guess I'd say they w they were 500 - 1000 feet in the air. I couldn't stay long to observe, but for the time I saw them they just kept moving to the right at a slow speed and that was it. The only other person that witnessed this was my mother. Sadly, I don't have any pictures, for which I'm still angry at myself over. I would always take my camera with me for something like this, but for this particular day I didn't have it with me. I never bothered to report this to anyone, but when I read your article I got so creeped out about how similar it was that I had to write this in. Perhaps there's a connection between the two incidents? If you need any more information please feel free to contact me. Robert L. ************************** RE: Series of Sightings in Michigan I am responding to the person who lives in Hell, Michigan and saw that bright light in the western sky. I am seeing that same light also every night as I am driving home from work. I thought it was a little odd seeing something like that in the western sky. I will be observing it more closely from now on and see if I also see the same things through a binocular. I live in St. Clair Shores, Mich., just north of Detroit along the St. Clair Lake. C. I came across an online copy of Major Edward Ruppelt's book about UFOs -- he was the first head of Project Blue Book, and though a skeptic, he actually did serious and thorough investigations on reported UFO sightings. He's also the guy who started calling "flying saucers" UFOs.
This is from Chapter 17 of Ruppelt's "The Report on Unidentified Flying Objects". The book is out of copyright and available for download free of charge from The Gutenberg Project among other sources. Ruppelt writes: It was just a few minutes before midnight on January 28, 1953, when a message flashed into Wright-Patterson for Project Blue Book. It was sent "Operational Immediate," so it had priority handling; I was reading it by 12:30 A.M... A pilot had chased a UFO. The report didn't have many details but it did sound good. It gave the pilot's name and said that he could be reached at Moody AFB. I put in a long distance call, found the pilot, and flipped on my recorder so that I could get his story word for word. He told me that he had been flying an F-86 on a "round robin" navigation flight from Moody AFB to Lawson AFB to Robins AFB, then back to Moody - all in Georgia. At exactly nine thirty five he was at 6,000 feet, heading toward Lawson AFB on the first leg of his flight. He remembered that he had just looked down and had seen the lights of Albany, Georgia; then he'd looked up again and seen this bright white light at "ten o'clock high." It was an unusually bright light, and he said that he thought this was why it was so noticeable among the stars. He flew on for a few minutes watching it as he passed over Albany. He decided that it must be an extremely bright star or another airplane - except it just didn't look right. It had too much of a definitely circular shape. It was a nice night to fly and he had to get in so much time anyway, so he thought he'd try to get a little closer to it. If it was an airplane, chances were he could close in and if it was a star, he should be able to climb up to 30,000 feet and the light shouldn't change its relative position. He checked his oxygen supply, increased the r.p.m. of the engine, and started to climb. In three or four minutes it was obvious that he was getting above the light, and he watched it; it had moved in relation to the stars. It must be an airplane then, he'd decided - an airplane so far away that he couldn't see its red and green wing tip lights. Since he'd gone this far, he decided that he'd get closer and make sure it was an airplane; so he dropped the nose of the F-86 and started down. As the needle on the machmeter nudged the red line, he saw that he was getting closer because the light was getting bigger, but still he couldn't see any lights other than the one big white one. Then it wasn't white any longer; it was changing color. In about a two second cycle it changed from white to red, then back to white again. It went through this cycle two or three times, and then before he could realize what was going on, he told me, the light changed in shape to a perfect triangle. Then it split into two triangles, one above the other. By this time he had leveled off and wasn't closing in any more. In a flash the whole thing was gone. He used the old standard description for a disappearing UFO: "It was just like someone turning off a light - it's there, then it's gone." I asked him what he thought he'd seen. He'd thought about flying saucers, he said, but he "just couldn't swallow those stories." He thought he had a case of vertigo and the more he thought about it, the surer he was that this was the answer. He'd felt pretty foolish, he told me, and he was glad that he was alone. Up ahead he saw the sprawling lights of Fort Benning and Lawson AFB, his turning point on the flight, and he'd started to turn but then he'd checked his fuel. The climb had used up quite a bit, so he changed his mind about going to Robins AFB and started straight back to Moody. He called in to the ground station to change his flight plan, but before he could say anything the ground radio operator asked him if he'd seen a mysterious light. Well - he'd seen a light. Then the ground operator proceeded to tell him that the UFO chase had been watched on radar. First the radar had the UFO target on the scope, and it was a UFO because it was traveling much too slowly to be an airplane. Then the radar operators saw the F-86 approach, climb, and make a shallow dive toward the UFO. At first the F-86 had closed in on the UFO, but then the UFO had speeded up just enough to maintain a comfortable lead. This went on for two or three minutes; then it had moved off the scope at a terrific speed. The radar site had tried to call him, the ground station told the F-86 pilot, but they couldn't raise him so the message had to be relayed through the tower. Sent in by Jeanette C.- UFO Casebook Reader [Editor's Note: One of the main reasons that Jeanette mentioned this older case to me was the reference to the UFO changing into a triangle shape, and then morphing into two triangle UFOs. We were both wondering, when were triangles first reported? Although triangle reports became very prominent in the 1980s, the first early documented sightings of triangles were during the "Operation Mainbrace" Sightings of 1952. There could well be reports earlier, and if anyone has that information, send it along.]

03-27-07-Alright, I was walking to my room and looked out the window and saw a bright light. I figured it was a planet. I hadn't seen it before so I stared for about a minute, then it disappeared and a faint light appeared. The light was shaking erratically all around the area for about 3 minutes, I ran outside and watched as it then stabilized itself and started flying over my area.
The UFO was a triangle shape and a light would flash on one point, then the next, then the third. Two of the lights were normal colored and the other was red. As I watched that one I looked past it and saw another light flashing erratically, got a little spooked, and went inside. But before I went inside I saw another bright light and figured it was a star, I just looked out the window and its gone. I didn't lose sight, I was just spooked. source: www.mufon.com |

03-27-07-Wife and I witnessed the light hover for over 30 min. I saw it first and dismissed it as a star, so I sat and watched TV for about 30min. I glanced outside my kitchen window and the light was brighter. I called the wife to witness it and used binoculars to verify the lights and it was not a star but was flashing bright small red light with large bright lights below the red light but had no lights below the object. While watching it with binoculars the light turned off and it was gone? The light just turned off and the object was gone without a trace. I kept looking for it with the binoculars but did not see anything. We witnessed it from Yoder Colorado looking west toward the north end of Colorado Springs. source: www.mufon.com |

03-28-07-I am reporting second hand from my mother, who lives in Durham, CT. She reported this event to me, but she isn't one to report things like this publicly. She rose early on the morning of 27 March, 2007. She was getting ready for work and letting the dogs outside. She was looking at the horizon line, just before sunrise. Across the sky came what looked a bit like a shooting star, but much larger. She said, from her perspective, that the object appeared as a broad streak across the sky, coloring from green to orange to yellow. A shooting star streaks across the sky, never seeming to land or hit the ground. My mother says this object appeared to land or crash, disappearing behind the tree line and out of sight. There was no sound of a crash - the whole event was silent. She became frightened, gathered the dogs, and went inside. She is unsure if what she saw was a "UFO" or merely a meteorite burning up as it sped through the atmosphere, but its unusual coloring and its perceived "nearness" to her property unsettled her. source: www.mufon.com |

Kentucky-Erratic Moving Light
03-20-07-This is my 6th sighting, since this night there has been 3 more sightings in the same general part of the sky. I was talking to a friend on the phone when I noticed a bright light in the western sky. I got my binoculars out because I have learned from years of watching for UFOs that they are a different kind of light. I watched as it began to swing back and forth like a pendulum then after a few minutes it would go in small circles in a clockwise direction ,,like a corkscrew then back to the pendulum motion. After about 15 minutes it split apart and became 2 different ones. After about 1 minute it went back together and changed colors from blue to green then back to just a bright light. As I watched, it would move very quickly from one position to another so fast that I would lose sight through my binoculars and would have to look to find it, then it would come back to the same position. After 1 hour and about 10 minutes I noticed 2 more lights come from it and went in a southern direction very quickly and was out of sight in a blink. After another 10 minutes or so I noticed some red lights below the main one that were a lot closer to me. They appeared to be within a mile or closer and was going back and forth over the tree tops in a pattern like a search pattern. This continued for at least 20 minutes then disappeared to the south and did not return until the next night at about the same time and in the same place doing the same pattern. source: www.mufon.com |

03-28-07-This is not the first time that we have seen this object. It appears to be similar to an object we saw in August, 2006. It is different from an object that we have also observed over western New York since October, 2005.
I walked outside to bring in my dog from the yard and I saw a very bright light in the western sky at approximately 70 degrees above the horizon. The light was very bright, with light rays emanating from it. The light was not as bluish as halogen lights on cars, but as bright. I called to my boyfriend to come out and look at the light, and he confirmed that it resembled the light that we had seen in August, 2006, and it moved slightly south while we were watching it. It had also blinked when I had first gone outside, and moved slightly south, and closer. I took 3 or 4 photographs of the object with a 35mm camera on 70mm zoom. I had attempted to film the object in August, but it was too dark, and the object did not appear in the film. This film was taken at just past dusk, so I am hopeful that the object appears in the photos. It is triangular in shape from top to bottom (appearing taller than wide), and it hovers for hours. The object is STILL in the sky, in the same place. I am contacting you because I can't believe that we are the only people who have observed this object, and the silence of mainstream media in regard to these incidents is insane. In August, we observed helicopters in the sky, that appeared to be approaching the object, and there was no mention of the incident on the news, or in the local newspapers. source: www.mufon.com |
