08-03-07-I was recently on vacation at U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New Hogan Lake. One August afternoon I was floating in my boat just enjoying the afternoon sky when something caught my eye. It was some type of aircraft, most likely military. It was wedge-shaped in appearance from what I saw. I was unable to tell its size or altitude. I am 60% deaf so I did not hear any sound, but when a commercial jet does over fly that lake, if I am floating with engine off and no boats are making noise, I can just barely hear the engines. The picture was taken with a digital Kodak Easy Share camera.
The aircraft slowed to a stand still, made a few barrel rolls, accelerated to a speed about the same as when you see an airliner overhead. I was unable to guess its altitude, but I think it was greater than 10,000 feet. It was not an F-117 or B-2. No exhaust was visible. I only took one photo, I only observed it for about 5 minutes, to me it was un remarkable, I have seen many military craft like the Boeing Bird of Prey. I only now decided to report it because I was flicking through my vacation pictures and remembered about the day I saw the UFO. Now I use the term UFO, as it should be, this aircraft to me was Unidentifed, UFO to me does not mean alien spaceship. I am sure this was a U.S. military craft. MUFON Submitter 7862

September 3, 2007-Chattanooga, Tennessee: 7:30 AM.
This morning from my front porch, I was taking several photographs in sequence, just practicing with my camera. In one picture there appears a strange object – you can blow it up as it was taken with a high quality camera (Nikon D70s). I never noticed it while I was shooting, only after when I downloaded the picture. Submitted to UFO Casebook

On Wednesday, June 20th, 2007, sometime between noon and 1 pm, my mother was snapping a photo of this statue at the Blue Army of Our Lady of Fatima Shrine in Washington, New Jersey while on a spiritual retreat.
When she came home and we were scrolling though the pictures, this jumped right out at me. No one recalled seeing anything unusual that day, and no one could recall any flights passing over of any kind. I guess I can't say for sure that this is a true UFO photo, but it certainly has us all excited to learn more about what other people may think. The copy attached is exactly how it came from her digital camera. In the upper right hand corner you can see the object in question. I thought about blowing up that section or trying to enhance it for clarity but I didn't want to compromise it in any way. Please feel to post this photo (photo credit: Mary Anne Mulcahy) and to give us your thoughts. Thank you for your time, Jay Morgans Photograph © Mary Anne Mulcahy

Hazecam.net-pic, Baltimore, Maryland; showing one or two strange objects at 10:15 PM EDT 08/31/2007.
They first showed up at 10:00 PM EDT but I didn't manage to grab that one although it clearly showed that it's some kind of UFO we're dealing with here, both objects were to the far left in the previous picture, but in this one they are kind of in the middle. At 10:30 they were nowhere to be seen. Cristofer Ohlsson-Malmö, Sweden

Ian Brockwell Ian Brockwell is the creator of Profindsearch.com and interests include writing, teaching, politics, climate change, UFO reports, businesses of all August 27, 2007-In a report that was provided by two Russian UFO investigators, Dr. Yuliy Platov and Colonel Boris Sokolov, in 2000, it was clear that the 13 year study had revealed very little to support the existence of Aliens, at least in Russia. However, they did admit that there were some cases that remained unexplained. Sokolov gave his explanation for an event that happened in October 1982, which appeared on an ABC Prime Time Live program. Interviews with former Russian military personnel described a 900 foot wide UFO hovering over their missile base (near Khmelitskiy in the Ukraine), causing the command consoles to “prepare for launch” for 15 seconds, before returning to normal. According to Sokolov, who was involved in the investigation, 50 people witnessed bright flashing objects on the northern horizon, in the form of "a balloon”. Within hours his team had located records of parachute flares and night-bombing exercises occurring at another military base in precisely that direction at precisely that time. Sokolov and Platov added “that the fault of the operation of the command post equipment had nothing to do with the observed phenomena, it just completely accidentally coincided in time.” Balloons often get a mention in UFO sightings, and they do move in an odd way sometimes, suggesting that they may not be controlled by natural forces. Whilst the balloon explanation by Sokolov was probably the correct one on this occasion, it can’t be applied to all sightings (especially the famous Roswell incident). During their study, no Alien abductions were reported and they made the following comment “This means that either the territory of the USSR was, due to any reasons, closed for alien visitations during, at least, 13 years, or that the hypothesis of an extraterrestrial origin of UFOs is inconsistent. Any serious investigator of the problem of UFOs should, at least, face this reality.” It is of course true that many “abductions” exist only in the minds of the “abductees”, whose imaginations have strayed a little too far from reality. But as we know, many abductions are not so easy to dismiss and warrant more serious investigation. Some Soviet sightings have come from very credible sources, such as Cosmonaut Victor Afanasyev, who in 1979 (while on his way to the Soviet Solyut 6 space station) claimed he saw a UFO turn toward his craft and begin tailing it through space. He gave the following report “It followed us during half of our orbit. We observed it on the light side, and when we entered the shadow side, it disappeared completely. It was an engineering structure, made from some type of metal, approximately 40 meters long with inner hulls. The object was narrow......and inside there were openings. Some places had projections like small wings. The object stayed very close to us. We photographed it, and our photos showed it to be 23 to 28 meters away”. When the cosmonaut returned to earth he was debriefed and told never to reveal what he knew, and had his cameras and film confiscated. It is perhaps fair to say that the 13 year study mainly involved reports from military personnel, but UFO sightings are frequently mentioned by the general public. In the last 15 years I have listened to many UFO reports from the general public, and I have no reason to assume that these are attempts to obtain publicity. Most of these stories (if not all) have never been officially reported, as the people concerned were afraid the authorities would not take them seriously or perhaps might create unnecessary attention. Sadly, there are few sites that specialize on this subject in Russia, so the majority of reports remain unpublished. This is something I would like to change and I would very much like to hear about UFO sightings (or abductions) that have taken place in Russia. Hopefully, if there is a good response, I may be able to persuade a leading news supplier (in Russia) to create a special section for this, which will encourage others to share their experiences and offer feedback. Please send me an email if you have a story to tell, your details will remain confidential unless you confirm that this information can be revealed.

During the lunar eclipse I wanted to photograph the event. I got my camera and set up my tripod in front of my house. Night photography needs longer exposure times without camera movement.
I set the desired exposure and set the timer so I wouldn't shake the camera while taking the picture. Pressing the button and waiting 10 seconds for the camera to fire I would not be looking through the viewfinder. This photo was the longest exposure of the night at 4 seconds. You can see some of the movement of the stars with a small amount of streaking with a long exposure of 4 seconds. This object has a very defined pattern of lights and some visible structure. While in the US Navy in the summer of 1986, I was standing lookout aboard the USS Edenton ATS 1 (currently decommissioned). The lookout watch, stood outside on top the bridge of the ship, and was responsible for reporting all contacts seen both in the water and sky. It was around eleven p.m. one clear night at sea, located about fifty miles off the coast of Cape Hatteras, NC.
During one of my scans of the night sky, out of know where, four red circular lights appeared. The lights where hundreds of yards apart from each other and formed a square. At first, I thought it was four separate air craft, such as, military helicopters because the lights were stationary; however, due to the distance from the ship, the lights where too large to be aircraft running lights. There were also no other normal running lights like green and white, which make-up the normal outline of an aircraft seen at night. The lights where located about twenty degrees above the horizon and about a mile away from the ship. Again, these four red lights were each about the size of a small plane, which were very bright and visible in the night sky. The night sky was also clear, moon lit, and a moderate amount of stars were visible, which also aided in calculating the distance and size of these lights. As stated, when I first saw these lights they were all stationary in the sky and appeared out of know where. Once I noticed that these were not normal lights, grouped in a square and not moving, I called down to the bridge over a salt and pepper line informing the conning officer of a possible UFO sighting. This brought laughter across the wire at first, but I relayed the contact again in a stern but excited voice, which succeeded in getting the bridge officers attention. After relaying the contact information a second time, the four lights, in a flash, darted towards the horizon amazingly fast. The lower two lights in the square went first, with the top two lights following directly behind them in a curved swooshing motion and there was no sound. Then all four shot straight up into outer-space and out of sight, all within a split second. At this point, I felt very excited and shocked, and was personally praying someone on the bridge had seen what I just saw. Having been an avid watcher of the night sky, seen shooting stars and a believer in that life has to exist somewhere out there, I become even more excited because I knew, I just saw my first unidentified flying object(s). To my amazement, when I returned to the bridge after my watch, I was very pleased to learn that the conning officer and everyone else on the bridge had seen this sighting and logged it into the ship’s log as a UFO sighting. Next, after a half hour had passed since the sighting, the radiation detection system (gamma roentgen meter) on the bridge started making a loud clicking sound. At first, no one seemed to know what was making this sound then a very loud bell went off notifying us as to what was going on, we were being radiated. When the instrument stopped clicking, it indicated we had taken a hit of 385 roentgens in the period of about one minute. At this point, the captain of the ship was awoken and called to the bridge, as well as the chief in charge of the radiation metering equipment onboard ship. The captain was not impressed with an entry of a UFO sighting being placed in the ship’s log, and at first, took the roentgen meter as being defective. However, the chief informed the captain that the meter had been serviced and calibrated the day before and that other like meters throughout the ship had just gone off indicating the same amount of roentgens received as the bridge. The captain stated not to log the instance concerning the radiation exposure and left the bridge. During the rest of my watch duty that night, no officer or enlisted person spoke of what happened, and also acted liked nothing happened. This experience, however, was etched into my memory as if it happened yesterday and I have told this story to only a few people, people who I thought would believe me. This is also the first time I have documented the events of this night. In conclusion, as an indication of the strength of gamma radiation, I and others received that night; all the personnel during the Project Trinity experiments conducted in 1945 at ground zero, only received between 1 and 6 total roentgens of gamma radiation. This leads me to believe, we traveled through the wake of radiation produced by the UFOs seen thirty minutes earlier.

08-30-I live in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Last night, August 30, when it started to get dark my daughter was in the backyard with two younger cousins and they spotted a light that moved in circles and then it would appear to be bouncing. We kept watching it for over 30 minutes and it keep moving up and then down slowly and then in circles. We got out our binoculars and keep watching it. Have you received any other reports of this? I am very curious of what this could have been. Mary Greene-source: www.ufocasebook.com |

08-31-We left Milpitas around 7:40 PM on our way to Sacramento. We were driving on interstate 680 north. As we were passing Dublin we noticed a strange object in the sky that had multiple lights rotating around on what seems to be a disc. What caught my attention were these lights. It was evident that we were not the only ones that noticed it because drivers were swerving and pressing their brakes to witness the object. There were a number of cars that pulled over and some were even taking pictures. When I first saw the object I thought it was a blimp because it was hovering and moving slowly. But I have never seen a blimp with lights around it in that fashion. The rotations of the lights were erratic and did not have a pattern. They were yellow and bright. Directly above the rotating lights was a single white light situated in the middle. After about 20 minutes of hovering the object began to move away in a quick manner. I noticed that the object then made an abrupt move downward in an angle as if it was going to land. The object did not land but was relatively lower in altitude than when first seen. After a couple minutes the object shot across the sky in a zig-zag manner at the speed of a shooting star till it can not be seen. After this event my girlfriend an I were amazed at what we had just witnessed. We are now firm believers of UFOs. source: www.mufon.com |

08-31-My neighbors and I witnessed a UFO tonight. 3 people watched as a medium sized metallic blue and silver object floated silently past our apartment. I did not see the beginning of the sighting, but was drawn outside by their excitement and watched as the strangest thing I'd ever seen floated past. Two neighbors drew sketches of what they... and I got pictures of the object. There was no sound. The sighting lasted 15 minutes. I only saw the last 5 minutes. By the time I came outside the object had passed... but I got a quick look at it before I ran inside and got my camera. I have a 12 power optical zoom on my digital camera and I was able to zoom in and get several pictures. I wish I'd been there and saw what they saw from the beginning. It had shining lights. The kids were outside playing and it came out of nowhere. Tony looked up and saw something very strange and asked Debbie what it was. Debbie had no idea. Her husband Leonard, who is a retired Air Force jet mechanic also had no idea what the object might be. There was no noise, no smoke, no chemical trails, no vibration of any kind coming from the object. It was very peaceful. There was a clear window on the object but no beings were seen. Lights shined brightly and evenly and changed colors from white to red to blue to green to pink to red... and the last color was a big bright orange. At first they thought it might be a helicopter or a remote control plane or a glider because there was no motor. The object was shaped like half of the Yellow Submarine from the Beatles... with a window on the front and a metal rod coming out of the bottom. It was silver and metallic bright blue. My neighbor Debbie had been talking about UFOs just before the sighting occurred. It floated evenly with a constant speed in a straight line. We all felt very peaceful during the sighting, and were all shocked and in utter awe, We'd never seen anything like it in our lives. The object floated way off into the distance until it was just a spot of flashing orange light and then it disappeared. source: www.mufon.com |

09-01-Our witness gives this account of a sighting: I took the dog out for the last time tonight. I was looking at Polaris and out of nowhere saw what appeared to me to be a light streaking across the sky from South to North. It was definitely faster than a plane. It was brighter than any shooting star I've EVER seen. And it was also slower than any shooting star I've seen. I was standing on the deck in front of my house and it was NNE at approximately a 45-50 degree angle. My first thought was of videos of the Apollo or Shuttle spacecraft returning. My second thought was how much it looked like a rocket going through the sky. I saw no signs of a contrail of any kind. source: www.mufon.com |

09-01-Unknown objects were hovering up and down and spinning very fast-enough to leave trails of light, states our witness. They were shooting across the sky, but there was no sound. They would send beams to each other. They were spinning and hovering at the same time. There was a green light illuminating off the top of one of them. It looked like a fireball because the whole thing was illuminating. One of the other ones was changing color from blue to white to green, but it was still spinning and hovering. would stop illuminating and show a bright white light, then the entire thing would illuminate again. I just arrived home from work and my boyfriend showed them to me. Nick was outside looking up at the sky while waiting for me to get home. I was excited at the possibility of other beings examining the things we do. I felt like I was on the X-files. source: www.mufon.com |

08-29-Our witness tells us that: Tonight a friend and I from Newcastle Australia saw the strangest thing sitting in the southern sky. This looked different from the stars but we are not sure what it is? My friend described it "like a squid? It had these lights which turned from white to red and sometimes when I viewed it through the binoculars it had blue lights as well which could not be seen with the naked eye. Please let me know what was this? Sharon-source:www.ufocasebook.com |
