Hello, I have attached what I truly believe to be audio of a UFO. Two friends and I went for a hike in the Hudson Valley part of New York.
It was about a week after 9/11/01, mid to late afternoon. I don't recall the exact day.
I had my new video camcorder with me because I was testing it out. You'll hear me talk about "exposure" etc.
This was during the week and if there were any other people there, we would've seen them. It was a nice day. Clear skies.
At the point of hearing the sound, we were pretty close to the top of the mountain - maybe about 200 feet or so. Maybe less.
When we arrived at the top, we saw that it was a huge flat-rocked area - which further confirmed my belief that it was a UFO.
Other than the sound, there were no other indications of anything. No strange feeling or change in temperature or physical changes in the immediate area.
Don't ask me why I didn't tilt the camera up to the sky. I have no idea why I didn't do that. Weird, I know. I was also very quick to say that it was a UFO as well. I just said it with no thought about it either... very matter of fact.
It happened very quickly and then the sound was gone. None of us had anything to create or duplicate a sound like that, nor would I have ANY desire to make this up and waste our time.
There's no doubt in my mind that they exist and are present in ways that are beyond our human senses. I need no proof. This footage is the real deal.
Note: The woman in the video had seen a UFO up close while attending Vassar College many years ago. It was hovering above the campus and when she went outside to get some air at night, during the intermission of a show, she saw it. It was only a few hundred feet above her.
I don't think it's a random thing that happened. I do believe that certain people are chosen to experience these things. So for us to hear that, it wasn't all that shocking to either of us.
If you have any further questions, I'll try to answer them as best I can but the above is all I can really tell you.
(Editor's Note: I wrote the submitter and asked him if I was correct in assuming that none of the three at the scene saw anything, yet all three heard the sound. He confirmed this, and added:)
No, we saw nothing unusual. A minute after that sound, there was something on the ground in the far distance that was smoking. It would be presumptuous for me to think that it was at all related to what we heard. However, it's a possibility I guess.
I'd think at this point, there's no way to prove that. Yes, we all heard it. With really good headphones, you'll hear it much better.
