Brazil, 2006

This event happened in April 2006. I do not remember the exact date.

The sighting occurred about 1000 hours in the city of Arujá in the state of Sao Paulo, near the International Airport of Guarulhos.

At this time I was at work in the administrative building of the factory. I saw through the window what looked like a balloon, so I was not surprised.

What got my attention was the fact that the object sat in the same place for 15 minutes.A balloon would not stay in place this length of time.

I grabbed my camera and took three consecutive shots of the object that was above the trees. Visually, it appeared metallic, it remained at the same height, but seemed to be spinning.

After taking the pictures, and the object disappeared, I showed my friends at work what I had photographed.

This was my second sighting of a total of 5, but the only one with visual proof.

Frankly I would normally think this was a weather balloon, even being close (approximately 10 km) from the airport station.

But the fact remains that no balloon can site in the sky in the same position for that long.

In the picture the object is located just above the green concrete structure (the factory cafeteria.)
