It was a cool autumn evening and the full moon shone through the open bedroom windows. I turned off the TV at about 12:30, rolled over on my left side facing my already fast asleep husband. Being an insomniac, I laid there thinking about the projects waiting for me on my desk at work and all the other various things that can keep you awake when you are desperately trying to fall asleep. It's time to turn over now, I pick my head up, check the time on the cable box, 1:04, not too bad. Turn over on my right side. Then I saw it. What is that standing up against my dresser at the foot of the bed? I did not believe it the first time I looked, so I turned to the window, saw the light from the moon that was shining in through the curtains and then looked back. It was there, no mistake this time. I stared at this silhouette as it stared at me. It was small, 3 1/2 to 4 feet tall. Small boned, like a child, but a head proportionately larger than it should be. Then I realized what I was looking at. Then the fear came, I reached over to my left, placed my hand on my husband, shook him as I called his name (all without removing my eyes from the silhouette). After several tries, I thought maybe it's not him, or something was done to him. I gave in and turned my head. I screamed his name and he finally awoke. I told him we were not alone and pointed to the place where it stood. But it was not standing, I looked to the floor to see it crouched down. My husband refused to climb over me to see, insisted I was dreaming and abruptly went back to sleep. I wanted it to go, but thought that it would not if I was staring at it. So, I decided to pull the covers over my head and hope it would leave. As soon as I did, I knew it was a mistake. How would I see what it was doing? I didn't want to scare myself anymore, so little by little I pulled the covers back so I can see the floor, nothing there, remove more of the covers, still nothing. Then I climbed over my sleeping husband to check his side of the room. All gone. Relief, check the cable box, 3:07, impossible! I don't believe I was abducted, but I know what I saw. My husband, my brother, my sister-in-law and I were vacationing at a coastal house in Bodega Bay, CA (about two hours north of San Francisco). We were watching the sun set over the ocean and preparing to watch the clear night sky, so we had big binoculars (16X70) set up on a tripod on the west-facing patio. Moments after sunset (which occurred at 7:15 p.m., [see photo “100_1605[1]sunset”], while the sky at the horizon was still orangey, we noticed a very bright orange/gold streak moving at a slightly upward angle in a north-to-south direction [see photos “100_1607[2]picture 3 unenhanced” and “picture 3 enhanced for brightness and contrast (3)”].
At arm’s length and measuring between thumb and forefinger, the streak early on was about an inch above the horizon. We then looked at it through the binoculars and we saw not only the streak, but a dark, somewhat elongated object that was rounded at the leading edge of what we then called a “trail”. Over the next minute or two, the trail got to be about four inches long (as measured above) and the object took up a good ¼ to ½ inch of that measurement. We continued to see the trail but not the object with the naked eye. A minute or two after we first saw the trail, the object/trail appeared to stop and hover in place for another 10 minutes or so, but the trail did not dissipate at all like a vapor trail would. (Since we were facing west, it's also possible the object was not hovering but rather moving west to east or east to west after it appeared to stop.) We could see the trail and the "unmoving" object for a total of 10 minutes or so until it got too dark to see through the binoculars. The pictures we took do not even begin to show the brightness of the trail. Based on the "distance to horizon" calculator on the Internet, we estimated the distance to the object was about 15.5 nautical or 17.9 statute miles. (We did a Google Earth calculation that showed our rental house was 172 feet above sea level and, adding the five-foot height of the tripod, resulted in a "height of eye" of 177 feet.) If the object was almost 18 miles away, the object would have to be quite large to appear as big as it did, even though it required binoculars to see it. Our collective conclusion was that the object was too big to be any kind of airplane and that the trail was not a vapor trail. The way the object appeared to stop and hover, and the fact that the trail did not dissipate, were also very strange. Maybe it was some kind of missile, but we sure can’t figure it out. None of us had ever seen such a thing.

Greetings, I was viewing a video documentary called "The Real 4400" and
at around the 31 minute mark of the video was about a woman artist from
Perth, Australia who had claimed alien encounters provided inspiration
for her art work. On some of the samples she displayed to an art expert in London, there were some of the similar symbols seen on the drone pictures. Linguists have seen this art work and said that the symbols was a form of ancient Summarian. This video documentary was made in 2005 and I found it at the Divx web site called Stage 6. By SCOTT CHIRSTIANSENMirror Writer Aircraft accounted for, no craters found during search Several Kodiakans saw something fall from the sky Tuesday morning that may have landed in mountainous terrain on Kodiak Island. The incident prompted 911 calls and a helicopter search was launched from U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak, but no crash site was found. The pre-dawn lightshow happened about 6:45 a.m. and could be seen from several places on Kodiak Island. Some witnesses described a light moving across the sky toward the Gulf of Alaska. Others saw an explosion and red tracers. The light was bright enough to be seen from Kodiak city and Chiniak, about 20 miles away across Chiniak Bay. Alaska State Troopers also reported sightings at about the same time on the Kenai Peninsula. “We got to watch it for a few seconds before it went behind the mountains,” Jenny Horning said, “I saw a ball of red with streamers of red flames behind it.” Horning and her son Drew saw the light while driving to Kodiak from their home on Anton Larsen Road. She said they were convinced they had just seen an aircraft crash in the mountains above the road. She drove over the road’s summit to where she could get a cell phone connection and placed a 911 call. About 20 miles away in Chiniak, Jan Pennington saw a light outside her window. It was so bright, Pennington said, she at first thought it might be a helicopter searchlight. Pennington didn’t hear rotors though and believes she caught a glimpse of a very bright meteor. “It was traveling west to east and went behind a tree,” Pennington said. Kodiak Police Chief T.C. Kamai saw the light while on his way home from a morning workout. “I was headed home from the gym and I saw flashes in the sky that looked like lightning, and I was trying to figure out what it was,” Kamai said. Kodiak police dispatch contacted fire departments on the Coast Guard Base and in Womens Bay. Rescue workers assembled at a mountain chalet on Anton Larsen Road while a Coast Guard HH-60 Jayhawk helicopter focused on an area north of the road where witnesses directed the search. The flights turned up nothing. “They did a low-altitude flyover, looking for any signs of fire or pitting. Then they did a higher-altitude flyover and they still did not see anything,” Petty Officer 3rd Class Richard Brahm, a Coast Guard spokesman, said. No emergency distress signals were received that coincided with the sightings, Brahm said. Kamai said authorities have accounted for Kodiak-based aircraft and known flight plans in the area. Alaska State Troopers went further, trying to confirm from space agencies if a satellite had gone missing, trooper spokeswoman Beth Ipsen said. Ipsen said troopers in Kodiak specifically contacted authorities in charge of YES-2, an experimental satellite that reportedly malfunctioned. “We do not have anyone saying they have a missing satellite, but that doesn’t mean there is not one out there,” Ipsen said. “It is still a mystery, but the good thing is that we know it is not a plane,” she said. The witness was watching the Galeras volcano on Saturday last, and was surprised to see craft fly over it. He took the photograph shown below.
The history of the volcano has always included sightings of UFOs for many decades. As can be seen, the volcano was spitting out thick ash as the craft flew past.

PASADENA, Calif. - NASA's Mars Odyssey spacecraft has discovered
entrances to seven possible caves on the slopes of a Martian
volcano. The find is fueling interest in potential underground
habitats and sparking searches for caverns elsewhere on the Red
Planet.
Very dark, nearly circular features ranging in diameter from about 328 to 820 feet puzzled researchers who found them in images taken by NASA's Mars Odyssey and Mars Global Surveyor orbiters. Using Mars Odyssey's infrared camera to check the daytime and nighttime temperatures of the circles, scientists concluded that they could be windows into underground spaces. Evidence that the holes may be openings to cavernous spaces comes from the temperature differences detected from infrared images taken in the afternoon and in the pre-dawn morning. From day to night, temperatures of the holes change only about one- third as much as the change in temperature of surrounding ground surface. "They are cooler than the surrounding surface in the day and warmer at night," said Glen Cushing of the U.S. Geological Survey's Astrogeology Team and of Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, Ariz. "Their thermal behavior is not as steady as large caves on Earth that often maintain a fairly constant temperature, but it is consistent with these being deep holes in the ground." A report of the discovery of the possible cave skylights by Cushing and his co-authors was published online recently by the journal Geophysical Research Letters. "Whether these are just deep vertical shafts or openings into spacious caverns, they are entries to the subsurface of Mars," said co-author Tim Titus of the U.S. Geological Survey in Flagstaff. "Somewhere on Mars, caves might provide a protected niche for past or current life, or shelter for humans in the future." The discovered holes, dubbed "Seven Sisters," are at some of the highest altitudes on the planet, on a volcano named Arsia Mons near Mars' tallest mountain. "These are at such extreme altitude, they are poor candidates either for use as human habitation or for having microbial life," Cushing said. "Even if life has ever existed on Mars, it may not have migrated to this height." The new report proposes that the deep holes on Arsia Mons probably formed as underground stresses around the volcano caused spreading and faults that opened spaces beneath the surface. Some of the holes are in line with strings of bowl- shaped pits where surface material has apparently collapsed to fill the gap created by a linear fault. The observations have prompted researchers using Mars Odyssey and NASA's newer Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter to examine the Seven Sisters. The goal is to find other openings to underground spaces at lower elevations that are more accessible to future missions to Mars. "The key to finding these was looking for temperature anomalies at night - warm spots," said Phil Christensen of Arizona State University, Tempe, principal investigator for the Thermal Emission Imaging System on Mars Odyssey. That instrument produced both visible-light and infrared images researchers used for examining the possible caves. "No other instrument at Mars could give the thermal information crucial to this research," said the project scientist for Mars Odyssey, Jeffrey Plaut of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, Calif. "This is a great example of the exciting discoveries Odyssey continues to make." Mars Odyssey reached Mars in 2001, years before any of the other spacecraft currently examining the planet. Its predecessor, Mars Global Surveyor, ended its mission last year. The Jet Propulsion Laboratory manages Mars Odyssey and Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter for the NASA Science Mission Directorate, Washington. Springhill Ranch-Date: Late 70s-Time: afternoon (summer or fall)Location: Springhill Ranch, Telkwa Hi-road, Smithers BC Canada It took me many years to try to remember exactly how the craft looked like. I couldn't remember which set of wings were where until I attempted to recreate what I saw that day. For a while I thought the smaller set was in the front. But this looks more like it. Thanks to my good friend Barb for sending me this article. B J I was in the back area of the property looking for my horse to go riding that day. Normally my horse along with the others would have been there but for some reason they were spooked and up in the woods on the hillside. I never clued in that something might be wrong. I was on my way back along the fence towards the house when I just stopped in my tracks. I had this feeling that I should look up and that's when I saw that craft above my head. The air was still. I never heard a sound coming from it. It was just in the air and was not moving. I don't know how long it was up there before I noticed it but after about 30 seconds it just took off into thin air. I had a clear shot of the whole sky in the valley and I tell you it just vanished within a couple of seconds - without a sound. For days afterwards I drew a stick diagram of the body and how the wings were. I knew there was something odd about those wings facing the wrong way. I never associated it to a UFO for many many years because UFOs were suppose to be flying saucers, or at least that's what I was lead to believe. The first thing I thought, after my mind went blank staring at that thing in awe, was that it was military. Perhaps because it was black, who knows. But it wasn't right and was completely out of place. Not to mention hovering over my head. The following is the outlay of the ranch where the encounter occurred. Most of our property was located on a hillside (to the left) which cannot be seen on the following diagram.
I also began drawing a strange diagram. I spent days working at it to get it right. The teardrops had to be very very dark with a slight shine to it. The original was very elaborate but I lost it over the years while moving around so much. Today I just attempted to recreate how it generally looked.
The whole time a word kept popping into my head as I was working on it. Satus. I just felt it had something to do with this diagram and so I wrote the word with it. I felt so strongly that this diagram was important and that it had meaning. Who knows.
It wasn't long after my encounter with the craft that I ended up back in that end of the property again. This time to bury my cat who had suddenly just up and died for no reason. I remember he had blood coming out of his nose. I loved him so much I wanted to bury him near a tree which had a hollow in it. I loved that spot for some reason. Felt special to me. The horses were back there eating grass and hanging out like they do. I laid my cat down in a deep hole I dug and then covered him up. I knew if I didn't protect him the coyotes would get to him so I went to search for some big rocks to cover his burial spot. I found a couple went and laid them near the burial and then went in search of some more. I remember feeling like I was being followed so I stopped and turned around. A young filly was the closest to me, however she was eating grass and looking away so I figured I was imagining things so I continued searching for big rocks. Again I felt like I was being followed. The young filly was even closer but she was eating and ignoring me. I turned back around and continued my search. This time I knew for sure something was behind me. I wheeled around in time to see the filly rear up. She towered over my head. That's when I realised she was going to strike me. I looked down in time otherwise she would have broken my face. Instead she struck the top of my head. I collapsed to the ground thinking she broke my neck. I screamed blue murder. I just knew she would attack me again if I didn't get out of there so I crawled to a windrow nearby. My folks heard the scream back at the house and came running. They thought I was being mauled by a bear. My face and long hair was covered with blood from the gash on top my head. To this day we do not know why the horse attacked me. Our horses were good and had never done that before. And it never happened again. The attack occurred close to where I had seen that strange craft. To this day I have not come across anyone having had a similar sighting.
