On December 11, 2007, I was on a United Airlines flight from L.A. to O'Hare, scheduled to arrive around 9 am. It had been reported that there was a lot of snow in Chicago, but the day I landed, it was not actually snowing. As we began our descent, I looked out the window of the plane and saw 2 large black objects, that appeared to be moving, down and to the right of the plane.

At first, I was so confused, that I thought that the thick layer of cloud cover I was looking at was actually snow on the ground, and that what I was seeing were giant people walking on the snow, or a frozen snow covered lake. Then I realized we were still 13,000 feet in the air. Next, I thought maybe they were the tops of buildings poking through the very thick cloud layer. But, still, at 13,000 feet this did not make sense.

The objects were black, appeared to be hovering in a slight side to side motion and metallic looking. As we began our full descent, we broke through the cloud layer, and I could see that all buildings and people were WELL below where the plane was, and that whatever I had seen must have been suspended in air.

I don't know why, but I felt a certain amount of "nah, can't be," and just tried to put it out of my mind. Or, "I guess they have new technology now that floats in the air to help guide the planes coming in". No one else on the plane was saying anything, so either they didn't see them, or like me, they just had the "nah…" reaction that I was having.

Then today, I googled "UFO + Chicago O'Hare, and was surprised to see that this place has been linked with other sightings before. Submitted by L.
