Six UFOs Photographed in Clouds over Pleasanton
June 13, 2007 7:14 PM-Date: 2007-06-05, 5:10PM-My friends did not believe I had spotted UFOs on Sunday over my house. They came over to my house today and we observed the skies for a few hours. At around 3:50 pm we noticed 6 large discs in the sky about 2 or 3 miles in the air. They were astounded to say the least. I had my camera ready and took six images of the discs before they flew over the horizon.

These 6 discs did not look similar to the ones I took On Sunday. They appeared to be smaller but I cannot be sure. They made no noise and flew changing positions never staying in the same air pattern.

My friends just stared at them as I did. They are still talking about it and are very excited.

I believe there is something going on in Pleasanton. It is very chilling to see these discs in the skies over Pleasanton. We watched the skies for several hours. I am still excited to see these discs today.

Unknown Object Photographed in Talent, Oregon
This Tuesday, June 12, 2007, in Talent Oregon, I was observing the heavy chemtrails that were beginning to be sprayed and decided to take some photos with my HP Photosmart M415 5.2 megapixel camera, hoping to perhaps catch one of the silver "spheres" appearing in so many photos, taken both purposefully and by "accident" (I don't believe in coincidence - too much synchronicity has taught me otherwise). Throughout the course of the afternoon I took dozens of photographs of the sky, the chemtrail planes, my family and my cats. I did not download the photos into my computer until late that night.

Late in the afternoon, before viewing the photos I had taken during the day, I was watching yet another chemtrail plane laying a swath of who-knows-what when I noticed a very dark spot that seemed to actually be within the trail of the plane itself, following perhaps 4"-5" behind, as one holds their fingers at arms length. I lost sight of the plane and its companion in the trees in my backyard after watching it for about 30 seconds. The pair were traveling NNW-SSE.

While I actually saw that dark spot trailing a jet in its chemtrail (and did not have my camera at that moment to get a shot of it) the objects I did get pictures of I did NOT see at the time of the shot being taken! I read this more and more in reports of UFOs, that the person taking the picture never saw the "craft". I can't help but think there is an interdimensional quality to these vehicles, and was very gratified that, while I did not get to photograph that specific craft, I did see in action what I had apparently already taken photographs of earlier in the day!

As for the photos: the best photo is shot toward the W-SW probably about 4-5pm (the time in my camera is haywire and I haven't yet figured it out; it registers as some 8-9 hours early I think). The other is likely within the same hour or two period of time, and is taken toward the NE. I have shot over 3000 pix with this camera at this point in time and am quite attentive to what I get. I have never gotten such an anomaly in my photography before. I find it very interesting as well that all of the objects, the two photographed and the one I saw, are black, or very dark. When was the last time you can recall seeing a black plane go by? These photos are not consistent with a bug, bird, plane, or balloon, all of which I have good samples of.

I welcome any photographic analysis you desire to perform. I only have the HP program that came with my camera, but with that I sense that it is an object and is appropriately lit for likely position and time of day. Please feel free to contact.

And by the way, while I was watching the chemtrails being sprayed I was putting forth the conscious intent that they not continue, as I am an aware being with free-will that should not be usurped in such an insidious fashion, and I was welcoming any possible assistance that could be provided!

My name is Frank W. Dunlap, and I am a shaman/chef and paranormal photographer (non-professional, just seeking a bit of truth and the greater mysteries that always follow suit!!!) in the Rogue Valley.

Mystery Plane Identified as Beechcraft Canard
We had many replies to a request to identify our reader's mystery craft which she drew for us, and many of them were very similar-looking. But, I believe we have a final answer. According to our eyewitness, the mystery plane was a Beechcraft Canard. By the way, our mystery witness and artist was Andrea.

See photos below-

"It's a Canard design, a Beechcraft... there are only a few around. It is very noisy, as the engines are props pointing backwards."

The aircraft is actually an Italian make called an Avanti, and it is an executive ferry/transport (like a business jet) carrying 6 passengers plus pilot and co-pilot.

I see planes like this periodically but regularly at Van Nuys airport, the busiest non-commercial airport in the world, here in Los Angeles.

I totally forgot that I took a picture of this aircraft one day while it was coming in for a landing at Van Nuys airport. I was at the Staples at Balboa and Chatsworth street, when this very noisy beast came over. It has a raised tail and two little rectangular canard winglets on the nose. I think this is "the hammerhead"!

Take care,

UFO Encounters Offers Unique Reference Point
UFO UFOEncounters was formed in late 2005 to offer a unique reference point on ufo sightings, facts and myths. Everyone thinks they've seen one at some stage. We discuss UFO phenomena and unearth the facts and the myths.

Our concern was that there was no single UK resource for interesting features and practical advice on this subject. Our features and articles are written by professional journalists and experts - who have a particular interest, or a background in this area.

Advertise your UFO site here, write for details.

What is the Object in Lunar Orbiter Photograph?
Lunar Orbiter

The photograph below was the Astronomy Picture of the Day on June 16th. I have been asked what the unusual object in the photo is. I have not a clue. Would any of our readers like to take a guess? Below is the basic information about the photo taken from the site that posted it.

Explanation: To prepare for the Apollo landings, five Lunar Orbiter spacecraft were launched during 1966 and 1967 to gather detailed images of our fair planet's large, natural satellite.

Dramatic views returned by the spacecraft cameras included this stark moonscape. The mosaic of 93 kilometer wide impact crater Copernicus features central peaks rising above the crater floor and rugged crater walls.

Flying Disc Captured in Photograph at L. A. Arboretum
UFO

I visited the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanical Gardens (in Arcadia) on Friday June 1st, 2007. My wife and I were looking to find a place to take our wedding pictures. We found this beautiful park; we were taking a tour of the place.

I snapped several pictures and drove home.

When I was downloading the pictures and viewing them, I noticed an object in one of the them. I do not know what it is...I am very interested to know what it is.

I hope you can help. Please share this picture with your listeners.

The Best Evidence of UFOs by Nick Redfern
UFO The Best Evidence of UFOs by Nick Redfern

Nick Redfern

Jun 08 2007-Earlier this week I received in the mail a DVD copy of Paul Kimball’s latest UFO documentary, Best Evidence: Top 10 UFO Sightings, which was made for Canada’s Space Channel.

This is a film that I have been looking forward to seeing for a long time: last summer, while we were both in the UK, Paul was telling me about some of the cases he would be using, and the commentators, researchers, authors and investigators who had agreed to come on board and be interviewed. And, as a result, it became pretty clear to me that this was going to be a good one. And indeed it is.

Thankfully, this is not some half-hearted effort, put together on a shoestring budget, with bad visuals, muddled voice-overs, and cheap special-effects. Rather, it is an excellent, thought- provoking and illuminating study of some of the most profound UFO cases on record.

The premise behind the production of Best Evidence is intriguing: Paul arranged for a multitude of leading lights in ufology to submit their "best" cases, and was finally able to whittle that huge array of reports down to those ten that appeared to offer the best evidence in support of a genuine UFO presence in our midst.

So, which incidents made it?

Well, coming in at number 10 (Yes, I know I sound like a DJ counting down the pop charts!) is the strange series of encounters that occurred at Nuremberg in 1561, in which countless UFOs were seen by awe-struck townsfolk - a story that continues to both intrigue and mystify people to this day. And both Stan Friedman and Don Ledger stress the important point that, as the Nuremberg case demonstrates, UFOs are nothing new, and stretch back centuries - if not even longer. At number 9 is the startling story of the Skylab encounter of 1973 - an encounter that involved three trained astronauts who were witness to a huge UFO, possibly 800 to 1,000 feet in diameter. As Brad Sparks notes, it is the credibility of the witnesses that really makes this event a strong one.

Then comes a notable encounter in Canada’s Yukon in December 1996, which - importantly - was supported by the independent testimony of various individuals, all of who were certain that some sort of huge object of unknown origin was operating in the Yukon skies on that winter’s night more than a decade ago. Stan Friedman discusses the Mother-ship scenario, and we are left with the question: was the giant Yukon UFO the cosmic equivalent of a Navy aircraft-carrier?

Case number 7 is both a profound and unsettling one, since it involves the apparent disabling by a UFO of the nuclear warheads (or at least the disabling of the ability to launch the nukes) at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana in 1967. Captain Robert Salas, USAF (Ret.) provides excellent, credible commentary on his own personal recollections of the affair and, today, is of the opinion that the intelligences behind the UFOs were trying to get a dramatic message across: get rid of your nuclear weapons.

Canada’s Shag Harbor encounter of October 1967 follows next. Although a UFO incident, it could quite easily be argued that in this case, the 'U' in UFO stood for 'underwater' just as much as it stood for 'unidentified'. With accounts of UFOs zipping in and out of the waters of Shag Harbor, of a concerned Canadian and US military, and seemingly highly advanced unidentified technology skulking around both in our skies and beneath the waves, this is a case that is truly eye-opening. Don Ledger, who is one of the leading investigators of the case, provides much food for thought.

Case number 5 is that of Kelly Johnson - of U2 spyplane fame - whose sighting in 1953 of a 200-foot long UFO is surely one of the most important on record; given the man’s background and integral role in aviation history. And Stan Friedman makes the important and highly valid point that if anyone was in a prime position to know what we, the human race, were flying in our skies back then, it surely would have been Johnson. Yet, the fact that Johnson concluded that he had seen something truly extraordinary only amplifies the nature of the case, and hits home the fact that a small number of UFOs do appear to be true unknowns.

While there are certainly countless examples of alleged UFO caught on film or camera, perhaps none provokes such debate as do the famous McMinville photos taken by farmer Paul Trent in 1950. And, it is this encounter in UFO history that makes number 4 in Best Evidence - with commentary and endorsements provided by Bruce Maccabee.

At number 3 is the controversial Rendlesham Forest, England UFO landing of December 1980 that can arguably be classed as the British Roswell - at least, in terms of commentary, numbers of people involved, and books written on the subject. Colonel Charles Halt, USAF (Ret.), and former Ministry of Defense man Nick Pope talk about the case - lights in the sky, object moving in the woods, elevated radiation readings found at the scene, the list goes on. And Halt surely makes the understatement of the whole show when he notes that the aftermath of the affair - that, he says, included USAF people being drugged and hypnotized, and the confiscation of radar-tapes showing the movements of the UFOs - was "quite interesting." I’ll say!

Coming in at a close second: the Iranian Air Force’s "UFO dogfight" of 1976, that saw two Phantom F-4’s implicated in a striking UFO encounter over the nation’s skies, and that also saw the Phantom’s utterly out-performed, and - more disturbingly - profoundly affected in terms of weapons and electrical systems being temporarily shut down by the unknown visitor. And as Stan Friedman notes with respect to the fact that the Iranian’s launched two of their state-of-the-art aircraft in hot pursuit of the UFO: "You don’t scramble if you’re not worried." Indeed.

So which case makes number one? The 1957 encounter of the USAF crew of an RB-47 aircraft, who were shadowed for more than two hours and across more than a few US states by a distinct unknown. With aerial observations, airborne tracking, ground radar-based confirmation, and a plethora of trained, high- quality observers, the RB-47 event is one that makes Stan Friedman pose the question: "What more can you ask for?" And there you have it.

Of course, there will be those who will inevitably ask: "Hey, why wasn’t the [insert name here] incident discussed?" Well, the answer to that question is that this Top 10 list was one based solely upon the responses provided to Paul by those researchers that he polled.

There will always be those who will disagree with the cases presented, and I can personally think of one or two others that I would have included had it been my Top 10. But, regardless of that, Best Evidence is a first-class production, with strong cases, good production and special-effects, a fine narration from Kris Lee McBride, and solid commentary from a host of researchers and investigators.

And Best Evidence is refreshing for two other reasons, too: number one, it doesn’t try and force-feed a particular theory for the UFO presence down our collective throats. It merely hammers home the fact that some presence, some unknown, is most assuredly among us.

And, second, you will find no debunkers in this production. Now, I’m not against having the views of those of a skeptical nature presented in a show such as this - it can, sometimes, provide a welcome balance to get both sides across.

But what I am against is this mentality of so many shows (and channels) that interview UFO researchers with the sole intention of having them knocked them down by some debunking type with a few letters after their name.

In the case of Best Evidence, however, it is those who were personally there and those that have dug deep into the cases in question that are given air-time; rather than the myriad debunkers who prefer to pontificate from the comfort of their armchairs; and who, in many cases, have done zero personal research into the things they are babbling on about.

The final word I will leave to researcher and author Mac Tonnies, who is quoted in the closing moments of Best Evidence as noting that, if real, the UFO presence on our world appears to be influencing both the way we think and our own mythologies, and that "this is a sacred thing to be messing with."

Paul tells me that the show has been getting rave reviews and plans are already moving to have Best Evidence broadcast outside of Canada. So, keep watching the TV listings: you definitely don’t want to miss this one.

Kecksburg Incident Continues to Intrigue
UFO By Marilyn Forbes-

Monday, June 11, 2007-Sometime close to 5 on the evening of Dec. 9, 1965, a bluish object was spotted over several American states and parts of Canada. The unidentified flying object was reported to seemingly change course until it finally plummeted to Earth, resting in a densely wooded area in Kecksburg, Mt. Pleasant Township.

What was the object and why was the military called out?

Was there a government cover up?

What was the acorn-shaped object that was reported to have been removed from the area, under a taut tarp on the back of a flat bed truck?

What fell from the sky that winter night?

Greensburg native Stan Gordon has been studying these very questions since the incident occurred and has become a devoted researcher and popular lecturer on the subject that has come to be known as "The Kecksburg Incident."

In keeping with the Mt. Pleasant library's program "Get a Clue @ Your Library," Gordon was asked to be a guest lecturer.

"We thought he would be a good choice and people are interested in his talks," librarian Jamie Falo said. "We hoped for a good crowd."

And Gordon did draw a good crowd, showing his video presentation, and fielding a question and answer period for a crowd of about 40.

Gordon, who has been fascinated by the occurrence for more than 40 years, has spoken across the country on the subject, and is continually compiling facts as new people come forward with information.

"There is a huge amount of interest in the Kecksburg incident," Gordon said, "but so many people didn't come forward at the time."

Television programs about the Kecksburg incident have been shown on the History Channel and on the series "Unsolved Mysteries."

"After the shows air, we'll have people from all over the country contact us," Gordon said. "Many of them heard things from family or from friends and many of them moved right after the incident."

The crowd enjoyed the video presentation that included a mixture of photographs from the scene and of eyewitnesses to the UFO and the aftermath.

"He's always so interesting," said Sue Wallace, of Indiana County. "I grew up in the area and now my grandchildren are fascinated by the whole thing."

Wallace herself did not see anything that December night, but that's not unusual for people intrigued with the subject.

"I've spent many years gathering information on a number of things," Gordon said. "I've researched Bigfoot and many UFO sightings, especially in Pennsylvania, but I've never seen anything myself."

Close Encounters Of The Local Kind-The Ft. Dix Alien
UFO 06/10/2007-Close Encounters Of The Local Kind-The Ft. Dix Alien

By Rick Murray

Journal Register News Service

A Fort Dix Military Policeman supposedly pumped five bullets into what looked like a gray-type space alien and one more bullet into an apparent flying saucer hovering above his patrol car.

The gray then somehow cleared a high chain-link fence before collapsing dead on a runway in a remote area of McGuire Air Force Base. The creature stank of ammonia and had the skin of a reptile, or so the story goes.

Prominent Ufologists have argued they possess solid evidence that such a case did indeed transpire nearly thirty years ago on Jan. 18, 1978.

Officials of the U.S. Air Force have repeatedly denied the claim, saying again this week that the so-called evidence in the case was discredited as a hoax years ago.

Still, the old story offers a bizarre prologue to the recent saga of base incursion involving the now notorious Fort Dix Six, who await court action as alleged Islamic terrorists.

McGuire's civilian base historian, Gary Boyd, acknowledges the UFO story has over the years taken on a life of it's own. The Internet to this day, he says, offers detailed reports of UFOlogists' investigations into the case.

True or not, the story packs a dramatic wallop, with UFO investigators quoting what they claim is an eyewitness.

The so-called eyewitness notes: "...A Fort Dix MP was pursuing a low flying object which then hovered over his car. He described it as oval shaped, with no details, and glowing with a bluish green color."

He goes on to say: "...At that time, in front of his police car, appeared a thing, about four-feet tall, grayish brown, fat head, long arms, and slender body," the eyewitness noted. "The MP panicked and fired five rounds from his .45 cal into the thing, and one round into the object above."

As late as two years ago, Boyd says, amateur UFO researchers sought to gain access to base records about the alleged incident, while pretending to seek information about their military backgrounds. Boyd says he's fielded a total of ten inquiries about what in UFO circles is called, "the night the alien died."

"It's a complete fiction," Boyd said, laughing, in an interview this week. "It's humorous fiction because it wasn't even well hoaxed.

The chief piece of physical evidence supporting the UFO incident's reality is a military incident/complaint report, which purportedly details the alleged events of the night in question. Boyd, however, laughingly dismisses the document, noting it reflects numerous and blatant inaccuracies.

"The chain of command is totally screwed up and they even have the wrong zip code for the base," says Boyd.

A similar conclusion about the report was reached by the National Institute of Discovery Science, a Las Vegas, Nev. based collection of scientists and investigators, whose probes into a variety of paranormal phenomenon are financed by aerospace/real estate tycoon, Robert T. Bigelow.

NIDS gained fame in recent years for a book called "Hunt for the Skinwalker", based on the organization's investigation into a bizarre range of paranormal episodes ranging from Bigfoot and UFO sightings to shapeshifter and poltergeist activity at a ranch in a remote corner of Utah.

After conducting a preliminary investigation of the McGuire case, NIDS investigators determined that neither the base commander at McGuire in 1978, nor four other key Air Force officials, "admitted any memory of the incident."

Although they could not locate the principal eyewitness, NIDS investigators decided the case smelled enough like a hoax that no further investigation was necessary. However, NIDS through its website "encourages" anyone with information about the alleged McGuire encounter to contact them, noting, "the case is still pending."

The case's biggest continuing supporter is Richard H. Hunt, a Brentwood, Md.-based author specializing in the Civil War and UFOs, who has formerly been associated with the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomenon, an organization that has enjoyed a good reputation for at least its sincerity.

NICAP was founded during the UFO flaps of the '50s, by retired Marine Corps Major Donald Edward Keyhoe, who became world famous for his articles in True Magazine maintaining that "Flying Saucers are Real."

Hunt picked up on the McGuire investigation upon the death of another NICAP stalwart, Leonard H. Stringfield, who also served for such other respected UFology organizations as the Mutual UFO Network.

Stringfield, or so the story goes, heard from the principal eyewitness after giving an interview broadcast over Armed Services Radio. That interview had inspired the witness, a man Stringfield and Hunt identify as Jeff Morse, to write the letter containing the graphic account of the MP shooting the strange creature.

Before his death in 1992, Stringfield had interviewed Morse numerous times, although there were apparently big time gaps between conversations. Morse reported, and Stringfield believed, that the interruptions owed to federal agents intercepting mail and phone calls.

Finally, Morse mailed Stringfield a copy of the report, written on what military officials agree is a standard DD 1569 form. The report seemed authentic to Stingfield, who acknowledged at the time having no way of being sure. What impressed him most, though, was Morses' demeanor.

"I got to know Morse as amiable, bright and alert and inclined toward reticence," wrote Stringfield, who said he was encouraged that Morse at no time claimed that what he saw was an extraterrestrial.

Morse, a rookie Air Force security officer at the time of the alleged incident, reported actually seeing the creature sprawled on the runway as he and other security officers worked to secure the area.

He later said the creature was whisked away on a C-141 to Wright Patterson Air Force Base, near Dayton, Ohio, where, according to UFO lore, several of the dead aliens from the famous Roswell incident are said to be stored.

Morse has said he and other low level security officers were also taken to Wright Patterson for a tough debriefing session, but a Morristown, N.J. attorney he identified as one of his interrogators has denied ever taking part in, or knowing anything about, any debriefing related to UFOs.

Morse went on to earn a bachelors degree in business management and a masters in human relations, according to Hunt who is equally impressed with Morse the man.

"I have a full picture of his family background and professional career," Hunt writes. "At this point there is no doubt in my mind whatsoever that the report is authentic, and since it literally represents a case of corpus deliciti, it is of the first order of importance.

"The fact that several of the officers involved have denied to other investigators having any knowledge of the incident is not surprising," Hunt continues. "I have long since come to the conclusion that this case is so important and held in such complete secrecy that it will take a thorough Congressional investigation to pry loose the full story."

A Close Encounter with Alien Beings-Eyewitness Account
UFO On November 10, 2005, at approximately 3:00 am, my daughter and I heard a weird humming sound like a hurricane wind going by my house in Aguada, Puerto Rico (a U.S. territory). The sound was so strange that it penetrated our ears. When my daughter and I looked outside, we observed what appeared to be a disc-shaped object moving westward towards the rear of the house where an enormous rainforest and a huge antenna are located and which leads all the way to the Atlantic Ocean.

The disc was silver in color with a row of windows around it and had a greenish haze or aura covering the craft. All the windows appeared to be a darker greenish color. After that, my daughter and I heard the same sound at least twice a week. My daughter and I used to go to sleep at 3:00 am watching (Novelas) Spanish soap operas. Almost exactly a year ago, on Friday, April 28, 2006, at approximately 3:00 am, I heard again the same sound going by my house. At about 10 or 15 minutes later I heard my dog (Dora) barking continuously in my back yard. When I went to investigate by turning on the back yard light (the light in the house was off) and by looking through my dining room window, I observed my dog laying on her back with her 4 legs up apparently unconscious. The dog was chained to a metal pole next to the back fence which separates my property with the rainforest in the back.

I called her name, "Dora, Dora, what's wrong Dora?"

When I lifted my eyes and looked at the back fence, which is about 25 feet from where I was standing, I observed two creatures (extraterrestrials) standing close to and behind the chain-link fence looking at me. One of the aliens was about 3 feet from the dog and the other alien was about 5 feet away from the other alien. They were about 3 and a half feet tall with a large oval head and big slanted eyes. They had pale grayish skin and a barely visible slit for a mouth and two little holes for a nose. They also had very skinny arms and they seem not to have any clothes on.

Their legs were not showing because under the fence there was a cinder-block wall about one and a half feet high. I could only see them from the waist up. The aliens were staring at me and I was staring at them. I think that they were communicating with me telepathically because they were reading my mind when I said mentally, "I'm going to wake up my husband, Nelson,"

I left the window and walked through the hallway leading to the bedrooms. On the way to wake up my husband, they detoured me to the other bedroom to wake up my daughter instead. I woke up my daughter (17 year old at the time) and both of us went to the dining room window where we observed the creatures still standing in the same place. Again, they stared at us and we stared straight into their large eyes for a while. My daughter said to me, Mommy, I'm going back to bed because I'm scared, then I won't be able to sleep."

I then followed my daughter to the bedroom because she was afraid to go by herself. Approximately 10 minutes later I returned to the dining room window, the aliens were still there in the same location. While staring straight into their big eyes, the one closest to the dog was telling me in my mind to open the door leading to the back yard. I said in my mind, "I'm not going to open the door." He demanded telepathically, "You're going to open the door." I then felt myself moving towards the door and was getting drowsy.

I don't remember what happened after that. I woke up in my bed. I asked my daughter if she had seen the same thing in case I was imagining things. She described the incident and the creatures the same way and manner I described them. We then told my husband who slept in a separate bedroom facing the back yard. he said he did hear the dog barking wildly at about 3:00am. He said that he looked out the bedroom window and saw the dog barking towards the rainforest in the back but he thought that she was barking at a cat and was so sleepy that he immediately went back to sleep. He did not look at the fence.

Please be advised that behind the back fence, where the aliens were, is an enormous rainforest that leads all the way to the Atlantic Ocean, where a huge antenna is located and is pitch black at night. What concerns me the most is that my husband informed me that he discovered the back door opened when he got up at about 8:00 in the morning, but did not know what happened. The dog did not want to eat or drink anything for days and was laying down apparently sick.

On Monday, May 1, 2006, at about 12:50 am, while sitting in the living room and while talking on the phone, I saw a bright light, like an enormous light bulb, moving through the woods (the rainforest). I informed my husband and we immediately closed all the louver windows in the kitchen and dining rooms. I became hysterical and began to cry because I thought that they were after me and my husband had to calm me down. At approximately 2:00 am, the same night, I heard the same sound again over the house. Seconds later, while laying in bed, my husband and I heard a loud crashing noise like something hitting the flat concrete roof and shook the house like if something had landed there. We were afraid, but did not call the police for fear of being ridiculed and they would not come to investigate.

I feel relieved to know that I was not the only one seeing those alien beings. My 17 year old daughter saw them too. Otherwise I, myself, would think that I was hallucinating and imagining things. Could it be possible that I did opened the back yard door and was abducted by the aliens? I don't know. My husband found the back door opened early in the morning. In addition, I have a dotted mark on my left hand which is circular and the pain diminished as time went by since April 28, 2006.

All we want is for someone (UFO/extraterrestrial investigator) that could investigate what had occurred on April 28, 2006 and May 1, 2006. We recently moved from New York City and bought this house in August 2005 when my husband retired as an Assistant Deputy Warden after working for 20 years for the New York City Department of Corrections (Riker's Island jail complex) and after having a heart attack.

I am a serious woman that doesn't like to lie. I never thought that we would go through something like that. I know that it is hard to believe what I had written. I understand that. But what my daughter and I saw and what my husband and I heard is the truth.

Now we are planning to sell the house and return to the mainland because we fear that they could come back. We have gone to several places including the Channel 5 television network here on the island and to the mayor of Aguada, but no one seems to believe our story. But now that it is almost a year since my encounter with those creatures, I am seeking someone to investigate what we saw and heard.

Maria R.

I want to thank Maria for sending in her account of a very harrowing experience.

Place of Encounter: I was in my backyard. I was out to run my little dog with the light pen and to do some sky-watching--not really thinking to see much over the suburbs of Sacramento... when I looked over my rooftop to the eastern sky and this "thing" which was flying low at a moderate rate of speed come across the sky. When I say "low" I mean it was flying at about the height of local helicopters when they buzz over your house and it was fairly large, so that's how close it was.

Duration of Encounter: I counted the seconds (7) from the moment I saw it and followed it through my backyard as it passed across the skyline out of my range of vision as I have large trees in my backyard. My backyard length is about 110 feet, so do the math.

Color and Shape: It was light grey, oval-shaped, but not defined--as if you took a picture of a cloud, imported it into Photoshop or other photo program then cropped out an oval shape and filtered a gradient from the center to the edge, giving it a three-dimensional hazy appearance. It had no visible lights.

Ground Lighting: The sky was almost completely dark. There was ambient light from local businesses, but we have a tall fence, so most all of the light is filtered softly through the trees or appearing just over the cusp of the fence-line to the west of my house. The encounter was to the East.

Flight Pattern: It flew in a straight line from a South-Eastern heading to a North direction: from my home it would be from Orangevale/Fair Oaks, over Citrus Heights (where I live), heading towards Roseville, CA.

Sound: It made no sound.

My reaction was one of disgust in myself because I had my video camera, set on night vision, but my dog was bugging on me to play with the light pen so I sat the camera down. That is when this "thing" appeared. My feelings about it were elation; my rational mind said that it was quite unusual. source: www.mufon.com

Georgia-Object Sends Red Beam
06-07-I was at work when I got a call from my brother telling me to look at the sky. He lives close by my job. I looked up and saw an object moving back and forth, up and down while changing colors rapidly. It also shone a beam of red light which it appeared to be flashing to the ground.

This lasted for almost two hours. I was able to take video with my cell phone video camera, I have an older model phone which cannot send videos out to email but I have it saved in my phone if there is interest in viewing or any possibility of transferring the info to anyone.

It was also viewed and photographed by my brother. I am including a picture but I reiterate that I do have video of it moving and changing color. It was still there when I went to bed so I have no idea how long it actually stayed there.source: www.mufon.com

Oregon-H-Shaped Craft
06-06-I was out walking on a back trail with my dog when six to ten ships fly low overhead. Three of them were inverted Y from the back and front. those ships landed in a clearing while three more flew overhead. the three were black with a blue outline on the hexagon wings. from the front view, they looked like a H with a ball in the center. the ones that landed were white with white blinking lights, such as an aircraft on earth and a continuous blue light on the back. their two wings on the bottom folded up making a W shape as it landed, making a deep moan and a whine as a jet engine. when that happened, 6 ramps, two per ship, opened up.

i couldn't believe it. then, several human like creatures came out. they were white with black joint areas. then, one took off his head, but it was a helmet. it was human! he carried what looked like an automatic weapon of some kind. the weapon was black. it looked like an earth weapon. there were dozens of the aliens! some were talking, some were unloading boxes. they spoke English. it seemed like they were military, but not ours. i got a peak in the only window on the ship closest to me. a human wearing a space suit such as our astronauts and a black helmet just like the white guys. so as soon as the ships left and the white guys were gone, i got the hell out of there.source: www.mufon.com

New York-Circular, Glowing Object
06-06-At about 9:03 PM on Wednesday, June 6, 2007, I went out to put my car windows up and a bright light in the southern sky caught my eye. I looked up and saw a round, very, very bright light moving in a northeasterly direction. I watched for a few seconds observing the object. There were no flashing lights, no strobing lights, no identifying lights as seen on the many planes that fly in our skies (day and night)from our local county airport.

There was no trail of any kind either. It appeared to be a circular glowing bright light - not something on fire or burning. I quickly went to the porch, opened the door and called to my 14 yr old grandson to come look. He came out and observed the object as well. He said, "Gram, get your camera!" I said, "What is that? It is so bright and moving so fast." The light never changed in brightness or appearance as it approached me, passed over us, or moved away from us (The object was entirely enveloped in bright white light - I noticed that there were light rays emanating from it as though the light source was internal).

It appeared to be traveling at a low altitude and at a very high speed. There was no sound to be heard as this object approached, flew over us and flew away from us. Before we lost sight of it beyond the trees, my grandson was observing it with the binoculars: I said, "Look there is a plane headed in its direction (the plane was heading north and was in the eastern sky). The plane must have been at a much higher altitude and further away from us as it appeared as a pin dot, but you could clearly make out the flashing red and white lights.

The unknown object was very large in size in comparison to the plane and to the stars that were out at the time. I have never seen anything like this before in my entire life. One other note: The object seemed to zig-zag a few times as it was moving away from us. My grandson and I both noticed this. The object did not appear to be falling at any time during my observation, but navigating. This was a very odd experience! source: www.mufon.com

Tennessee-Bright, Shining Object
06-06- I'm Alyson, the Guide to Pet Birds, and I'm writing to you because I saw something rather strange two days ago.

Aside from being a Guide, I have another job as a pet counselor and behavior specialist at a local pet shop. Around 7:45pm this past Wednesday, I stepped outside the shop to enjoy the sunset during my dinner break. I noticed that there were a total of six airplanes in the sky overhead. I sat watching them for a few moments, wondering to myself why some of the planes left a vapor trail and some did not. (The manager of the shop later explained that one to me!) Suddenly I noticed a very bright white object, shining like a star -- but football shaped, and obviously not one. It hovered in the sky for approximately two seconds and then began to move to the west at about the same speed as the airplanes were traveling. It then disappeared into thin air.

The entire sighting lasted about 5 seconds. The sky was clear and the sun had just began to set, so I don't think that the object could have disappeared behind a cloud. I'm not sure what it was, but it was certainly not an airplane like any that I have ever seen. I didn't hear any sounds except for those made by the airplanes that I had been watching previously.

Another detail that may or may not be worth mentioning is that a dog inside the pet shop apparently began to behave erratically and show signs of aggression for no apparent reason at around the same time this thing appeared. I thought it a bit strange, but heck, the whole night was strange after seeing what I saw!

Virginia-Glowing, Circular Object
03-04-I was traveling north on the Fairfax Co. Parkway between Herndon and Sterling around 8:00pm on March 4th when a large glowing object caught my eye. It was much larger than the largest star and was not as bright as a street light, hence why I described it as glowing. By the time my eyes were able to focus on the glowing circular object it started picking up speed.

It moved northward horizontally in a strait line at amazing speed until it vanished. It made fighter jets look slow. Too bad I could not tell the size or altitude. I felt very excited and knew this was no normal craft. I'm sure some other people had to have seen this and I should have reported it sooner. source: www.mufon.com
