I saw these photos of the strange craft on the Coast to Coast AM website a couple of days ago, but did not post them immediately, because I have a lot of questions about them. These questions have not been answered yet, and I am getting a lot of email about them, so I am going to go ahead and post them at this time. If anything new develops, we will post it here. There are now some additional comments by Chad, who is the man who took the photographs...
Strange Craft Last month (April 2007), my wife and I were on a walk when we noticed a very large, very strange "craft" in the sky. My wife took a picture with her cell phone camera (first photo below). A few days later a friend (and neighbor) lent me his camera and came with me to take photos of this "craft". We found it and took a number of very clear photos. Picture #4 is taken from right below this thing and I must give my friend credit as I was not brave enough to get close enough to take this picture myself! The craft is almost completely silent and moves very smoothly. It usually moves slowly until it decides to take off. Then it moves VERY quickly and is out of sight in the blink of an eye. MORE THAN ANYTHING I simply want to understand what this is and why it is here? We found your show with Google and I have listened for a few nights now. I have decided that if anyone can help me understand what this thing is, it is you and your audience. I must admit I am deeply unsettled by this thing. I have never seen anything like this in my life... Location: I would prefer not to say for now. Chad Chad related this information in response to questions: Thank you so much for posting my photos! I hope someone can help identify this... First of all, I see this thing VERY often. Since it first appeared, I have probably seen this thing maybe 8 different times since the first appearance. My friend and I went out the next day after I first saw it to get the photos, but it was not there. Then we tried again the next day, and we found it within like 30 minutes and followed it for a while. Most of the time I see it out of windows in my house, in the distance. but I would say almost half of the hikes I have gone on in my area, I have seen it very close. It is very easy to photograph and... many neighbors aside from my friend have also seen it. It is almost totally silent but not quite. It makes kind of "crackling" noises. It's hard to describe them but they are only intermittent and not very loud, but you can notice them. Sometimes there is a very slight hum that sounds kind of mechanical, almost like when you are near very large power lines. But it is nothing loud like a jet engine, it is very quiet for the most part. It moves almost like an insect. If you have ever seen a bug on a pond, it is kind of like that. It is VERY smooth and slow most of the time, but then every now and then it will rotate very quickly and go VERY fast into another direction, then stop, and repeat the process all over again. There is just something very unnatural about the way it moves. Also, I have had maybe 4 headaches in the last week, and I am normally not the kind of person who really ever gets them. Also my wife has been tired and fatigued lately. She is about a month pregnant, and the doctor said fatigue is normal around this time, but I worry that it is a lot. Basically what I'm worried is that this "craft" has got some kind of radiation or something. Like I said, it sounds like power lines if you get close enough to it. Obviously I am worried for our health, especially with a baby on the way. I dont know if they are related, but again, this is why I really hope someone can answer these questions!

Lake Tahoe-05-05-07
My husband and I were in Lake Tahoe over the weekend. We left on Friday afternoon and came back Monday morning. On Saturday at about 7 PM, I was walking out to my car to get a sweater when I saw this thing in the sky. It was pretty close I think, but still above the trees. It was moving and spinning slowly, heading towards my right. I was startled and confused at first and wanted to take a picture, but our camera was still inside so I took two pictures with my camera phone before it passed behind the roof of the house. I ran around to the other side and was yelling to my husband to come out. We came around the other side and saw it just as it was going down behind some trees. He didn't get a good look at it, but he saw enough to convince him that it was something really strange. We decided to take a drive around the area to see if we could see it again, but we never did. We didn't see it the next day either. Since we were renting the cabin for the weekend we didn't know any nearby residents but I would bet at least a few other people saw it. It was very visible and very strange looking. I was definitely a little freaked out but my husband didn't seem very bothered by it. He was more interested in it than scared. He wanted to drive around a lot longer trying to find it than I did! It didn't make any noise except for a very, very faint sound that is hard to describe but sounded like something vibrating. We both heard the sound although just barely. It moved in a very straight line when it went over the house but when we saw it on the other side of the house, when it was going down behind the trees, it made a very sharp turn. It didn't move like a helicopter or airplane, it was very "exact". We did see one person on our drive who was a few blocks away taking a walk and asked him if he saw it, and he said no. Then we asked him if he heard any weird noise and tried to describe it as best we could, and he said he might have but he wasn't sure. By this time it was at least 20 minutes since we first saw the thing so who knows. MUFON Submitter 7013

Lately, there have been a number of UFO sightings and one compelling video taken of UFOs over the Dumfries and Galloway area of Scotland. Also, some odd reaction to forest fires in the area have prompted some to believe that a UFO may have crashed there. Below find some of the evidence of the recent happenings in Scotland.

UFO Report-March the 15th was my birthday and we had been in Moffat for a dinner. When we left at about 10 pm I remember that it was a clear and starry night. But the above report brings to mind (I have probably related this to your before), about the time when my friend Ann and myself had gone to Collin and out into the countryside, the road winds up onto a small hill and you can get a good view. That night we had seen an orange sausag- shaped craft hovering in the sky. But there were no flashing lights. That is the same night that a star shaped object was circled by a jet fighter, which proves that the military are well aware of what these objects may or may not be, at least they ARE aware of them. Forest Fires Burn out of Control-John Ross and Bob Geddes FORESTRY workers and firefighters were yesterday trying to contain woodland and grass fires in Scotland. A blaze burned out of control in the Galloway Forest Park for the second day running. Firefighters were called to the blaze on Sunday morning, but because of the inaccessible area miles into the park, the Forestry Commission called in helicopters. A specialist team was brought in yesterday to bring the blaze burning on a five-mile front near Loch Dee in between New Galloway and Newton Stewart under control. More than 60 square miles of grass and trees have been destroyed in the fire, which is thought to have been started accidentally by campers. Helicopters have been using a fine spray to put out the fire and prevent it spreading. A Dumfries and Galloway Fire and Rescue spokesman said: "We had to withdraw crews from the hillsides at night and we have not been asked to go back. The commission have brought in a specialist team." The Galloway Forest Park covers more than 300 square miles and is one of the country's most picturesque areas with forest, moorland, lochs and mountains. Meanwhile, more than 60 firefighters spent over a day tackling a blaze that destroyed 13 square miles of moorland in the Highlands. The fire has also affected four acres of forest near Bettyhill in Sutherland. Last night, the outbreak was under control. source: http://business.scotsman.com/topics.cfm?tid=962&id=589212007
Pair Report Unidentified Lights-A mother and daughter have been trying to gain an explanation for "strange lights" in the sky over Dumfries as they returned home. Debbie and Imogen Easton were heading home with a takeaway meal on Glasgow Street when they saw a set of lights. They spotted further bright objects in the sky near the town's Ice Bowl. A spokesman for Dumfries Astronomical Society said the description was "highly unusual" but may have been caused by a satellite or fighter jet. It is the third such report of unusual lights in the region so far this year. Earlier this month a similar incident was reported by a woman in Tinwald village and in January there were calls to police from people reporting a "fireball" in the sky over Dumfries. It was an unidentified flying object - because I don't know what it was Debbie Easton That was later attributed to Comet McNaught. Mrs Easton said she had just picked up her Indian meal at about 2000 GMT when she spotted what she described as an unusual glow in the sky. "It was like two big orange balls of light - bright orange - just coming towards us," she said. "I said to my daughter let's just watch them and see what happens. "I was actually hoping they would come right over so we could see what they were." Fizzled out- However, she said the lights disappeared before they could get a closer look. "They came towards us slowly and just very slowly fizzled out together at the same time," said Mrs Easton. "I thought, gosh, what was that? That was strange. "We drove off just as another one came from the same direction - by this time we were round at the Ice Bowl." The pair said they stopped and got out of their car as yet another light appeared. "They all just fizzled out at the same time, at the same point," she said. "It was an unidentified flying object - because I don't know what it was." Mrs Easton said her daughter was more scared by the experience. "My daughter said I'm getting back into the car - am I going to be abducted by aliens? Is it going to be the end of the world?" said Mrs Easton. "I said 'I don't think so' - but it was strange." Iridium satellites-
Mark Toner, president of Dumfries Astronomical Society, said the incident was certainly unusual. "It doesn't sound like anything astronomical," he said. "There are things called Iridium satellites - they are quite low and tend to reflect the sun very brightly. "One of those can catch the light and it looks like a searchlight has been turned on." However, he said the light was usually white and it was not common to spot more than one at a time. Mr Toner said another explanation might have been the glow of engines of a fighter jet in the distance which had then banked away. Jackie GilliesSunday, May 6, 2007-8.30m in the Moffat area what looks like a classic Adamski ship. Still photos and video footage are available contact scottishandrew @ btinternet.comSo the facts: Big fire in inaccessible wilderness-that sounds like a UFO crash-60 experienced firefighters were dismissed and not co-opted in any auxiliary capacity-so that an elite unit could handle the job–then not long after that a spate of UFO sightings 20 miles north and south of the fire area and location. UFO recovery might realistically take place within 5-10 square miles but what or who are the ETs sweeping for 20 miles north... Is Captain Goog and his first officer Zarg still on the run-the problem for authorities is probably that neither wierdo in the silver suits would make it past the nightclub exit in one of those Scottish borders towns on a Saturday night. source: scottishandrew @ btinternet.com |

Many people refer to me as the "Mother of UFO Abduction." My husband and I were abducted in 1961, after seeing a glowing object on a lonely road. After we underwent regressive hypnosis, the harrowing events of our experience were revealed. Our case is considered the landmark of UFO abduction cases, and was one of the very first of its kind.

By Jil Schult, Staff WriterPosted Saturday, May 5, 2007 12:20 AM EDT LEWISTON — Claims of UFOs flying over Lewiston Wednesday night were quickly discredited by officials who said they were conducting military training. Area resident Jeff Nickert, who called the Herald Times at approximately 5:30 a.m. Thursday, is not convinced. “It kinda freaked me out,” said the Lewiston man in a telephone interview Thursday. “I never saw anything like this in my life.” Nickert explained seeing “electricity floating through the air” or “a mass of energy floating through the air” when he returned home from work at approximately 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. “There were four or five diamond-shaped UFOs,” Nickert said. “Then fighter jets — out of nowhere — there were 20 jets in the air.” Predawn and through the day Thursday, Nickert contacted police, Camp Grayling, television news and newspapers to report his observations. “There were a lot of (smart) remarks,” said Nickert, not convinced anyone was taking him too seriously. Nickert contacted the National UFO Association, who he claims told him to fill out some forms on the Internet and not to talk to anyone. “I’d like to find what was in sky,” he said. Mike Boguth, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service (NWS) south of Gaylord, said there was nothing at all unusual weather-wise Wednesday night. “I don’t know what people are seeing,” said Col. Tom Lamie of Camp Grayling who noted his personnel were doing nothing to produce any strange lights or anything else Wednesday or Thursday. Maj. Andrew Roberts of the Grayling Aerial Gunnery Range, an extension of the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center, which is off Marlette Road near Waters, said fighter jets were in the sky Wednesday night from 8:40-11. “Our area does extend within 10 miles of Lewiston,” said Roberts. Nickert claims the action he witnessed in the sky lasted much longer. “Those jets were flying way after 11. It lasted ’til about 7:30 this morning,” he insisted. His mother agrees. According to Denise Nickert, who went outside several times Wednesday night, a lot of jets were swarming around these “masses of light with a kind of electricity floating through them and changing colors. “They moved pretty swiftly, effortlessly,” said Denise Nickert. Roberts said approximately seven aircraft were in and around the area from the Waters location to Alpena. The practicing pilots use flares that have a heat signature to train for being shot at overseas, he explained. One of the primary weapons the enemy uses is shoulder-launched missiles, which seek the heat of the aircraft’s engines. Flare decoys are used so the missile doesn’t hit the aircraft. “They were not flares,” said Denise Nickert. “I don’t know what they were, but they were not flares.” She described how the masses would split in half several times and never dissipate. She said they were not northern lights and not stars. “There was some real bizarre stuff going on,” she said, adding, “they were incredibly beautiful.” Jeff Nickert said during his research on Thursday, the same things he described had been spotted in five other states during the last week. He did his research on mufon.com and nationalufocenter.com. “Our jets were not fighting UFOs,” said Master Sgt. Alan VanPate of the Grayling Aerial Gunnery Range. VanPate added the jets were flying at an altitude of anywhere between 23,000 feet to 500 feet at any given time.

Damon, Texas, September 3, 1965:
About 11:00 p.m. on the night of Friday, September 3, Deputy Sheriff Bob Goode, 50, was driving his patrol car south out of Damon in Texas toward West Columbia on Highway 36. Since he had suffered a bite on his left index finger earlier that day from a baby alligator, he had asked Chief McCoy along in the event the pain flared up and interfered with his driving. It was a sparkling clear moonlit Texas night, and Goode rested his arm in the open window of the door as they drove through the prairie. Suddenly McCoy spotted a bright purple light on the horizon to the Southwest which appeared to be about five to six miles distant. At first they thought it might be something in the nearby oil fields, perhaps an oil-drilling rig. But then a blue light, smaller in diameter than the purple light, emerged from it and moved to the right before stopping. Both lights remained in this orientation for a while before beginning to drift upward. This upward floating motion continued until the objects reached an elevation of 5-10 degrees above the horizon. Goode then studied the lights through a pair of binoculars, but could not make out any additional features. As their curiosity mounted, the officers began to look for back roads that might take them closer to the lights. They stopped again, and this time the lights suddenly swooped toward them, covering the intervening distance in 1-2 seconds, abruptly stopping practically overhead. Their patrol car and the surrounding terrain were brightly illuminated in purple light. They could now see that the purple and blue lights were attached to opposite ends of an enormous object, hovering about 150 feet from them at about a 100-foot altitude. In his later statement to the Air Force, McCoy described what he saw: "The bulk of the object was plainly visible at this time and appeared to be triangular shaped with a bright purple light on the left end and the smaller, less bright, blue light on the right end. The bulk of the object appeared to be dark gray in color with no other distinguishing features. It appeared to be about 200 feet wide and 40-50 feet thick in the middle, tapering off toward both ends. There was no noise or any trail. The bright purple light illuminated the ground directly underneath it and the area in front of it, including the highway and the interior of our patrol car. The tall grass under the object did not appear to be disturbed. There was a bright moon out and it cast a shadow of the object on the ground immediately below it in the grass." To both men, the object seemed to be "as big as a football field." Goode could feel strong heat emanating from the object onto his left arm, through his shirt-sleeve.
The Damon, Texas sighting took a second seat to the more celebrated Exeter, New Hampshire case which occurred on the same date... I could find no other UFO reports on this date of any note. Could the unknown objects which were seen earlier on the same day in New Hampshire have flown southwesterly down the Eastern coast of the United States, and moved over the Texas town of Damon?
After a few seconds, with the strange object hovering almost directly overhead, they fled the scene and headed toward Damon "as fast as we could go," making speeds of up to 110 miles per hour. McCoy kept watching the object out the rear window of the car. For 10 to 15 seconds, the UFO continued to hover above the pasture. Then it abruptly shot back in the direction from which it had come. "After arriving at approximately its original position," McCoy reported, "it went straight up in the air and disappeared at 25-30 degrees above the horizon." Back at Damon, the shaken officers calmed themselves, and then decided to go back and investigate again. This time they drove down the Damon-West Columbia road, but saw nothing. Finally they returned to the area where they had first seen the lights, and once again spied the purple light on the horizon, and again saw the smaller blue light emerge with a strange two-step motion and float upward. Fearing another close encounter, they again fled the area. Goode and McCoy continued on their shift until three or four in the morning, then stopped for breakfast at a cafe. Goode noted that his alligator bite was no longer sore, and when he unwrapped the bandage he discovered that the swelling had gone down and that the wound was nearly healed. Next day, the wound showed virtually no scarring. The deputies reported the sighting to Ellington Air Force Base, and Major Laurence Leach, Jr., arrived on September 8, 1965, to interview McCoy and Goode and take a statement. Leach's report to Project Blue Book headquarters at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base reflected his puzzlement. "There is no doubt in my mind," he said, "that they definitely saw some unusual object or phenomenon... Both officers appeared to be intelligent, mature, level-headed persons capable of sound judgment and reasoning." US Air Force put this case in the "unknown" category. written by B J Booth Also See: True Article on Damon, Texas Sightings sources: Air Force unidentified case, Project Blue Book files, National Archives. May, 1997-I was a assistant manager of a Fred's dollar store in Guntersville, Alabama, coming home from work one Sunday afternoon just outside of town heading back toward Sumiton. I was approx 3 miles out of town in a line of traffic my eyes were drawn to the left side of the road in a cow pasture I saw a bubble shaped object bigger than a house about 50 ft above the ground moving very slowly across the field.
It was kind of crossways of where I was looking the craft made no noise as I could tell and the cattle kept on grazing like nothing was there. The craft much larger than a house was round but was reflecting the surroundings like the creature in the movie predator (which is why we don't see them like the 70's they have a new technology that makes them look see thru). I have always had acuity in my eyes that an animal or small bird will draw my sight on the side of the road I watched this craft about 2 min until it drifted sideways to me then shot straight up and out of sight with tremendous speed but without as much as waving the grass with no sound and as far as I could tell I was the only one that saw it. I was not on any medications at the time had not been smoking or drinking and was on my way home from work I wrote everything down as soon as I got home and tried to report this to all the military air force army and such with not even an answer to my email. I later got my nursing license and worked for several yrs as an L.P.N. I saw another one in the 70's in Dora with the lights and all but never told anyone this is different and the reason no one hardly ever sees one now they are using a new technology to hide themselves. 05-03-07-Coming home from the mall we saw several bright lights in the sky flashing green and red. From one or two of these we did hear some engine sounds.
After getting home we began to see more of these flashing objects, each approaching from the same direction about 2 minutes apart. These objects were moving slowly and moved toward the western part of the sky. Once they reached the western sky, they seemed to begin to circle around the Tinley Park / Orland Park area. These objects do not appear to make any noise as they traveled. These flashing lights actually seemed to descend to where they could not have been more than a couple thousand feet off the ground. What was really unusual was that they were moving so slow that they looked to be hovering in the lower part of the sky. Three or four of these objects could be seen at one time. While we were watching these slowly moving flashing objects, we noticed a stationary green and red light flashing object in the southwest sky. This object did not move for the entire hour we were watching it. I know this was not a tower light, as it was too high and too large. I have lived in the area for almost 20 years and had never seen this before. We called the police to report the observation; apparently there were no other reports that night. Next day at school my children learned from several friends that they had seen these things also. source: www.mufon.com |

04-28-07-I was in the Holley area. I was driving down a hill and looked up. And there it was floating in the sky. It was a metallic color and cigar shaped. It was not an airplane. It was close enough to see that it was not one. It was lower than airplanes usually fly, so you could see that it had no wings. I first noticed it when I was driving and something told me to look up. When I first saw it I didn't know what to think. It was a chunk of metal hovering in the sky. When I realized that it had no wings, I got a huge rush of adrenaline. When I looked at it more and noticed the shape and color. First thing I did was note the time. My girlfriend was in the car, but at the angle she was at she could not see it. I told her & she tried but couldn't. I tried to follow it, but the road cut off. It went out if sight in the trees.Tom-www.ufocasebook.com |
