I just wanted to point out that an object I photographed over Austin, Texas is very similar in shape/structure to another of your submissions from Texas.
Michigan-12-05-08-I witnessed some very strange lights, "orange-reddish, and an object with white, blue, and green continuous lights, not flashing in the south/southwest sky over Lake Michgan. The orange colored lights moved real fast in "V"-"W" movements, and also like another Grand Haven report, the objects did dives.
Like the other man said, like "bomber dives," very fast and abrupt dives, and almost pattern-like movements. The lights also would vanish and then reappear a few moments later.
It became pretty clear it was like nothing I had ever seen in the sky above the lake in Grand Haven, kind of strange that there have been these reports in the same area in Ottawa county near Lake Michigan. They all sound very similar in nature. This just reassures me that I am not the only one to witness these lights in the sky.
The "dive bomb" statement is very accurate, as well as the strange pattern-like movements. Thanks to everyone for posting your sightings, please post more if you see anything.
Unknown Object and Jet Sighted over California in March, 2008
California-03-15-08-Driving to work one day during the morning, in Sacramento, from Watt Ave entering Highway 50-East. My exit was Sunrise Blvd in Rancho Cordova, about 15 minutes before I got off the freeway. Then I began to notice a steel-colored object I assumed to be a old world war 2 bomber that is a common sight when the Air shows from the nearby military base occur.
The distant object went from the left side of the freeway, gradually to the right over a 5 minute period. Driving down a semi empty patch of freeway, the object came closer, the bright morning sun on the steel glowed off the top making it hard to see.
After the object moved to the right side of the freeway, a jet came from behind my car. It was impossible to miss from the square intakes to the wings that stood out distinctively that could fold back.
The cockpit of the jet faced left in a hard turn as it crossed the middle of the freeway. The jet rotated its orientation facing to the right
dragging, its own weight to counter act the first turn.
In half the turn, towards the object as it came close, began to change from even flight and started to react as the top of the craft bent in the direction of the jet.
After the jet "buzzed" the object closest, it veered in the opposite direction left, revealing the underside to have a receded dark ring and a center that was not sunk inward.
The climax that followed after I was shocked from the first pass followed as the jet made another pass in the same direction. Tthe difference was the object was off to the right more. As the F-14 approached the object, it was swaying side to side as a response to the object's movement, left to right four or five times. At the last moment something happened, the craft began to disappear from bottom to top, time stood still to me as a witness.
I would describe this as transparency, as the craft began to disappear from bottom to top as the darkest regions went first to the upper top right as the brightest as all was seen last as a brilliant refection off a steel hull from the sun that was reduced to a speck in moments.
The craft was larger than the perusing jet by about 1/3 or more.
After the object disappeared, the jet veered off to the right of the freeway, I assumed it went to the air force base nearby in Ranch Cordova again.
I could not see any windows in the craft due to the sun's reflection. It had a shiny steel look to most of the craft except one circular part underneath it.
Unknown Object Photographed over Montenegro, 08-09-07
Montenegro-08-09-07-I and my family decided to go on a trip. We went to the lake, Sisko Jezero, and then we walked to the top of a hill.
Then we saw two cyclers. My father asked them to stop to make a photo of his girl friend, who was also with us. I made first one photo, and then after 13 seconds, I made the other photo.
I actually didn't see the object. We didn`t hear, feel, or see anything at the time. But when I arrived at home, I was looking at my photos on the computer, and I saw the UFO.
The place where I photographed the UFO is called Jelenak. It`s on the mountain range Bjelasica. I felt lucky to photograph a UFO. That was my dream, and it came true.
Note: The Bjelasica Mountains are located in the central-northern part of Montenegro, among the towns of Kolašin on the southwest, Berane on the east, and Mojkovac in the northwest.
Unknown Objects Seen/Photographed-Bay of Plenty, Tauranga, New Zealand
Bay of Plenty, Tauranga, New Zealand-1/1/09, 2am (NZ time) approximately.
Five witnesses: no sound, with clear weather.
Hello, this morning at Mclaren Falls in New Zealand, my mates and I were camping and at about 2 am we saw several yellowish lights moving from right to left across the sky, they looked at least 15 to 30 km's away and very high in the sky.
They all moved at slightly different speeds (photo 1) and then seemed to park into a sort of arc shape (photo 2). They then slowly started to move down behind hills and trees. As they did this, they got dimmer and disappeared before dropping below the hills (photo 3). Then, just as we lost sight of them, another came up from the same distance off behind the hills, moved to the spot the others formed the arc shapes and did the same thing (photo 4).

UFO Photographed near Ely Cathedral, Cambridge, England
I received a very interesting, albeit unusual report from a gentleman who resides in England. It seems that on December 24, 2008, he was visiting the Ely Cathedral in Cambridge, for the Christmas Eve Carol Service.
He was also there to take part in a street lamp experiment inspired by a book, "The Orb Project," by Miceal Ledwith and Klaus Heinneman.
Having been a photographer for over 40 years, he was fascinated by Miceal's theory on orbs as fluorescing beings.
He was attempting to take some of the photographic experimentation to another level, shooting straight into the fluorescent lamps.
It seems that he made a big discovery even before he took the photographs.
While aiming at a street lamp, he claims to have seen a UFO materialize before his eyes.
He noticed that if he tilted the camera right or left, or up or down, the orbs came into view, or vanished if they were there before.
It seemed that the UFOs were still, as if posing to be photographed.
He states that he knows that what he is saying seems beyond belief, and I will let you folks out there with expertise in photograph wrestle with this one.
He used a Samsung P1000 10.2 megapixel digital camera. His wife and nine-year-old son were there also.

As hundreds of people gazed upon the skies above The Empire Hotel & Country Club after the clock struck midnight, New Year's Day, Borneo Bulletin photojournalist Jason Leong captured this amazing shot of what appears to be an unidentified flying object as the fireworks brightened up the dark skies.
This image was actually one of the many shots captured using a "cable release" connected to a Canon EOS 5D digital SLR camera equipped with a Canon 70-200MM F2.8 IS (L) lens.
The digital SLR camera was put onto a Manfrotto tripod stand.
The photo was taken at around 12.18am at Tungku Beach.
