Connecticut - 12-23-09

While waiting for the Port Jefferson Ferry in Bridgeport CT, I opened the sunroof of our car to entertain my daughter.

I pointed out a seagull to her, and noticed a silver sphere-shaped object moving steadily across the sky at a high rate of speed and at a high altitude.

I pointed it out to my wife and she observed the object as well. I could see it clearly for 15 seconds, my wife maybe 10. I have been tested at 20/15 vision, and I had no obstruction of view.

I believe we were facing east and the object was moving from north to south. We both agreed it wasn't an airplane or helicopter and definitely not a balloon.

The object instantly vanished from sight, not out of view. My wife is a skeptic but later admitted to it being a possible UFO.
