Woman Relates Husband's Sighting at King Ranch, Texas
Depiction

King Ranch, Texas

The following report is an open letter sent to Ron Cherry, Texas MUFON director.

Mr. Cherry,

My husband had a hunting lease on the King Ranch for many years. The pastures were located on the gulf, just south of Corpus Christi, Texas. My husband was leaving the ranch after dark, about 10 years ago.

He got out of his truck to unlock one of the many gates. Approximately 100 feet over his head, he states, flew a large object, outlined in flames.

The object was in the shape of a diamond, making no noise whats0ever. At first, he thought this might be some space debris, re-entering the atmosphere. He climbed on top of his truck to get a better view, as the object flew away, at the same altitude, and trajectory.

He then got into his truck and followed the path of the object, thinking that there would be a crash of some sort. Nothing, the object was out of sight in a few minutes.

No news of any crashed objects followed. My husband states that this was no plane, secret, or otherwise. It was so large that it blocked the view of the stars as it flew over him..

My husband's location was such, that the UFO had to have come in over the gulf, moving southeast. He swears to me, on the life of our children, that this is a true statement. He never told anyone but his family of this experience, unless the subject of UFOs came up in conversations.

He is a successful real estate broker, and did not want to be thought a lunatic, liar, or fraud.

I watched your appearance on Larry King, January 18, 2008 today on (You Tube), decided to write to you, of his experience. He had another very strange experience near Laredo, Texas, many years ago. I'll save that, for another time.

I have always believed that Texas is perfect for any other-worldly visitors. After all, we still have many wide open spaces, what I refer to as; "Out in, leave you for dead." There are very few people in many parts of Texas, as you must well know.

Most Sincerely,

DS
