Unknown Objects Seen over Easthampton, Massachusetts

Easthampton, Massachusetts - 02-02-12

Driving north on Route 5 in Holyoke, Massachusetts at 8:15 PM, I first noticed the lights obscured by trees to the east.

Initially I thought it was a large military aircraft; a C5A flying very low.

Once it cleared the trees on a west/southwest path, it crossed over my car at approximately 4,000 feet.

It was dark so I could only see lights and a bit of a wing. It was extremely large, bigger than a C5. It was a swept wing with no distinguishable tail.

There were 3 very large white lights, one on each wing and one on the front that were not blinking. There was one smaller red light on the belly that was blinking steadily.

There were no strobes or after burners. As it passed over my car I put my window down to get a better look and realized it was completely silent.

There was no sound of an engine or distinguishable power source. It continued west/southwest and I lost sight of it behind
