Orange Lights over Britain: No Real Mystery?
Alleged UFOs over Lincoln

For many years while I have been researching this subject there have been many reports of strange, orange lights here in the UK. Usually these orange lights are seen floating in large groups of up to twenty objects.

Photographs and video footage has been taken of these alleged UFOs, but are they truly of unknown origin? That's the question on my mind, and on the mind of many other researchers as these reports continue to flood in.

The most recent sighting was reported in The Sun newspaper. And as usual, The Sun blew the entire event out of proportion, reporting the incident in an over the top, completely ridiculous manner. I mean it’s great that the media is taking an interest, but at least report the events in a proper manner.

But no, as usual we have minimal information and the event being blown out of proportion. The Sun newspaper thought it was okay to come to the following conclusion regarding the sighting:

“The eerie extraterrestrial crafts were hovering in the night sky over the town”

As a UFO researcher I would never use such definitive terms to describe an event in which no explanation is yet present. Just because lights are seen in the sky with no definite explanation does not immediately mean the event cannot be explained.

The reported incident took place on Sunday, June 2nd at 10:30 pm in Lincoln, England. Up to around twenty objects were seen flying across the sky. Engineer Paul Slight captured the incident on his mobile phone as many residents of the local area gathered to watch the lights.

The fact of the matter is these orange lights have been reported in the UK on countless occasions. Despite what others may say, it is a matter of pure fact that these orange lights have been explained as Chinese Lanterns in the past. In the night sky, these lanterns can look extremely suspect and bizarre, and can even appear to be making formations.

It sounds stupid to say these events are caused by lanterns, but at the end of the day they do look very mysterious when at a high altitude. I don't blame people for reporting these events, but an objective stance must be taken with regards to these sightings. In my opinion, we cannot just assume they an intelligently controlled craft, we must look at the credible explanations being offered.
