Ontario, Canada-10-11-08-It was a clear blue sky, some wispy clouds. My wife and I noticed a cylinder-shaped object moving across the sky. It was traveling from a south to north/north-east direction. Elevation angle was about 45 degrees. Would estimate elevation to be about 3-4 miles.
The object was cylinder-shaped when we first observed it, and changed shape to disc as it traveled further away from us. The object shimmered against the sunlight, appearing to be metallic. It moved in a slow, constant direction. It did not travel horizon to horizon, but appeared to leave our sight by travelling up and outward from our view. I was able to take a digital picture of it as it appeared to be a disc shape. We both did not believe this object to be any commercial aircraft, nor appear to be anything "normal" in our sky.
