UFO PHOTO 'PROOF' (Hovers over Selby, U. K.)
UFO

30 May 2006-THIS X-Files image shows what is believed to be a UFO hovering over a well-known Selby beauty spot. The photo – taken by Selby resident Jody Holden – has been described by friend and fellow UFO enthusiast Russell Kellett as "one of the most powerful UFO images ever captured".

The duo are both members of the British UFO Hunters but insist they don't have to do much hunting to find extra terrestrial activity in the town.

Russell said the image of an alien spacecraft looking down on Brayton Barff was captured a month ago.

He added: "At first Jody looked and thought it was an aeroplane, but on closer inspection he saw it was a saucer with a two-tier effect."

The 42-year-old Filey resident explained he was ready to give up his research after he believed his work wasn't being taken seriously enough.

"People around the world have been sending us messages and e-mails telling us not to give up. This is a very powerful image, one of the best I've ever seen. We know it's not simply plasma making this happen; we've heard this all before. "People need to be aware just what's going on, or at least that there's something a little bit mysterious occurring."

A report released by the MOD recently revealed 15 per cent of UFO sightings in 2005 occurred in North Yorkshire.

As exclusively revealed in the Selby Times last year, the town recorded an unprecedented 33 cases of X-File phenomena in 2004, shooting the district to third spot in the British UFO Hunters' activity top ten.

Any budding extra terrestrial seekers out there are urged to contact Russell's hotline on 01723 514700 with reports of sightings, or visit the www.UFO–paranormal.co.uk website.

Is the Truth out There in Northern Saskatchewan?
UFO
CBC News- Armed with a Polaroid camera and a variety of electronic gear, Barb Campbell is on the hunt for unidentified flying objects in northern Saskatchewan.

The UFO researcher from Maidstone is focusing her search these days on the northern reserve of Waterhen Lake, where strange lights have been spotted for years and where there have recently been vivid tales of close encounters.

Night watchman Kenny Lapratt said he was on duty one night several weeks ago when he saw what he believes were spaceships hovering over the lake, which is about a four-hour drive north of Prince Albert.

"It's kind of like a Frisbee, two Frisbees on top of another, like an orange in the middle," he said.

"And they were turning at an incredible rate. It was just like you could see the windows turning one way and the ship, the bottom part, turning the other way. And whatever way on top it was like glowing. I don't know what it was but it was beautiful."

Lapratt said he saw several objects landing on the lake, then zipping away at high speed toward the treeline.

Then they shot straight up.

"I just panicked … I didn't know what to do," he said. He called the police.

Campbell hasn't seen any lights on the reserve yet, but many other people there on the reserve have seen them and have told her their stories.

One woman showed her a video showing more than three minutes of moving lights.

"This really looks genuine," she said as she watched the video again. "I'm really impressed."

Some of the people who have observed the lights don't know what they were looking at, but Lapratt said he doesn't have any doubts.

"They were UFOs," he said. "They couldn't be anything else."

19 April 2006-Small Spherical UFO Follows Pennsylvania Driver
UFO

Today I interviewed a witness who reported having an unusual encounter with a small luminous object on April 7, 2006. This woman was driving on Route 271, and heading west between Johnstown and Ligonier. The vehicle was moving at about 40 mph and all was normal when suddenly the driver noticed a bright source of light towards the passenger side window. At first the driver thought it was the headlight of an approaching car reflecting on her side mirror. The operator soon realized that there was no car following her. The witness slowed down to about 15 mph so that she could take a better look at this unusual light.

About 3 feet away from the window, was a bright spherical object, about the size and shape of a standard car headlight. The solid round object was glowing a bright white light. On the outside leading edge of the sphere, was a crescent shaped attachment that glowed of a very bright yellow color. The light from the object while very bright, was not blinding.

The object continued to follow along with the vehicle for about 1/2 mile. The object while maintaining it's position in front of the window, would move at times about an inch or two, up and down. The driver watched as the sphere backed away from the window, then arched upwards, and moved out of sight. The witness heard no sound, and all operations of her vehicle operated normally during this experience.

POLAND: UFO over Kedzierzyn Kozle, 04-03-06
UFO
Kedrzierzyn - Kozle [woj.opolskie], 03/04/06, 16:30.

Mr. Jedrzej [read: Yentzshey] from Kedzierzyn - Kozle [read: Kendsieshyn - Kozshle] playing football on a nearby playing ground when he looked up and saw an object dissimilar to a plane.

It looked like a two dishes joined together. It was moving with constant speed without any rapid movements. Its hull surface was metallic and he was able to noticed sunbeams reflecting in it. The witness is sure that the object "wasn't a product of human".

The sighting took place on April 3rd 2006 at about 4.30 pm. behind the "Manhattan" sport hall in Kedzierzyn - Kozle.

Sudbury man keeps an eye on the sky
UFO
UFO researcher is writing a book about sightings in Northern Ontario

Michel Deschamps, a UFO researcher/historian, has spent several years compiling data on UFO sightings in Sudbury and Northern Ontario.

He has investigated abductions, UFO crash sites and obtained “official” UFO documents. Deschamps has witnessed 17 sightings since the age of nine.

He encourages people to contact him with their experiences and is currently writing a book on the history of flying objects, abductions, crop circles and other paranormal activities across Northern Ontario. Deschamps shared his findings at a workshop during the weekend at Rayvin’s Eclectic Enchantments. It was the first one he has presented in six years. Only a handful of people attended, but one could tell by the binders of documents he hauled in with him that Deschamps takes his work very seriously. He stood behind a podium and said when it comes to the subject of UFOs, people are more “close-minded” than they were 15 years ago.

Today, people are reluctant to admit they’ve seen something unusual hovering in the skies overhead and are even more reluctant to leave their name with him. Glancing at Sudbury Star newspaper clippings, it’s surprising the amount of space that was dedicated to reports of flying objects. Eye witnesses are clearly identified, including their exact address. In 1948, for example, Joe Caruso of 294 Albinson St., spotted a “long oval-shaped black object with 20-foot orange-coloured sparks shooting out from the rear.”

“To me, newspaper articles are our history a history that is not spoken of often,” Deschamps said.

Most people are skeptical of his work and tell Deschamps there’s no physical evidence of close encounters of the first, second, third or fourth kind. With encounters of the first kind, there is no interaction between the eyewitness and UFO, while encounters of the second kind involve actual landings often involving scorched ground.

Encounters of the third kind include sightings of aliens or human-like entities, while abductions are characteristic of encounters of the fourth kind. The largest number of UFO sightings in Sudbury occurred during the summer of 1967, when there were eight incidents reported. While it became known as the (psychedelic) summer of love, the 1967 sightings were so vivid eyewitnesses often called the Ontario Provincial Police and the Canadian Forces station at Falconbridge to report what they saw.

In one incident, police were called to investigate a report of an attempted UFO landing, but when they tried to contact headquarters there was “heavy radio interference,” the Sudbury Star reported. Often a UFO sighting was corroborated by other people who saw the object from different areas of the city. It was 1974 when Deschamps, then nine years old, had his first UFO encounter. He was playing with friends at the end of Pharand Street in Hanmer when something caught his eye.

“I remember seeing this metallic silver-looking ball above the tree line. It was probably no more than one-metre wide. I thought it was an advertising balloon, so I looked to see if it was tied down. It wasn’t.”

Years later, Deschamps bought a book about UFOs and one chapter discussed sightings in the Sudbury area, particularly sightings during the first few weeks of July 1974 the time he figures he saw the UFO.

“Up until then, I thought I had imagined it,” he said. That’s when Deschamps started spending considerable time conducting research.

“I still get bugged at work,” said Deschamps, who works at Wal-Mart.

Deschamps created posters of physical evidence to show skeptics, including: cow mutilations, sketches of eyewitness accounts and photographs of crop circles one of which was discovered in Spring Bay on Manitoulin Island in the early 1990s. Called a hoax by non-believers, to this day Deschamps says there’s no way it was a joke. The imprints look like they were burned and they’re located off a beaten path. Surely if it was a hoax, the jokers would have placed the crop circles in an area frequented by passersby, he said.

Shortly after that experience, Deschamps joined the UFO Network, an Internet-based initiative designed to unite researchers across the world. He is also a member of the Mutual UFO Network. Many UFO sightings have occurred in mining areas like Copper Cliff, Garson and Falconbridge, he said. Deschamps said that’s because a mining centre gives alien life an indication of our technology base. “If NASA is interested in us, I’m sure others are curious, too.”

Cylindrical UFO Photographed over Modesto, CA, 05-31-06
UFO

BJ,

I was taking my son to the bus this morning. (05/31/06 ) I got him on the bus and waved goodbye to his driver. As I turned around and began to walk back to the house, I noticed a bright cylinder like object that was moving silently in the sky towards the West just above the roofline of the house. The fact that it was silent and so brilliant caught my attention.

I went into the house and quickly grabbed my camera and ran out to the backyard, where I knew that I would have a better view.

The long cylinder like object was still there, moving ever so slowly toward the Northwest. I snapped about four pictures of the object.

An item of interest is that this UFO looks very similar to a photo that you have posted a few days ago from Chatsworth, CA. ( I am in Modesto, CA. )

The winds were calm, a perfectly clear day, no clouds - object about 30 degrees above the Western horizon and moving slowly towards the NW, completely silent, no engine noise at all.

From the UFO Casebook Archives...
Kentucky Train Collision with Disk UFO, 2002
UFO

Paintsville, Kentucky -- At exactly 2:47 a.m. on January 14, 2002, while working a coal train enroute from Russell, Kentucky to Shelbiana, Kentucky, our trailing unit and first two cars were severely damaged as we struck an unknown floating or hovering object. I know it was 2:47 because my watch froze, and to this day shows that time. Along with my watch the entire electrical systems on both locomotives went haywire. Approaching a bend near milepost 42 in an area referred to as the Wild Kingdom, for the many different types of animals spotted there, my conductor and I saw lights coming from around the way. This ordinarily means another train is coming and will pass on the other track. The outlay of the area is this, the river, #1 track, #2 tracks and a straight up mountainside, carved out for the laying of these tracks. I killed our lights as not to blind the oncoming crew. As we rounded the corner our onboard computer began to flash in and out, speed recorder went nuts, and both locomotives died. Alarm bells began to ring and that’s when we saw the objects. Apparently scanning the river for something. At least three objects had several "search" lights trained there, the first object hovered about 10 to 12 feet above the track.

It was metallic silver in color with multiple colored lights near the bottom and in the middle. There were no windows or openings of any kind that we could see. It was 18 to 20 feet in length and probably ten feet high. With both engines dead as we rounded the corner we made little noise and the first object did not respond in time, I estimate that we hit the object at 30 mph with 16,000 trailing tons behind us. It clipped the top of our lead unit then skipped back slicing a chunk out of our trailing unit and first two coal cars. The other objects vanished.

Our emergency brakes had initiated due to the loss of power and we stopped approximately a mile and a half to two miles after impact. Our power restored after we were stopped and we notified our dispatcher, located in Jacksonville, Florida of what had happened. We were told to inspect the cars to see if they'd hold the rail and try to limp into milepost cmg 60 which used to be the Paintsville yard which is no longer in full operation. We checked everything out and the cab of the rear locomotive was demolished and smoking, the second two cars looked as if they had been hit with a giant hammer, but looked like they'd hold the rail.

We pulled into Paintsville yard at approximately 5:15 am. The huge overhead lights lining the yard were noticeably dark and the only lights came from what we assumed were railroad officials vehicles parked near the end of the track. We pulled to a stop and began unloading our grips off the wounded train. We could hear what sounded like an army of workers immediately tending to our train. Vehicle doors slamming, guys running by in weird outfits and lights glaring from all directions, the one thing missing was railroad officials.

A guy named Ferguson shook my hand and asked me to follow him into the old yard office. We did, once inside they, and by they I mean I have no idea who these people were, began to ask us hundreds of questions, they then told us for our own protection we'd be medically tested before we could leave. I asked repeatedly to talk to my road foreman or trainmaster and not only were these requests denied but they confiscated my conductor’s cellular phone. Hours later we were led outside the old yard office and the strange things continued to happen, the 2 locomotives and two cars were removed from the rest of the train we had brought in and my only guess was parked 4 tracks over under a huge tent like structure buzzing with activity. We were led off the property and told, due to national security, our silence on this matter would be appreciated.

We were then put in a railroad vehicle and taken to Martin, Kentucky were we went through questioning again with railroad officials and were then drug tested. After all of this we were sent on to Shelbiana, where we took rest for 8 hours and worked another train back to Russell. Working back we passed by Paintsville, no sign of the engines, cars, tent, people, nothing. Thanks to

California Triangle
Carmichael -- My daughter and I were driving northbound on Manzanita Avenue at about 9:50 PM, on May 12, 2006. We were approaching an intersection to come to a stop when we saw very chaotic flashing deep red and brilliant white strobe lights in front of us. They were in the north sky. There were other cars around us. We were able to see a shape like a straight line. It was horizontal and moving from slanted left to right. It was very large the size of the full moon or bigger. It suddenly pulled away further north faster than we could track it.

Our light turned green but all the cars were hesitant to go including myself. I finally resumed driving north keeping my eye on the object which was still strobing. The object came to a sudden stop while we were still traveling north for four minutes. The object was actually very close to a light tower off in the distance and it just sat there hovering. The lights went off and the object was a dark triangle. Then, very quickly white lights appeared on top of the craft in a cone shape. Then, it seemed to shift but we couldn't tell if it was clockwise or counter clockwise. The cone shaped light appeared on the bottom of the craft and the lights were a deep red. It began circling the tower in a clockwise direction several times. We were getting ready to stop. I looked up towards the object and the object was gone. Thanks to Peter Davenport http://www.UFOcenter.com

San Diego, 1980-It was in 1980 I was driving east on interstate 8 out of San Diego. I was close to the big navy base and figured it was a large plane as I had seen them while I was there. I was traveling at about midnight when I saw a group of bright lights going the direction I was going when I realized those big planes, C 5 -A' will not fly at 65 mph. They were going the same speed as me, 65 mph. I turned off my radio and there was no sound, at all! They just flew at the speed I was going. I never said anything because I felt I'd be hounded, I still don't know what it was. thanks to E. H. source: www.ufocasebook.com

Florida Silver Object and Golden Lights
Panama City Beach -- I saw very large amber colored lights light up over the Gulf of Mexico on May 2, 2006, at 9 PM. There were two lit then two next to those lit then it did it again. There were four large gold colored lights. The duration of the sighting was for two minutes. Then, it completely disappeared in the night sky, or the lights went out. I saw it two more times. Then, I saw several aircraft immediately in the area. I did not see the planes but I could hear them and see the blinking red light on the back of them. It was weird. The object was in the SW close to the beach appearing just between the horizon and below a satellite to the left of the moon. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director http://www.UFOcenter.com

Fort Myers – On May 3, 2006 at 6:35 PM, the witness saw a high altitude silver object hovering then moving in a slow southwest trajectory for fifteen minutes. The object was a silver ball that appeared to be of metallic substance as it reflected the sunlight as an aircraft would. The object first appeared as a faint star-like object at very high altitude. I had jet aircraft as well as the moon in the sky at the same time to use as a gauge as to its height. I estimate the object to have been at ten to fifteen miles high. I had to strain to keep the object in my field of vision as I was in the swimming pool and I normally wear glasses. I observed the object approximately fifteen minutes and during this time of observation the UFO moved only very perceptibly about a 45 degree trajectory from due east, to south southwest when I was no longer able to perceive it with the naked eye at about 18:50 hours. It didn't have satellite or weather balloon flight characteristics.

The observer served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Coast Guard as a radarman and has had much experience observing all types of aircraft. I feel it was a fairly large contact to have stayed visible for the length of time it did at that height. ((NUFORC spoke with this witness via telephone, and he seemed to us to be quite credible, and quite sincere. We suspect he is an excellent witness. PD)) Thanks to Peter Davenport NUFORC http://www.nuforc.org/

Kentucky Cigar Craft
South Shore -- On April 28, 2006, at 6 PM, I was at our family reunion when my brother started to scream. We looked up at the sunny sky and saw a cigar shape craft coming in from the northwest towards Portsmouth, Ohio. It slowed down as it passed us. It was eerie as it seemed to be observing us. My aunt was so shocked to see such a craft that she passed out. We then noticed two jets chasing the craft as it headed towards Grayson, Kentucky. This was a really strange experience for me. The sighting was in the Daily Times and we reported it to the South Shore Police Department but they never got back with us. Thanks to Peter Davenport NUFORC http://www.UFOcenter.com
Idaho Changing Color, Blinking Circle
Twin Falls – I was making a quick run to the store to pick up a few items and my three children, 15, and 11, asked to stay in the car with our two large dogs to watch lightening way off in the east on May 15, 2006. When I came out about 10 minutes later they pointed out a star, but said, it could not be a star because it was blinking different colored lights. I saw it very far off, and it was indeed changing color, blinking, but I could not discern whether it might have been a satellite or a plane.

We spotted five round white objects, stationery (N,NE,NW) flashing green and red lights. When we got home, we took a closer look and it was BLINKING red, white and green north towards Boise. I called a medical doctor friend who has a telescope. He has called back and has verified sighting one object. He is an excellent source. He could not see any of the others as his property is obstructed by trees. We are considering that they may be stars, and the atmosphere may be causing the color change, but we are both skeptical. Thanks to Peter Davenport http://www.UFOcenter.com

Indiana Triangle
Franklin -- Coming home from work on rural roads on May 3, 2006 at 10:35 PM, I saw a triangle shape with three lights, one on each point, and one in middle, hovering over Union Elementary School location in Union Township. I stopped the car and got out to observe. It was about 1500 feet in altitude and very clearly triangle shaped and made absolutely no sound. The shape itself appeared to be deep black, darker than the night sky, almost seemed to absorb any light, and the lights did not appear to illuminate anything under it. This is in restricted military airspace for Camp Atterbury, which is located 20 miles south. I observed carefully until the craft slowly moved off to the northwest. My mother also had a sighting of the same type of object over our house 3 miles southeast of this location on 11/8/04. She states, "There was no sound and the triangle craft was very low to the ground hovering. Thanks to Peter Davenport http://www.UFOcenter.com
New York Sphere
Carthage -- On May 1, 2006, about 9:20 PM, we were driving along route 3 A when in the trees to our right we saw a sphere shaped object with red and blue flashing lights. The object appeared to be in the trees very low to the ground. We then turned the car around to go back and see what it was. It was moving away quickly and the lights turned off. It seemed as if it was disappearing before our eyes. We kept driving back and forth trying to spot it, but there was no sight of it. Thanks to Peter Davenport NUFORC http://www.nuforc.org/
Ohio Sightings
Cincinnati—On May 14, 2006, at 11 PM, I saw a light that moved on the west side of downtown that was round with a bright white light that would go "around." Then, I saw a search light type light up in the sky in multiple directions. It had other colors in sporadic patterns. It stayed in place for about 1/2 hour then disappeared. I went to another vantage point and saw it again doing the same actions. Later, it flew north of Cincy. It was located close to the airport, but it didn't move in any pattern, it just hovered very high up within plane paths I think. Thanks to Peter Davenport
Texas Dog Fight Between Stars
EL PASO -- At about 10:10 PM, on May 4, 2006, I was in my backyard when I saw a flash of lighting as the whole sky lit up on the north to west horizon. Nothing out of the ordinary, but there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. I told my wife about the event and couldn't figure it out, so I checked the local weather and current lighting strikes. Nearest strike was in Abliene, TX. Not a cloud in the sky. This got me curious, so I was looking in the sky for clouds or a storm. Looking to the northwest low to the horizon (now about 5- 10 minutes later), I saw 4-5 faint star looking objects floating around doing unbelievable maneuvers. These objects would be moving slow at first, then at lighting speed change direction.

You could see from one to three at a time. The best I can describe, it looked like a "dog-fight" between stars. They would move up and down, left to right, figure eights, you name it, zigzag, and at all different speeds. Their speed was unbelievable. This was not man-made! I notified my wife and woke up my 8 year old son to witness. My son got very scared and started crying. I called a buddy who lives 7 miles west of me but he didn't see anything, but his wife did. The whole event lasted 15 to 20 minutes. All their maneuvers stayed in the general location. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director http://www.UFOcenter.com

Lewisville -- Children at a local school playground observed two circular objects dancing in the sky on May 13, 2006, at 12:30 PM. Objects were observed lowering to horizon then rising. Both objects observed moving at fast speeds. Objects continued maneuvering over the area for one and half hours at about 35,000 feet. Objects were observed being chased by American aircraft. I've shown the picture to my mother and she told me to try and find out what it was. Thanks to Peter Davenport http://www.UFOcenter.com

Washington Sphere and Triangle
Redmond – The witness observed a triangle shaped craft flying low over the horizon on May 11, 2006, moving south east at 9 :25 PM. There were three lights spaced evenly apart about 5 stories apart only horizontal. Lights moved evenly with the craft. The lights flashed in a pattern of several colors. We watched the craft until it disappeared behind the trees. Craft moved smoothly at a fast speed. It was night time with a bright moon and a clear sky. Thanks to Peter Davenport http://www.UFOcenter.com

LONG BEACH -- My friends and I were out boating on May 11, 2006, when we saw a gyrating spherical object at 12:51 PM. It was as far up in the sky as a commercial flight craft. It was glowing very brightly and was visible in broad daylight. White lined with a red tint around the edges. It was utterly silent and everything seemed to get silenced as it came by as if some out of humanly detectible pitch was drowning out all other noise. Thanks to Peter Davenport http://www.UFOcenter.com

Canada-Glowing Balls of Light
UFO

Montreal-For several days I spotted up in the Montreal sky, glowing balls of lights. The dates were May 26-28. Balls were moving in the same direction, sometimes playing with the clouds. jumping and moving horizontal as well as vertically. On 05-28, I observed through binoculars, and made a drawing. I include a photo with one ball, which was all I could follow at one time. (name withheld) source: www.ufocasebook.com
UK/England North Sea Light and Silver Tube
Newcastle upon Tyne – On May 15, 2006, the witness reports seeing flying lights which crisscrossed and shot over to the sea, heading towards North Sea. ((NUFORC Note: Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

NORFOLK -- I'm 20 years old and about two years ago, two friends and I were sitting in the local park, it was broad daylight. None of us had a drop of alcohol, or smoked pot or anything. The sun was out, it was a clear blue sky. Then, we noticed a silver "tube" floating through the sky. There was no noise whatsoever. It was traveling very slowly. It looked quite near to the floor in terms of space travel. I'd say it was 200-300 feet high. It was traveling so slow, that we looked at it for so long, we got bored of it and just stopped watching it. Now back then none of us had camera phones, so there is no footage, or photos. It was only recently that I told someone else about this, they said you should look on the net. I am very surprised to see just how many "Tubes" have been seen. The one I saw defiantly was not a blimp, it was nowhere near high enough. It had no wing, no flame out the back, no lights (from what we could see, but it was daytime so they may not have been visible). I am glad to finally have told people about this, but I am very disappointed that I cannot provide photographic proof, because it would shock you all. It was so close and so visible for about 3-5 minutes. Thanks to Brian Vike www.hbccufo.com
