Great Falls, Montana - 15 August 1950, 11:25 a.m. MST

This is an excerpt from the 1956 documentary film named “U.F.O.”. The excerpt includes an interview with Nicholas Mariana: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogQUnT_ROBQ As can be seen and heard in this UFO documentary film excerpt, the U.S. Government (U.S. Air Force) concluded the following after having performed an extensive analysis of the Nicholas Mariana film:

“The objects moved almost directly counter to the wind direction. They are not balloons. Studies of the magnified pictures projected frame by frame show the motion of the objects to have been steady and horizontal. They are definitely not free-falling. They are not meteors, birds, nor any kind of known aircraft.

"The shape, brightness, speed, rectilinear path, steady motion and separation rule out various forms of optical atmospheric mirages or cloud reflection. Comprehensive analysis has eliminated meteors and other known natural phenomena. The possibility of airplane reflection has been carefully studied and ruled out.”

In short, after having performed the analysis of the Mariana film, the U.S. Government admitted that 2 unknown, manufactured aircraft flew over Great Falls on 15 August 1950.
