Indiana-08-08-08-On good weather days, I take random pictures of the sky. I then download the pictures to my computer to see if there are any unknowns. A picture taken on Aug. 8, 2008 at 12:56 PM, shows what looks like a black triangle UFO. I did not see or hear the object when taking the photo.
The UFO was in the NE at approximately 70 to 80 degrees elevation. The weather conditions were perfect with a blue sky and a few clouds. The object is in the upper left with a cloud above it. The top of a maple tree is in the lower left corner of the picture. There may be a prosaic explanation for the object, but it looks like a black triangle when you zoom in on it. A photo expert would need to give an authoritative opinion. The camera: Canon SD630 6.0 mega pixel
Indiana-08-18-08-On 8/08/08 I took a picture of a black triangular UFO (picture and report above). Since then, I have taken more pictures trying to get another shot of the triangular object if it reappeared. Today (8/18/08) at 4:28 PM, I got a picture of a different UFO in the same general area of the sky (NE approx 60 degrees elevation).
I did not see or hear the object... only a photo. Sky conditions were excellent (clear blue sky). At the top center of the photo is a white object. On zoom inspection, there appears to be a disc-like recessed surface with a rim. You can see the shadow and sunlit area typical of a rim feature. Next to the disc are white unknowns. There may be a logical prosaic explanation for the object. I could not identify it, so it's a UFO to me.
