Deming, New Mexico - 1997

My name is B. and I wanted to tell you about something that happened to me in the summer of 1997. I have not told this to anyone, in fear that they might think I am crazy.

My ex husband and I were living in Deming, NM, approximately 10 miles southwest of the city limits. It was about 10 PM when I noticed a white light, perfectly round with no tail or glow around it.

I said to my husband, Bob, "Look behind you, and tell me what you see."

He did and said "Oh you mean that white light?"

It slowly rose straight up, stopped for about two seconds, and then immediately took off in a 45 degree angle towards the sky. It left so fast! Nothing can move that fast.

We never spoke of it again. This sighting has haunted me for years. I am 50 years old, and I didn't want to go to my grave without telling someone.

Please know that this is not an attempt to be recognized for anything, in fact I would rather you don't say anything about it using my name.

Have you ever had anyone have this type of sighting or am I crazy?
