near Ventura, CA - August, 2009

The attached video was sent to me by an acquaintance who would only give it up if guaranteed they would remain anonymous.

I, too, wish to be anonymous, but I think the photos are worthwhile and would be interested in your take on them.

The incident supposedly occurred in August 2009 on the California coast near Ventura. The sighting was very quick and the photos were taken with time lapse, roughly one second apart.

I don't know any details regarding the specifications of the camera. Clearly there were other witnesses, and I am wondering if anyone else has contacted you regarding this.
