ALIENS CAPTURE TOP-SECRET NASA MOON BASE!
A super-secret NASA moon base -- code-named Project Prometheus -- was recently assaulted and captured by aliens, according to a high-ranking NASA official who spoke only on condition of anonymity.
NASA’s little known Alien Threat Response Team, based at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, is holding around-the-clock meetings to craft a counterattack, along with a defense plan, should the aliens decide to launch further attacks against Earth itself.
NASA officials vehemently deny the story, but the agency has been abuzz with the activities on the moon.
“This situation is very troubling and has given the agency a huge black eye, though no one here will ever admit it,” says one high-level source in the interplanetary affairs division.
“Whether or not this has happened before, I can’t comment. But what I do know is that once news of this becomes public, NASA’s future is in serious trouble.”
NASA Mission Control technicians in Houston first detected the moon base attack as it occurred just before 5 a.m. Central Daylight Time on May 17.
Two dozen or so aliens swarmed the space colony,” says the NASA insider. “We couldn’t see them coming until it was too late.”
Prometheus, secretly established in 1996 at an estimated cost of $2 trillion, had been testing a top-secret thermalnuclear weapon for months when it was captured.
“All of our research and intelligence showed us that the lunar facility was secure,” says one American astronaut who space-shuttled down from Project Prometheus two years ago after performing routine maintenance.
“I’m just lucky I wasn’t there when this went down. If NASA plans a manned response, I’ve got some buddies who are in line to go up and clean house.
“They’re ready to kick some alien butt, but they’re still scared.”
An unmanned response may include initiating Project Prometheus’s self-destruct feature.
A NASA source in the audio-video storage division who’s seen the images of the aliens says, “They were unlike anything I’ve seen before.
“The closest I can describe them is they look like plants, like a clump of reeds, but with a giant head surrounded by a cloud of steam.”
It is unknown exactly why the aliens attacked the moon base. But they may have been responding to a weapons test that resulted in the vaporization of a large mountain range on the planet Venus.
The extraterrestrials have made no attempt at communicating their demands if they have any.
“I’m not sure we’d understand them even if they did try to communicate,” says the high-level interplanetary affairs source.
“What’s really on everyone’s mind is how this snafu will affect future secret weapons-testing bases being established throughout the solar system,” says the source.

Bush reissues order keeping AREA 51 secret
Sept. 18 — For more than four decades, an unusual alliance of mainstream lawyers, conspiracy theorists and UFO enthusiasts has tried to find out just what is going on at Groom Lake, Nev. — the top-security Air Force facility better known to fans of “The X-Files” as Area 51. Now they will have to wait at least another year after President Bush reissued an executive order Wednesday barring the disclosure of any information about the site.
According to one popular theory, the government studies alien paceships at Area 51, where it keeps captured unidentified flying objects stored in underground bases and conducts autopsies on aliens.
IN THE CONTINUATION of a drama played out every Sept. 18 since 1995, Bush signed the order to make sure that lawyers pursuing hazardous-waste claims against the Environmental Protection Agency could not get their hands on classified information about the site, which lies in the middle of a remote stretch of desert 100 miles north of Las Vegas.
The government did not even acknowledge the existence of the site until the mid-1990s, when it had to begin responding to workers’ claims of injuries resulting from hazardous waste practices.
Even now, all the Air Force will say is that the area is used “for the testing of technologies and systems training for operations critical to the effectiveness of U.S. military forces and the security f the United States.” It insists that “specific activities and operations ... both past and present, remain classified and cannot be discussed.”
Although exasperated government lawyers say nothing nefarious is going on at Groom Lake, they have gone to herculean lengths to make sure no one knows what is going on at Groom Lake. President Dwight Eisenhower began the process all the way back in 1955, when he issued an executive order restricting airspace over the site. Then, in 1995, President Bill Clinton raised the stakes by issuing an order clamping down on discussion or release of any information whatsoever.
That was about the time attorneys for former government workers began taking their rejected medical claims to court. Those lawyers believe the government is trying to keep the site secret to avoid having to admit it mishandled hazardous materials, exposing the workers to toxic fumes when it allegedly dumped poisonous resins into open pits and burned them in the 1970s and ’80s.
THE ULTIMATE COVER-UP?
There is another group, however, that thinks something else entirely is going on at Groom Lake — something spooky, something otherworldly. To this group, the site is known as Area 51, the nexus of the greatest government cover-up in history. It is, they say, where the government studies alien spaceships, where it keeps captured unidentified flying objects stored in underground bases, and where it conducts autopsies on aliens.
Writers for “The X-Files” were able to dredge up numerous scripts from stories that have built up since May 1989, when a physicist named Bob Lazar told a Las Vegas television station about nine alien flying saucers he said were being held near Groom Lake by a rogue agency of the federal government.
Lazar claimed that the government was studying the propulsion system of the spacecraft, which were flown to Earth from the Zeta Reticuli star system. According to Lazar, the Reticulans have been overseeing human evolution for a hundred centuries, and since they were found out, they have been cooperating with the U.S. government on a direct exchange of technology.
The government, to the extent that it has commented at all, says Lazar’s account is utter nonsense.More prosaically, mainstream scientists suggest, the government simply wishes to limit its liability as it establishes the Nevada Test Site at nearby Yucca Mountain as a storage repository for hazardous nuclear waste. Those alleging an extraterrestrial conspiracy say instead that Yucca Mountain was chosen precisely so federal researchers could have unfettered access to its stored nuclear energy sources via a secret underground tunnel.
In any event, the government has argued that it cannot say anything about Area 51, and it has fought workers’ lawyers zealously in court to keep government documents about the site sealed. One of those lawyers, Jonathan Turley of George Washington University, described the courtroom jousting with federal lawyers as “otherworldly.” And every year since Clinton issued his executive order in 1995, the White House has reaffirmed the cloak of secrecy on Sept. 18.
Presumably, as Agent Mulder would have it, “the truth is out there.” Just don’t ask the president.

Whirlwind or UFO?
The Welsh Federation of Independent Ufologists received this story of a UFO sighting over Corwen. However conflicting reports describe a "whirlwind". What's your opinion?
A young couple and the girlfriend's mother were travelling along the A5 through Corwen and Llangollen when realising THEY were following a UFO. The three say the craft - which emitted purple and blue light - stayed 30 metres ahead of them whilst hovering some distance off the ground for a distance of 12 miles.
On returning to the scene it was found that the speedometer marked 12 miles exactly where, some years earlier, a youth had claimed he had been abducted. Interestingly, the three people in the car had been travelling from Oxford en route to Holyhead to catch a ferry to Ireland and had never visited Wales before.
They did not appear to be aware of the coincidence and neither did investigator Margaret Fry until she visited the scene to follow up inquiries. The older woman passenger described being afraid after seeing what, at first, she thought appeared to be a small grey object flying in the sky on a clear night on July 5 1996.
Following newspaper reports Margaret was made aware of further possible sightings in which three separate car-loads of travellers thought they had became caught up in a localised "whirlwind" - three separate localised whirlwinds! A builder and his co-travellers along with a photographer and friends had also been on the A5, but this time a dozen miles away at Oswestry, at about the same time as the couple and the woman's mother.
The builder reported seeing a "big whirling thing" which travelled across the sky and the photographer also described a whirlwind though his friends couldn't distinguish what it was. Finally, a mother and two teenage boys had been travelling in a car near Holyhead when they too reported the strange sighting. Do you think the "whirlwinds" were something to do with the weather or could it have been some kind of propulsion system? Tell us your views.
Summer writes from the USA with her opinion: "I think this whirlwind effect could have been produced from some high tech cloaking device, allowing certain viewers to see only from specific angles. In theory, a distortion of light would occur from other angles, while some people seeing the same thing see a UFO. In other cases, I have read others describing a mysteriously moving cloud before seeing a UFO emerge."

STRANGE RADIO PULSES REPORTED BY MOSCOW
Amid reports from at least six American states that unidentified flying objects had been seen and even visited, Moscow reported last night the detection of radio signals that may have originated with another civilization.
The signals were recorded by a network of four stations operating under the direction of Vsevolod Troitsky, a well-known Soviet astrophysicist. According to news reports from Moscow the signals were in the form of pulses detected several times a day, each time lasting several minutes.
Earlier Soviet radio astronomers had reported detecting signals coincidentally at four stations from the Pacific to the vicinity of Moscow. However, the recordings occurred only in daylight and were finally attributed to outbursts on the sun.

A Tass Report
A report by the Soviet press agency Tass said Prof. Samuel Kaplan of Gorky University was the first to identify the signals. It added that their origin from a man-made earth satellite had been ruled out. The signals have been under discussion for some months. The Russians said they were not Soviet spacecraft and inquired if they might be from an American satellite. They were reportedly told "no," but this did not rule out the possibility that the space vehicle was of a clandestine nature.
It was also possible that the signals originated sufficiently high in the earth's atmosphere to be recorded by very widely spaced stations, the Moscow announcement said. Meanwhile, news agencies yesterday carried reports of unidentified flying objects, or U.F.O.'s, from Arkansas, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Ohio and West Virginia. They followed earlier television accounts of such sightings in Georgia. In the past such publicity has typically been followed by a rash of additional reports.
An Ohio report, by the Associated Press, concerned a woman who phoned police "hysterically" to say that an oblong object had landed in a field and killed two cows. The police investigated but were unable to confirm the account. United Press International told of two shipyard workers in Pascagoula, Miss., who said they had been taken aboard a fish-shaped craft and subjected to examination by "an eye-like scanning device." (Editor's Note: the reference here is to the Hickson/Parker case.)
It added that Dr. J. Allen Hynek of Northwestern. University and Dr. James Harder of the University of California had examined the men under hypnosis and believed their account to be genuine. Dr. Hynek, who formerly investigated U.F.O. reports for the Air Force, has long sustained the majority view that they should be taken seriously.
If the signals reported by Moscow originate in some distant part of the heavens, because of the earth's rotation they should only be detected across the width of the Soviet Union during the same period each day. The Soviet account, however, did not specify the time interval between each period of signal receipt.

NORTHUMBERLAND (TODD SEES UPDATE!!) More details are coming out about the craft seen on Montour Ridge on August 6, 2002, at 5:30 AM in the morning by a farmer and three fishermen on the Susquehanna River. It was at the very top of the mountain on the western end, just hovering above the power lines. The farmer said, "He could see some sparks flying from the tower and dropping to the ground. The whole incident lasted about 10 minutes, then it got very bright and took off very low heading west, then it stopped and went straight up, it was gone in seconds. The horses on the farm were very upset and nervous for about 12 hours."
It was round and very still over the lines. Suddenly it moved what looked like a few hundred feet to the East, it stopped and a beam of blue and white light shined to the ground. He saw what appeared to be a man suspended in the light, he was being pulled up head first, he was moving his arms slowly in the light? What looked like a man was pulled up into the bottom of the craft. A few seconds later the craft started shuddering, then went west very fast, stopped briefly, and then flew straight up and out of sight. Two days later a young man was found dead not far away. The man had driven his vehicle up the mountain looking for deer signs at around 5:00 AM. His 4 wheeler was two miles from where his body was found in thick brush. The Blood hounds never got a scent past the 4 wheeler.
The Daily Item Newspaper report by Marcia Moore reports: Northumberland Investigators are still awaiting toxicology results to determine what killed a 39-year-old Northumberland County man found in the woods near his home last month. Point Township police began investigating the death of Todd Sees after his body was discovered Aug. 5 in a wooded area at the western base of Montour Ridge about 150 yards from his house. An autopsy failed to conclude a cause of death and toxicology tests were ordered. "Right now we're on hold until we get the test results," Point Township Police Chief Gary Steffen said Tuesday.
The blood tests are expected to take another four or five weeks, he said. "It's just a waiting game," Steffen said. "Something certainly caused his death. The answer has to be in the blood." Sees was reported missing on the afternoon of Aug. 4, hours after he left his home on an ATV to go scouting for deer on Montour Ridge. A family member found the ATV about two miles from his home, but there was no sign of Sees. About 200 volunteers, along with tracking dogs and searchers in helicopters, looked for the missing man for several hours.
About 30 hours after he went missing, Sees' relatives stumbled upon his body in a densely wooded area of the ridge about 150 yards from his house. Northumberland County Coroner James Kelley said the autopsy revealed Sees had been dead between 24 hours to 36 hours, but found no signs of trauma or of coronary disease. MUFON is investigating. NEW YORK CITY SIGHTINGS
STATEN ISLAND -- It was a clear night and the witness was using binoculars to look at the stars on September 8, 2002, twenty after midnight and saw a very bright, well defined "greenish-white" light pass through his field of view, moving quickly, but steadily, not like an aircraft. The witness said, "I presumed it was a low orbiting satellite, but as I watched, it split into two distinct lights, one red, the other green. As I kept looking, the lights merged back into the original "greenish-white" light originally spotted. I also thought it might be a fighter jet just banking with respect to my line of sight, but I would have seen the green (starboard) light first, then green and red, then back to green. The first, original color was a very pale green...almost white, the "split color" a much deeper green, (a lot like a navigation light). The object traveled southwest, and was spotted about 45 degrees up from the horizon to where I lost it
MANHATTAN -- On September 8, 2002, at 4 PM. two witnesses in Central Park saw several UFO's high in the sky. The witness first noticed an object that looked to be circular and white. I didn't think much of it until I noticed that it had not moved for several minutes. I pointed the object out to my friend and asked if it could have been the planet Venus? We noticed that it had started to move. Then my friend pointed out another one. We started to see more and more and as they slowly moved in different directions and at one point three of the objects formed in a shape of a triangle and then slowly moved back into a straight line and then went in completely different directions. One turned from a sphere into a longer thinner 'sperm-like' object. Due to its speed, this object was seen for about 45 seconds before it moved out of sight. The rest of the objects moved very slowly apart. We saw eleven objects for almost two hours. Peter Davenport spoke with him and found the witness to be serious-minded and quite credible.
QUEENS -- On September 8, 2002, at 8 PM, while sitting in my living room talking on the phone I saw this cup and saucer like object in the sky. It sat there for a few minutes and then it got smaller and smaller and disappeared. At first I thought it was a blimp but then a blimp flew underneath it to verify that it was not it.
CENTRAL SQUARE - In upstate NY, on September 8, 2002, the witness saw out his window at 1 AM, what appeared to be the reflection of police lights. When they got closer he realized it was a hovering saucer shaped object high in the western sky. The witness said, "The top was shining brightly with red, green and blue lights, and the bottom had a very bright white light. It would spin very fast "it looked like the toy top I played with as a child" and then it would slow down and hover up and down and suddenly disappeared. This sighting lasted 45 minutes. At 2: AM, I received a phone call from a lady friend traveling from Cicero who saw the same object. Last night, we patiently waited at our homes three miles apart, and about 9:30 PM, the same object returned and hovered for over 2 hours. My friend called North Syracuse and her friend could also see it. She also located another friend three miles south in Brewerton who could also see it. NEW JERSEY EGGS AND DANCING LIGHTS IN THE SKY
NEWARK -- On September 7, 2002, an egg-shaped craft was moving very slowly, and descended below the horizon at 7:30 PM, and headed away to the west.

CALIFON -- On September 8, 2002, using his telescope the witness spotted a stationary cylindrical object composed of a black inner disk and an outer ring that contained seemingly thousands of rapidly pulsating and rotating lights of constantly changing colors. The witness says, "At 9:45 PM, I first saw what appeared to be a big star that was changing colors from red to blue to green. Looking through the telescope, I saw a very deliberately shaped circle of thousands of light grids that were pulsing and rotating. The colors were distinct. A significantly smaller round object was flying around the large object in a random pattern. It was definitely a manufactured object. A second observer also looked through the telescope, and agreed the colors were indescribable and changed within a fraction of a second, and never slowed down pulsating. Each time it changed, it wasn't one solid color on the object.
MILLSTONE -- While laying on a hammock, looking up on September 8, 2002, the witness observed a white light against a pale blue cloud free sky. At 1:30 PM, the light danced around, stopped, and changed directions faster than could be imagined. It looked like the effect you might get as your watch crystal picks up light and dances on the ceiling. The object moved to the southwest, stopped, pulsed and got brighter/larger and vanished.

MARYLAND CYLINDER NEAR AIRPORT
BALTIMORE WASHINGTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT -- Two people who live near the airport saw a strange cylinder shaped craft with bright lights on September 13, 2002, at 11:10 PM. They stated, "We are used to seeing aircraft, but there wasn't a glare from the UFO lights like normal lights, that is why it caught our eyes at first ." After about ten-second the cylinder craft disappeared completely. I have 20/10 vision and could not make out where the craft had gone. There were no clouds where the craft had been and it was still mostly light out. It got skinnier and disappeared without a trace. The person I was with asked if I saw it also? FLORIDA SPHERE AND WE GOT PHOTOS
BROOKSVILLE -- They came from different directions September 4, 2002, about 8:30 PM, and met in the middle, but never touched. They stayed in one spot then each went back the way they came, all but one went to the east. It flew slowly like it was just cruising for may be three minutes, then it flew like a shot east! OHIO TRUCK DRIVER SEES UFO
NEWBERRY -- A truck driver was sitting in parking lot at 3:28 AM, when his attention was drawn to an extremely bright object moving rapidly in the southern sky on September 12, 2002. It was a bit smaller than a full Moon. It was 8 degrees above the horizontal plane near the southern horizon, and it traversed 7 degrees in one-second. The object was descending at a 45 degree angle, traveling from right to left, from the vantage point of the witness. Thanks Peter Davenport

TENNESSEE DISK OBSERVED UFO FALLING FROM CLOUD
GERMANTOWN - The bright silver and disk like object descended strait down from a white cloud toward the ground at high speed on September 8, 2002, at 7:10 PM. It turned gray with slight tan color showing slightly on top. The witness took a hasty picture with his digital camera as the object disappeared into low altitude cloud clutter. The sun had recently set, but clouds at least 6000 feet were still being illuminated as was the object during initial fall. An airliner passed through the cloud within a few seconds. ISRAEL DOZENS OF WEIRD ET INCIDENTS
Residents of the towns of Kadima and Rishon Letzion have reported numerous sightings of UFOs for the last ten years. Some people have even claimed that UFOs have landed on their lawns. Circles were found on the landing sites, and Ufologists discovered silver-colored metal pieces and a red oil-like substance. Analysis of the substances showed that the silver-colored metal was pure silicon, which does not exist in nature. Cadmium was found in the oil. People also claim they saw tall baldheaded creatures coming out of the flying objects that rushed into houses, acting very aggressively.
Hanna Sameh from the settlement of Burgatu could see her barking dog raised in the air; then it flew by the window and slammed into a wall. Hanna opened the door in order to see a tall, bald man. Who stated, "Your dog was bothering me, as you are now and I can do the same to you; get out of here!" Rishon Letzion, saw a strange flash and opened the door and bumped into tall creatures. They were wearing shiny gray clothes. Their faces were covered with a luminous haze
Kasatini shut the door but fell seriously ill for two days. He was given a medical examination, but the doctors did not find the reason for his mysterious illness. Aliens were seen in the settlement of Moshe Poret and destroyed all the domestic animals. Memuneh Guet found her little dog whining on the floor, someone had ripped his eyes out and the dog died several minutes later. Then the woman rushed to her barn and found all of her sheep dead. Someone drilled little holes in their heads. During 1995-1996, Israeli drivers were often the victims of aggressive aliens. Dozens of incidents have been reported since 1993.

UFO Quote of the Week
I was testing a P-51 fighter in Minneapolis when I spotted this object. I was at about 10,000 feet on a nice, bright, sunny afternoon. I thought the object was a kite, then I realized that no kite is gonna fly that high. As I got closer it looked like a weather balloon, gray and about three feet in diameter.
But as soon as I got behind the darn thing it didn't look like a balloon anymore. It looked like a saucer, a disk. About the same time, I realized that it was suddenly going way from me-and there I was, running at about 300 miles per hour. I tracked it for a little way, and then all of a sudden the damn thing just took off. It pulled about a 45 degree climbing turn and accelerated and just flat disappeared.

Discussion Board Moderator Needed
There has been so much going on at the Casebook this week, I don't know where to start. But I will try! We have just initiated our first UFO and Alien Forum. I don't have time to run it, and I am looking for a volunteer to do that. It will take some time for it to get going, but I feel like it will eventually be fairly active. All you have to do is register with your email addie and then pick yourself a name. There is instant message capabilites also, and email notification for messages added if you wish.
I feel like that eventually the boards could be run with about 15-20 minutes a day. The boards will be limited to the discussion of UFOs, Aliens, and closely related topics. The moderator will only create new topics from time to time, and basically monitor the boards. I will give the person full editing capability. One would have to possess a fair knowledge of UFO history, and an ongoing knowledge of what is happening today. And you would get your name up in lights! If anyone of you would be interested in doing this just email me telling me a little bit about yourself.
This last week we added 4 articles to our documents pages, 6 videos to our multi-media section, and updates to News. The mailing list is still growing.
