03-17-08-I didn't know who else to present this photo to, until I discovered your website. My name is Michael and I've had at least four sightings in my life of unexplainable objects in the sky, therefore I am a true believer in the existence of UFO's. I've told people of my sightings, but am met with ridicule. To prove my sanity, I bought a digital camera (Canon Power Shot SD630), in hopes of capturing some evidence to back up my experiences. A few months months ago, I was on my backyard deck and spotted a deep, red sphere traveling very slowly across the sky. It did not blink or flash, but remained a very deep shade of red. It was very hard to tell distance due to it's size, which was unusually large (about the size of a silver dollar held at arm's length). I rushed inside to get my camera, and at the very moment that I took the first photo, the red sphere seemed to implode. It just shrank in size and disappeared in the blink of an eye. Fearing that I was just a second too late with my camera, I rushed inside to download the photo. I was excited to find that there actually was something in the photo. It appears as a golden, orange sphere with a hole in the center, in the left upper portion of the photo. The line through the center is a power line just outside my house. I must admit that what I actually saw and what was captured by the camera are not the same. Possibly, the camera caught it mid-implosion or the camera was out of focus due to the power line. This happened over Memphis, Tennessee.
