I was enjoying a BBQ at a friend's house, when a mate of mine pointed to something in the sky. We looked up and sure enough there were three cylinders moving upwards.

I ran to the car to grab my Camera (Samsung PL100 12.2 megapixel). I returned to the backyard where my friends were still squinting skywards, and some of them were pointing camera phones toward the objects.

I managed to take around 15 shots, most of which were blurred, but here I have attached the best picture I made.

We observed them for only 2 or 3 minutes, then they slowly and silently faded into the heavens.

I don’t know what they were, but they weren't balloons or anything I recognized.
