Sao Paulo, Brazil - 11/11/2009 at 00:45 hours
On the night of November 11, 2009, the blackout in Brazil occurred. The blackout cut electricity in almost 800 cities in the country, and left 60 million people in the dark.
I went to bed pretty early, I was bored. I laid down in my bed to check email and schedules on my cell phone, and about 00:45 hours. I observed through the window some lights flying above my building. I ran to the window thinking that it could be an airplane, but the air traffic goes until 11 PM.
It was not an airplane or a helicopter. For a few seconds while it was still around, I could clearly see that it was a dark object, black, rectangular in shape, with four white lights of constant brightness at each end and two red lights flashing differently from each other at the bottom. I tried to film the object with the mobile phone, but could not capture anything.
I have no idea what height it was, but it seemed quite low. There was no sound, and it seemed to be smaller and faster than a commercial airplane. As it moved away, I could no longer see the solid and dark part of the object, only its red lights flashing and white static lights.
The object appeared to the east and moved towards the west, and I watched it until it disappeared in the distance. All this lasted about 1.5 minutes.
I quickly drew on Corel Draw what I saw. I'm doing some research on the Internet, trying to find out some report or sighting of anyone that could have seen the same thing as I did, but until the present time I just find one guy in Rio de Janeiro who had seen a similar object a few minutes before me.
Thanks for reading my email
