New Rochelle, NY -06-02-09

On June 2, 2009, at about 12:35 while on my lunch break, I decided to take pictures while in the park library in New Rochelle, NY, due to the heavy jet activity overhead. From past experience, I have photographed and witnessd white balls of light chasing or tracking jetliners at times.

They have even come down out of the sky and confronted me as to what I was doing. That day there were plenty of people in the park, but due to the speed and distance they could not see what I was photographing other than the jet and besides people were too busy doing whatever they were doing.

But through the camera's 400 mm lens you could see small pinhead balls of light criss-crossing at high speeds in front of the jetliner making maneuvers a normal craft could not make. The speed at which they appeared to be moving was 7 times the speed of the jet.

That day I must have photographed 20 to 30 lights chasing jets, even through they do this on a daily basis, so I have learned that if you set your camera up to shoot in continuous mode shooting whether you see the light with your eyes or not, you will by accident catch one on your camera.

Putting the pictures in a video format you will see that they move intelligently - therefore it as to be some type of craft. I use an infrared camera on somewhat clear blue skies because the sky will show up black anything that is giving off light will stand out.

These craft can render themselves invisible where you cannot see them with the naked eye, but the camera will pick them up as shadows - grey to black spots in the picture. Again, to know whether it is dirt or something other, then you must shoot in continuous mode, put the pictures in a video format, and watch their movements.
