Coast of Tyrrhenian Sea, Italy - October 30, 2009

My name is Ivan, and I am an Italian journalist. I am also a researcher of UFOs and I would like to report an incident that happened here in Italy, along the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

I will briefly describe the facts. I have sent you the photo taken by the witness. You can also read the article and view the photo on my website at this link: http://www.ivanceci.it/2010/03/02/ufo-nuovi-sviluppi-sul-caso-di-tor-san-lorenzo-ecco-la-foto-originale/

These are the facts:

This article details a story that I published in mid-November last year, the site of this extraordinary sighting was on the coast near Rome, on the morning of 30 October 2009.

About four months after the event, I came in possession of new material, including the original photo, recently recovered from a witness, who has now gone public in this second article, along with a brief summary of the facts and some of my final thoughts on the case.

FACTS

On the morning of October 30, 2009, at around 8:30, Mr. LM stood on the roof of his house in Tor San Lorenzo (Ardea, RM), he was cleaning his chimney, when he noticed directly above his house a dark, disc-shaped object in the sky.

The witness, then, realizing the incredible event he was involved in, rushed into the house, securing his digital camera (model KODAK EASYSHARE V803 DIGITAL CAMERA 8Mpx) and proceeded to the front garden.

Arriving in the garden, he quickly took a photograph of the object which was still stationary in the sky.

He then changed his camera settings to the video mode, but the object disappeared without making a sound, or leaving a trace of its presence.

In the days following, the witness took the memory card to an optical shop where they printed on Kodak paper three magnifications of the object from the original photo.

HOW I BECAME AWARE OF THE CASE

In mid-November 2009, I was was alerted by a local journalist, a longtime friend of the witness, who, knowing my interest in the subject, put me in touch with the author of the photo.

Then I went to the witness to speak with him and check out all of the details.

He told me in detail the facts of the case, he was very open and kind, giving me a copy of the photograph and enlargements. He also made available to me the camera, where I checked its settings on the photograph.

On that occasion, at my request to examine the original file of the photo, the witness told me the memory card on which it was stored was lost a few days before returning to the store where he had it magnified.

At that point, I acquired all the information possible, and afterwards I went to the development department to check the witness's story. I was in touch with him until the memory card was found, along with the original photo. These were sent back to the witness.

RECENT DEVELOPMENTS

The witness / photographer called me back to this house, where I was able to extract the original file directly from the camera.

The photo, numbered 100_0535, was taken on the morning of 30 October, 2009, at 8.45, a quarter of an hour later than I remembered the witness at first, and kept inside all the EXIF data and other metadata needed the identification of the technical characteristics with which it had been used for photos.

Also the photo, which had numbered in the ad (one 4GB Secure Digital), was actually the penultimate shot in 2009 before a new series of photos taken from 7 February 2010, the period of the discovery of the card. This is further confirmation of the story of the witness.

CONCLUSIONS

The case of Tor San Lorenzo is, in my opinion, one of the most extraordinary UFO events of recent years both for the credibility of the witness testimony to the high quality photography.

The object photographed has very strong analogies and similarities with another great event that happened in Spain, near Madrid, in June, 1967. Even that case were brought ample evidence supporting the sighting including several photo shoots, mysterious traces on the ground and several eyewitnesses.

In the case of Tor San Lorenzo, also, one can say that the incident of 30 October is not an isolated event. Since the beginning of summer 2009, there has been recorded numerous sightings of bright objects and spheres of light, some also equipped with video and photographs.

Further clues indicate that there might be a special connection with a strip of land connecting larger areas over the years which have recorded numerous cases of sightings of unidentified objects, such as Ostia and Rome to the north, and further south, the area Latina, and especially Sabotino Village / Lake Fogliano.

For all these reasons that the case of retention Tor San Lorenzo, has, to date, one of the most solid and extraordinary UFO case studies of Italy, demonstrating unequivocally the presence of unidentified flying objects, or objects not originating in the skies of our planet Earth.
