I received an e-mail from a reader who linked me to his online photo gallery. I looked over his photos, and thought they were very interesting, and I believe you will also. We are posting a few of the many photos below.

The images were taken at Wurtsboro Airport, New York on May 19, 2009, at 5:00 PM. To see the entire gallery, go to the following URL:

Here is what the photographer says:

I did not notice the objects while taking the photos. No one else noticed anything. There were only 2 or 3 others at the airfield at the time. I was the only one out by the wind tee.

I would like to add that the series of photos were taken in 45 sec time span. And that the shutter speed was 1/320 sec. In most of the photos the camera is facing to the northeast.

All photos that I have taken with that camera, (and that's been 1000's,) and all since that series have never produced anything like that.

One other thing that might be of interest and that is Wurtsboro Airfield is about 8 miles west of Pine Bush NY, which I understand is famous for unusual sky sightings...

I would be very interested in knowing if there are others that have taken similar images.
