Due to Thanksgiving weekend, (on FRIDAY, NOV. 28TH) I didn't know if you guys were aware of a string of very similar sightings from Great Britain (with video) to Arizona and California (with photos) of two objects (about a mile apart), the top object smaller and dimmer than the lower, larger objects.

I have never seen such a string of related reports from different countries and states. The objects moved slowly from NE (GB, New England) to SW (AZ, CA).

LISTED BELOW are the dates submitted (in the order they were received as of 11/29 1:55PM CST) and the descriptions.

Sighting 1-Great Britain-Date Submitted 2008-11-28-Date of Event 2008-11-28-2 lights, one following other and maintaining equal distance.

I am interested in stars and planets a lot. I was returning from work, when I saw Jupiter and Venus close by.

As soon as I reached home, I went into the garden and was looking at the two, when I moved my head above I saw 2 bright lights stationary... a bit too bright to be part of any constellation.

After about 5 seconds they both moved together, very slowly. At the same time I saw a plane blinking and going in opposite directions, so I think this was not a plane and the plane was very dull... so probably higher in the sky.

I ran inside and called my partner and aunt out, In the meantime, I pulled out my handy cam and shot it. When I focused it, it looked like a bright ball of some sort. The back light was brighter than the front.

It appeared that the two lights were ends of something long. The distance between the two lights was about 4 fists...any idea what this is?

I have been doing star watch for a while... never saw anything like this, may be someone clever has an answer.

Sighting 2-CT, US-Date Submitted-2008-11-28-Date of Event-2008-11-28-Vertical: top sphere like a bright star: lower sphere, big,

I watched this vertical baton move slowly and silently for 2 hrs, binoculars on lower sphere, looked exactly like a planet, with map like surface, rotating completely in about 1 second, rotating from right to left. I am a retired police officer.

Sighting 3-OH-US-Date Submitted-2008-11-28-Date of Event-2008-11-28-There were two lights one on top of the other about a mile or so apart.

The top light was smaller than the bottom light, the bottom light was bigger and brighter. They were there for about an hour and then they just shot off and I could no longer see them.

I noticed them because they were so bright, at first I thought they were lights from a tower but I realized there is no tower in the area. I saw the lights and they weren't blinking and there was no red light at the top for aircraft, so I continued to watch the lights until they took off. It was very exciting when I realized that I had just seen something I couldn't explain. My cousin and mother both saw the lights.

Sighting 4-TX, US-Date Submitted-2008-11-28-Date of Event-2008-11-28-Two extremely bright spheres of light that are perpendicular to each other and they appear stationary.

Sighting 5-NH, US-Date Submitted-2008-11-28-Date of Event-2008-11-28-2 extremely bright objects hovering perpendicular to each other just above tree line, changing intensities in brightness and then disappearing.

My husband and I went outside our home in Warner, NH, at approximately 6 PM. There were 2 extremely bright objects hovering above the tree line. One was just above the tree line from where I stood on a deck that is slightly elevated. There was a second object that hovered directly perpendicular above the first, and they seemed to move in conjuction.

The lights radiated from the craft at the tree line in the form of beams in all directions from the center straight out. The intensity of the light on both objects started out very strong, the one at the tree line strongest at first, but then the second became brighter. Their movements were erratic, hovering yet moving slightly within a small area on the horizon line. I observed this activity until both lights disappeared-roughly 30 minutes.

Three witnesses (including myself) look at this skyline on a daily basis and have never seen any celestial bodies previously in this location at the stated time. 2 other witnesses who showed up during this period had witnessed the lights while traveling, one on 89 Southbound from Lebanon, and the other headed Northbound on 89 from Concord.

Sighting 6-TX, US-Date Submitted-2008-11-28-Date of Event-2008-11-28-Two very bright star like objects

Coming home and saw low in the southwest sky two very bright star like objects. They were vertically in line with each other. The one on the bottom was extremely larger and brighter than the one just above it. Took my husband outside and he saw them also.

Went back out about 10 minutes later and they were gone. Does anyone know if one or both were planets maybe? Had a feeling that they weren't. Pretty cool!

Sighting 7-IL, US-Date Submitted-2008-11-29-Date of Event-2008-11-28-2-Very bright/low lights on top of one another, moving slowly in unison.

This sighting began as I was looking out the window while on the phone. I noticed two lights, and immediately grabbed binoculars. The lights appeared to be disc-shaped, not round or star like, but it was impossible to be sure from the distance. At times it seemed they dimmed and then got brighter. I then went outside to get a better look.

The top light was dimmer than the bottom one. They were both significantly lower than any other stars in the sky. There is a lot of light pollution in the area so I could tell they were extremely bright. The lights moved so slowly that they appeared stationary. I kept an eye on them for the next half an hour and they were starting to slowly make their way west.

I got in my car with a friend and we watched them on our way out to the highway. It was at this point they finally moved out of sight after roughly an hour of watching them.

I should mention I have seen many strange things in this area, including a massive orb next to a chemtrail as it was being sprayed, lightning striking in a very concentrated area for over an hour, a mile wide rainbow cloud and a flaming potentially hazardous asteroid that was the size of the sun. I always check the skies, day or night, as it appears to be a lively spot in many respects.

Sighting 8-AZ, US-Date Submitted-2008-11-29-Date of Event-2008-11-28-Two bright lights. One above the other. Stationary approx. 2+hrs., then gone! The lights were in the SW sky.

I went outside with my dog approx. 7:15 PM. I looked up towards the SW and saw two very bright lights. One above the other. One was smaller than the other. The smaller of the two was above the other. They were approx. 10-15 miles away from me. Not high in the sky at all. You can see that when you look at my pictures.

I went back inside real quick to get my camera. Went back out and took a few pictures. First two were clear. rest got shaky. The lights seemed to be very, very bright, and then dim just slightly, enough to notice it though. Then I went back inside to download the pictures.

I did not go back out for awhile, as I had other commitments. When I did go back out around 11:00 PM, they were gone. Stars were out though. Just NONE like or as BRIGHT as what I took pictures of.

My husband asked me what I was doing, and I told him taking pictures of the sky, and he said that he had seen them out there about an hour or so before me. He is used to seeing things in our sky here. I am too. This is the 3rd report I have sent in to MUFON.

Sighting 9-same contributor as 8 above-AZ, US-Date Submitted-2008-11-29-Date of Event-2008-11-28-Two star like objects SW sky.

This is an attachment to event or ID number 14114. The second picture did not come through. So I am resending it.

Sighting 10-IA, US-Date Submitted-2008-11-29-Date of Event-2008-11-28-2 objects in SW sky aligned on top of one another.

While traveling west on I-80 in Central Iowa, I looked to my southwest and saw 2 star-like objects perpendicular to each other, looked somewhat odd. Later I looked to the southwest and they were gone, object on bottom seemed to be dimming in and out, object on bottom was larger and brighter. Could not estimate distance.

Sighting 11-CA, US-Date Submitted-2008-11-29-Date of Event-2008-11-28-2 bright objects apart and vertical. Bigger one faded and reappeared. Also, last Friday, an unusual green, blue, and white light flickering UFO at night.

Yesterday I finally took a good look at these 2 peculiar bright objects in the sky. I've been seeing them for at least 3 days in a row. But yesterday I got my camera to see what the heck these things were doing, they were so bright, that I could hardly see any other star in the sky because of all the cloudiness, in the night. They were a long distance apart, but vertical to each other. The object at the bottom was triple the size or more of the object above it.

I videotaped it, and as I was doing so, the bottom bright sphere faded out and then back in. I didn't think of reporting it and deleted the footage, because I felt somebody will shrug it off as stars, but now that I read all the accounts of the same thing these past few days, I know that this isn't some normal thing. I will take footage again tonight, and send you pictures.

Also, what I find odd is that just last Friday, I went outside and witnessed the oddest silver sphere that looked like a glowing balloon in the night, with what looked like ridiculous red, green and white lights alternately flickering on it.

This object seemed so surreal, like a 3D cartoon in the sky. It hovered in the area in the distance above the houses to the east of my house, and then it slowly lowered behind the trees in the distance. I unfortunately did not expect this to happen, and didn't have enough battery in my cam, but nonetheless, I ran to get it and caught the object for a few seconds.

I had to climb a ledge to get the scarce footage, but when I uploaded it to myspace video, the quality of the footage was degraded and did not look as clear as it did on my Exilim camera. I'm afraid of this happening again tonight. But nonetheless, I will take footage, because whatever these two bright star-like objects are, they've been lingering in the sky for days.

The pictures are of the object that I caught on the previous Friday. I will let you know that the sky above my house is an itinerary of planes to LAX, I believe. But the vague pic with red is the one of the object I saw that night, I also believe the white object was the same thing, but my cam kept turning off as the battery was so low. As for the two star-like objects, they were in a completely different part of the sky, and were immobile. I will try to take pictures of these other objects tonight.
