Louisville, Kentucky - 06-25-13

At 12:00 a.m. Tuesday night - Wednesday morning, June 25, 26th, I saw a round or pill-shaped object of dark color, about the size of a minivan. There were no other witnesses.

I saw other planes flying around normally, but no noise was heard, the weather was clear, moon was visible; it was a nice calm night. There was no smell, no magnetic effects, no missing time and no pictures.

I am 32 years old and live in Indiana, but work in Louisville, KY; about a 30 minute drive home from work. At around 12:00 a.m. June 25, I was driving down Highway 71 southbound.

It was clear, with good visibility, and the moon was bright. I had my radio turned off and the windows were rolled partially down, cruise control was set at 60 mph; all in all a very normal night.

I have been driving this same route for many years. I was at the Zorn Ave. exit, which is right outside of downtown Louisville; there was no traffic around.

I noticed some lights about a half mile away atop the tree line to my left. My first thought was "wow, that helicopter, or plane is really low."

This object started to slowly move across the highway with no noise. I slowed down to around 45 mph to get a good look safely. This object flew slowly right above my car; I was able to look straight up from my windshield and look at this object, what made me notice this thing at first was the bright green lights that were on its belly.

They were extremely weird florescent colors; also one red light that was pulsing in this odd fashion, almost like a heartbeat.

These lights were only on the belly or bottom of this object, no other lights anywhere else. It was around 200 feet or lower in the air; it was about the size of a minivan.

As it was directly above, I tried to see the shape; its color was black. But the only way I could see the shape was because of its silhouette against the night sky and itís always bright because of downtown Louisville city lights.

It made no sense this thing was oblong, like a football or pill. Once it was over me, I slowed down even more so I could look behind at it from my rear window. It crossed over the tree line on my side of the highway heading in a northwest direction.

I see a lot of air traffic in the sky with UPS having their main hub here in Louisville. There are always planes flying around all day and night. And I know that the FFA requires ALL aircraft to have one green light on one side, one red light on the other side, one flashing white at the rear.

I see helicopters a lot too. But this was nothing I've ever seen before. I was able to see the front had no lights, the side no lights, the rear no lights, just the bottom or belly of object had lights.

This thing was way too large to be some kind of remote control toy. I could tell it was larger than my car. I really wish and hope someone else saw this object. It was by far the strangest thing I've seen in the air and the lights were like nothing else I have ever seen.
