Unknown Glowing Object Reported over Worthington, Ohio
UFO Depiction
Published: 10:36 AM 7/9/2012

Worthington, Ohio - 07-06-12 - 12:30 AM

Worthington is 11 miles north of Columbus

It was extremely hot and humid when I was getting off work and about to walk home.

I looked up at the southeastern sky and saw a large, brightly glowing orb; it was moving horizontally south to northeast, at a really fast speed.

The ball seemed about 500 to 700 feet off the ground, really big, the size of a beach ball or bigger and glowing bright orange.

The whole event lasted about 8 to 10 seconds, when the ball "burned out." It left a spiral vapor trail that hung in the air for about 4 seconds.

The orb was way too close to be a comet and it wasn't a firework either. I have heard of ball lighting and the weather has been really strange lately, so I can't tell you if this was a weather phenomenon or what, but it was amazing to see.

Thanks,

Tom
