Norfolk, UK - 06-15-09

I was on holiday at my dad's house, which is right next to the sea in Norfolk, United Kingdom. I was called ou side to see an orange ball.

At first, I thought it was just another lantern, but this thing was moving south to north, and then it stopped above us.

It was rotating left and right. It then shot out to sea within seconds. Then further down the coast it came back towards us before shooting straight up and out of sight.

I had a standard 5 mp camera with no night feature, but because of what we were seeing, I started snapping away hoping to capture a small glimpse of what this might be.

However, when I put these pictures on my computer, all I got was a green static screen, except for this one great picture.
