Dublin, Ireland - 2001
During August 2011, I observed two, large black triangular/arrowhead-shaped craft fly very slowly; perhaps 40-60 mph directly overhead roughly 200-400 feet in altitude and completely silent.
The second craft was about 3-4 seconds behind the first; both had an orange-colored circular light in the center of the craft (almost looked like an orb set into the body of the craft) while watching these for approximately 30 seconds as they passed overhead.
I looked at my watch; it was a Saturday evening 9:35 pm; wind completely still; the cloud level was about 2000 feet.
I remembered that the week before, at the same time there were a bunch of Chinese Lanterns released to the south of where I am. Three of them seemed to be tied together in a triangle. The other four or five Lanterns were drifting loosely; funny thing was the three that were tied together drifted out over the sea while the loose ones drifted up along the coastline on more or less the same track as the black craft did a week later.
I can’t help but think that it would be a wee bit strange to think that "ET" would release these Lanterns and fly over the area exactly a week later to the minute. The military, however, I think would do exactly that!
To report the triangles could and I'm sure would be put down as yet another citizen reporting Lanterns, but as we are here in Ireland, a neutral country with only a tiny defense force used mainly for peacekeeping duties abroad, whose military was it? not ours I think.
I reported this to (Bufora) in the UK, and was asked to draw a map, and describe the sighting etc... which I did of course, and never heard anything back. It seems to me to be more or less a complete waste of time reporting sightings in the UK or Ireland as its filed and seemingly forgotten!
This was the second time in my life I’ve seen very strange craft (not conventional aircraft). The first was in 1999 around July on a clear night with no moon. While staying at a friend’s house in the south of Sweden sitting on the back porch, I thought I was seeing the shuttle come through the atmosphere, but it came in very steep and then stopped.
Then proceeded slowly across the sky and stopped again. It glowed very brightly and within 30 seconds, it was fired upon by some kind of pulse weapon and left so fast it seemed to streak across the sky. I was dumbstruck!
I knew then that there was something going on that most folks are completely unaware of. Who has craft capable of such speed and can pop in and out of the atmosphere so easy and who is firing at them?
If I had not seen this with my own eyes, I would not have believed it, but I did, and I do. It’s very hard to ignore something like this; ask the hundreds of pilots through the years, that along with police, military and even astronauts are ignored or laughed at.
Yours sincerely
