Ex-serviceman has possible close encounter with a UFO...
Truth is out there: Ex-serviceman the latest to have a possible close encounter with a UFO on Coast.
MATT TAYLOR, CENTRAL COAST GOSFORD EXPRESS ADVOCATE
It was bright white and blue in colour and shaped like a cigar. And it made no noise as it hovered above the Ettalong Beach area.
Glen Rogers couldn’t make any sense of what he was seeing as he waited for the No. 53 bus just after 5am on Thursday.
“The object was stationary in the sky for a while, then it started to move erratically from left to right, up and down, and when turning it didn’t slow at all. Some of the turns were very sharp and like nothing I’ve ever seen a conventional aircraft make,” the 41-year-old, of Booker Bay, said.
These are strange days indeed in the Central Coast’s skies.
Mr Rogers’ sighting comes just days after Josh Elton and his family saw a similar luminous object in the Gorokan area and wondered if they’d had a close encounter with a UFO.
The Express Advocate forwarded Mr Rogers’ account to Dominic McNamara, an expert on UFO sightings.
Mr McNamara, a senior member of the UFO and Paranormal Research Society of Australia, is yet to respond with his theory on what Mr Rogers saw. He is still “examining” the Elton family’s sighting.
