Seattle, Washington - 07-04-12
This was on 4th of July during fireworks in Seattle. So many people saw it on my block as everyone was outside. It was also seen in other states.
It was very red-orange and kept going higher and higher, then faded out as it headed south. It was nothing from this world that I know of.
We were just getting a fire out, then we saw it in the sky coming from the south.
Someone saw it in the sky as a firework was going off.
I thought it was a firework that explodes in the air, and then I noticed it was getting higher and higher, so then I noticed it was not from the fireworks.
It went from the south to northeast over the sky for about 3 minutes until it faded. It first looked like a firework then the flame looking thing at end of it was gone and made more of a circle shape.
I wish I had seen more because I was in the house getting everyone outside. I thought we were being visited or they were just checking us out on the 4TH of July.
At first I thought it was a meteor or comet and I was like, 'no' because it's going up in the sky.
The object finally faded away in the sky like it went out or it was just so far that it faded away and we could not see it anymore.
Now I see on YouTube and the Internet that it was not just in Washington state; other people saw it more than once and the same sighting in other places and no one on TV talking about it is strange to me.
