near Bastrop, Texas
Yesterday, Tuesday, the fourth of May, I was at the intersection of LBA Drive and Highway 95 just North of Bastrop, Texas.
I was facing west toward Austin and it was near lunch time. I saw a cylinder-type object in the south horizon moving very fast, and flying much faster than the approaching and departing aircraft from Austin's airport.
The object was smaller than the average passenger plane, and glowed silver. It stopped and hovered for just a few seconds as if waiting for me to get my phone ready to snap a picture.
After a few seconds it disappeared as I was looking at it. I had to take the picture through my windshield so the quality isn't that good.
It is to the right of the pole just above the power line. I believe the second object immediately above it is a reflection in my windshield.
It flew much faster than an airliner, and then hovered before disappearing.
Have a good day,
Pat
