It's been almost a year (to the day) since my last video. I have little time to sky watch and still there's been about a half dozen weird sightings so far this year... nothing motivating enough to write in about till now.
BJ I noticed this object in the sky on the west side of Cochrane near the edge of town. I guestimate it at 3-4 blocks away.
When I noticed it thought it instantly a cloud, some red flag had me go for the video/camera though. I was honestly thinking it was a cloud before, during, and after taping... seriously (sob), only thing that stood out to me was how out of place it looked in the sky, that's it.
That's why I pan around a couple times in the video, that was all that caught my eye, the way it stood out. As I filmed I could swear in the back of my mind "is it moving?" but for some reason I stop filming.
I was quite tired. I thought the movement was my eyes, the viewfinder is quite small as well so not the greatest point of view.
Later on, I got to thinking about the video; something about it wasn't right, so went to the computer downloaded it and watched it larger.
Basically, the object looked like a cloud, other than it stood out visually from its surroundings, at the same time it moves nothing like a cloud.
It vaguely changed shape, and if look carefully it has something sticking out the left side, like a beam of light. The whole time moving it never loses its cohesion; as a cloud moving would.
This is a totally new kind of craft sighting here. I'm saddened I didn't catch the rest of it.
Whatever people think about its movement as subtle as it is... I was holding my body as totally still as humanly possible at times while filming.
I heard no noise from the object at all (silent) as well you can hear the camera motor straining to adjust focus (maybe some gravel bit etc)
Cheers everyone,
