A blaze across the sky of the capital city was filmed by residents of the neighborhood airport.

The question of the origin of unidentified object generates numerous hypotheses.

The video was filmed last Thursday at 19:44 by Oscar Covi, who was surprised by this flare across the sky of Santiago while playing with his family at the airport in the northern district of the city of Santiago del Estero.

The images were taken by the camera phone (2 mega pixels), and is clear as the object travels in parallel to the ground.

According to photographer, "the blaze was headed west of the city at high speed." For sure there is no concrete information on the origin of the sighting.

Among the hypotheses from the witnesses are that it could be falling space debris, a meteor entering the atmosphere, smoke from a rocket, or even an alien spacecraft.
