Australia-12-27-08-11.20 pm-We were on the road between Marong and Myers Flat, near Bendigo Victoria, and we were about to leave after seeing an incredible amount of shooting stars.
Then my partner Craig pointed to something on the northwest horizon... it was this incredibly bright, yellow, long light in the shape of a flat aeroplane on its side (kinda like a big mosquito).
It was also very low flying, and rather large. It was moving much faster than a satelitte or aeroplane, and was not flashing at all. We also noticed that it was hovering and waning as it moved across the sky.
It moved across until it was almost due west, then it flew off into the sky, towards the stars/space and disappeared.
We were both really quiet for a while, and decided to go home. It was the single most strangest thing we have ever seen. Can anyone tell us what it was?
