... it jolted upwards stopping much higher in the sky
The Woodlands, Texas - 10-17-14
I was in my bed around midnight doodling on my phone. I was laying on my back and happened to look through my window/skylight near my ceiling, as I do every night.
I noticed a yellowish/orange starlike object that seemed much brighter than the usual star. I watched it closely for 20-30 minutes and it always seemed like it was moving very slightly.
I have no clue how far it was since it was a tad bit bigger than the usual star. Also, it almost seemed like it would change forms very slightly. At times, it didn't exactly look like a orb/star anymore.
It would almost look as if it was slightly shifting shapes, yet still had the orb-like star shape. I kept checking my vision over and over because I wasn't believing my eyes. Every time I looked, I always noticed it was slightly moving around in a circular motion.
Hardly noticeable, but still noticeable.
Another reason I believe that it wasn't a star, is the fact that it was flickering more than any other star I've ever seen. It was a calm flicker and much brighter than the average star. As well as a little bit fatter looking, but still small from my view.
After about 30 minutes of the same thing, I went back to my phone and would glimpse back once in awhile to see if it ever moved. About an hour later, I was ready to go to sleep finally but decided to watch it more because of my curiosity.
After about 20 to 30 more minutes of staring at it non-stop, it jolted upwards stopping much higher in the sky. It moved extremely fast. Just shot up higher in the sky and faded to practically nothing.
The light fully disappeared after it stopped moving. I don't know what in the world it was. I've never seen anything like this happen before. I'm mind boggled.
