Queen Creek, Arizona, Hunt Highway
Object - Thin cylinder, almost cigarette-shaped and gray as big as a small airplane but longer.
No other witnesses, no sound from object. Weather - Clear skies, dark and cold - no unusual smells or effects, no missing time.
I was driving back home from my boyfriend's house in San Tan Valley, AZ. It was 12:20 AM on November 10, 2010.
I was headed on Hunt Highway towards my house (Chandler, AZ) which was about 15 min from the sighting. It is very dark on the road.
Right before I got to a four way stop on Power Road, I saw two very bright lights in the sky. It looked like when a car has their brights turned on.
It started to look like a plane going to land, but there was nowhere to land.
As I got to Power Road I contemplated going a different route, but of course wanted to see what it was. I'm headed down the dark area on Hunt Highway. I could see the lights ,but they were not as bright as before. They were a little higher than the mountains.
Luckily no one was behind me, so I drove slowly and rolled down my window. As I got even with it, it was going the opposite direction.
It had been hovering the whole time. I got a pretty good look at it. It was a very thin gray-cylinder shaped and long.
It had two square like fins on either side of the back part, and a red light blinking slowly. It was literally hovering, but as I slowed down to watch it started moving.
It moved very slowly and there was no sound coming from it. This is not the first time that something strange has happened in this area.
One night I was driving home and talking on the phone to my boyfriend. As I approached this same area my boyfriend screamed my name and hung up.
He called me right back and said that he was so scared. He said as I was talking, he heard a voice like an alien or demon. He said it was the scariest thing he had ever heard and still has trouble talking about it to this day. There is a test facility over in that area.
They test jet engines and there is an Indian reservation. This did not look or sound like a jet engine though. I drew a picture. (above, left)
