Finland, 06-13-09

Iltalehti newspaper reader filmed ball lightning (fireball), or some unknown flying object while driving on road Lansivayla close to the capital city of Helsinki in Finland.

It was last Saturday, on 06-13-09, and during a thunderstorm, as you can readily see from the video below. If the object in question was ball lightning, it would be incredibly rare, and I believe it has never been filmed before.

Ball lightning last usually only couple of seconds, and diameter is from couple of inches to 1 meter.

Editor's Note: Knowing what I know about ball lightning, the object in the film is NOT ball lightning. This is not saying that I know what the glowing object is, but maybe one of our readers has an idea.
