Kitchener, Ontario, Canada - Friday, May 17th at around 10:20 PM (EST)
Rebecca Clemens (Iím HellaBex on UFO Casebook).
Three round amber orbs in a large triangle formation.
Name of other Witnesses? I did not see this myself. My partner Jamie saw it and took the picture with his cellphone. He was with two other people in a parking lot at the time of the sighting.
No other aircraft in the sky at the time. It was mainly clear, a few clouds.
Were there any pictures or videos taken of the object/s? One cellphone picture.
Please give all details of the sighting that you can recall.
On Friday night at around 10:20 PM, I received a phone call from my partner Jamie. You might remember him from the UFO video I took that was published on UFO Casebook on 8/29/2012.
He believed at the time that the craft we saw in Cambridge was a plastic bag caught in an updraft. Heís quite the skeptic.
Anyway, he called me from a friendís house a couple of miles away, very excited, and saying he saw lights hovering in the sky. He was standing in a parking lot, chatting with a couple of friends before heading home.
(When I asked later, the two other people he was with apparently noticed the UFO and one of them tried to take some video of it on his cellphone. However, when Jamie texted them the next day about it, they never responded to him.)
At the time, I thought he said they were green lights. Since itís the May 24 weekend and there are lots of fireworks going off, I asked him if that could be what he was seeing.
He said no, he could see lights, they were gliding across the sky, switching directions, and going off in another direction, not making a sound.
I told him to get off the phone and take some video, pictures, ANYTHING! I ran outside to see for myself, but I couldnít see anything.
About 10 minutes later, he called me again, driving home, saying he could still see the lights. Thatís when he clarified that they were an orange/amber colour. My first thought was The Phoenix Lights.
I started asking him questions...
"Are they a round/oval shape?" "Yes."
"Do they look like light but have no glare?" "Yes."
He mentioned that there were four, but one of them went out and another was going out when he snapped a picture.
I asked him if they dimmed out, as if on a dimmer switch. He said yes. At this point, I didnít want him to get in a car accident, so I told him to hang up and I would come out and meet him when he got home.
Once he returned home, I hopped in the car, video camera in hand, and off we went, back to the spot where he first saw them. Unfortunately, we didnít see anything else.
When we returned home, I played The Phoenix Lights documentary for him, just to see for sure if the video/descriptions came close to what he saw.
Well, he became very distraught and said that is EXACTLY what he saw; same characteristics, etc.
Some people have difficulty processing what they donít understand or cannot explain. However, I do believe we now have one less skeptic on the planet.
Here is the picture he took:
