New Jersey - 01-14-12 I was looking thru your website because I saw something really strange in the sky around 11 pm on my drive home heading south towards Manhattan on the Palisades Parkway in NJ.

I was about 12 miles out of the city when I saw the lights ahead of me in my car. They were 4 oval looking shapes that were glowing white and looked like little cloud puffs.

They were moving very quickly each in different directions (North/South/West/East) and then every 5 seconds (I was counting) they would come together as a whole and then split apart immediately into 4s.

At first I thought it was just lights for a car dealership or circus or something, but they were not moving in a way that would resemble any light show I have ever seen.

They were moving very slowly as I was watching them in front of my car for a few minutes, then they were right over my car (I could see them out of my sunroof) and then they were visible only for a short time out of my rearview mirror.

By the time I got to the gas station to pull over, they were gone.

I am not sure who else to tell about this, so I figured I would share my story in case anyone else saw these lights.

The date was January 14th and it was around 11 pm. This is the best image I could "recreate" of what they looked like. I couldn't make out any type of ship, they were just oval, glowing puff balls.
