I was asleep while this happened... it looks like 2 of these objects were close to the ground up the farm. It's hard to tell!

It was recorded between 2 - 4:00 AM with a short timelapse. The camera was pointing towards the back of the farm; North towards the ocean. I'm in Rotorua, where there is a lot of activity.

More and more UFO videos are being posted to the web by users setting up video cameras to record overnight sky activities and some of them catch amazing, inexplicable images.

Such is the case with the video below, which chronicles several overnight shots of unidentified flying objects behaving strangely.

In it, a farmer in Rotorua, New Zealand sets up a night vision cam which records several hours of nighttime sky activity. The usual suspects are rounded up, including shooting stars, meteorites and what looks like normal airplane traffic.

In fact, it would appear the cam is situated directly in the flight path of a nearby airport, although that fact is not corroborated in the witness report.

One object in particular catches the eye.

At about the :30 mark, a brightly lit, saucer-shaped object emerges from the treetops surrounding the farm.

As it follows a similar flight path to an earlier, recorded object, this UFO suddenly flies away in an erratic, bizarre manner, which is not how one would expect aircraft to fly.

It doesn't seem this video is a hoax, although that cannot be discounted. The other objects in the video appear to fly seamlessly, and in a straight line, which is how such objects would be expected to fly.

There are a number of suspicions with night vision videos, mainly that it's easier to manipulate images because of the darkened sky.

However, in this instance, the object appears against the backdrop of a brilliantly starry, very clear night and doesn't seem to be enhanced or manipulated.
