Scottsdale, Arizona - 05-25-13
The object was observed May 25 at 21:59 near Hayden and Thunderbird in Scottsdale AZ. The object was moving at a speed comparable to a private jet at an estimated altitude of 1000 ft. and traveled a straight line in a dead on westerly direction.
The object emitted zero noise and had no illuminated marker lights. The object, however, did have dim amber illumination which resembled the illumination from the windows of a house in the distance at night.
The sighting lasted until the object faded away which was approximately 30 seconds.
I attempted identification of the object on Flightware.com and flgihtradar24.com. The object did not track on either sight. On May 29, 2013 I contacted FAA Flight Operations at the Scottsdale Airport for insight on the unidentified object and was once again unsuccessful.
In a second call to the Scottsdale Airport Operations I was informed a second person had made a similar inquiry about the same object the day before May 28, 2013.
In relation to numerous aircraft I have observed in the vicinity of this airport, this object stood out as highly unusual.
Furthermore in relation to every other aircraft I observed the evening of the sighting which included prop and jet propulsion and both private and commercial aircraft once again this object appeared as highly unusual with no sound, no definable shape, no marker lights; yet illuminated and its straight west path.
