I am writing to you concerning an incredible event I witnessed last night, Tuesday, April 21. I find it funny my sighting was the same night as other UFO reports that are coming out today. My sighting was most likely an experimental aircraft, but was incredible nevertheless.
I was driving in a remote area just north of Lake Eufaula, AL, headed back to school at Auburn, AL. It was approximately 8:30 PM at the time of the sighting. While driving, I noticed three incredibly bright lights in the distance, almost as if a plane was getting ready to land, yet there are no major airports near this area. After driving about a mile, I was almost directly under the object, and what I saw completely took me by surprise. I am an avid UFO researcher, and have had a couple of interesting sightings in my life, but never like this. The apparent aircraft was moving so slowly it seemed as if it was hovering over the highway. Due to the slow speed of the craft, I was able to stop my car directly under it to get out and get a good look. When out of my car, it slowly began to bank and turn in the direction it came from. I could not get over how low the craft was. There was a faint humming sound, but it was not loud at all. I could clearly make out a perfect triangle, with white lights on each corner. At the very front and middle of the craft were two red flashing lights, which led me to believe it was a military aircraft. As I watched, it turned and began to fly back over the forest towards the lake. The size of this craft was unbelievable, and I cannot get over how low it was to the ground. I also find it odd that it was the same night as apparently other "major" sightings occurred in FL and AZ. I truly believe something is going on, and I have a feeling something "big" is going to happen soon. I know what I saw most likely wasn't extraterrestrial, but the circumstances surrounding what I saw were just odd, especially the location which has no major airports or military sites nearby. I have been an avid reader of your site for some time now, and I figured you might be interested in hearing about this. Thanks for your time, keep up the good work BJ. Greetings from Alabama. -Patrick source & references: Submitted to UFO Casebook |
